Green Valley Ranch Beer Garden

Loved this place. Fun outdoor patio. Wonderful carefully picked beers. Surprisingly excellent food. Knowledgeable, friendly staff with personality halfway between nouveau-​hippies and hipsters.

Excellent food and a great beer selection. We were in visiting from Chicago, and the bartender explained how things worked and gave us good recommendations. I can’t wait to go back!

Great beers, great food. This place didn’t come up on a Unilocal search for restaurants but don’t be misled, their food is great and a very cool atmosphere.

Having just flown into Denver from Florida, this was exactly what I needed. Located close to the airport, the burger was excellent, and fries were portioned generously. Visited during slow hours, so I can’t speak for how they handle the dinner rush, but staff was very polite and friendly. Will definitely be stopping by next time I’m in town.

First and foremost, the first thing I noticed was the great customer service Beer Garden had to offer. My girlfriend and I walked in, and with it being out first time there, we weren’t sure what to expect. The gentleman behind the bar was quick to welcome us and offer us something to drink before placing our food order. Unfortunately, there wasn’t a vast selection of beer for a place called «Beer Garden», but it was easy to see past that with the well received warm welcome.
Once we got up to order our food, the young lady was very knowledgeable on what the menu had to offer and was very good when it came to recommending something to us. My girlfriend got the bison burger and I went with the philly; we also ordered fried pickles and onion rings. The onion rings were average and everything else was above average as far as typical bar food goes. It was delivered between 10 – 15 mins after placing our order.
The environment was great. Had an outdoor area to sit at and a fire pit on the inside to sit by if you were lucky enough to find a seat by it, (we weren’t so lucky.)
As far as price goes, I would say it was a tad bit on the pricey side. For our two beers, two sides, and two entrees we paid around $ 40 before tip.
The food was good, the beer selection was mediocre, the price was okay, and the customer service was fantastic. Great place for an evening out.

First time in, didn’t know what to expect. First stop: Beer (Mediocre selection). Two draft beers: about $ 12 Second stop: Food; everything on the menu looks so good! Two meals we got: the bison burger topped with The Oakland; front counter girl had suggested, it was delicious!, a Philly and a side of onion rings and fried pickles: about $ 30 without tip. Third stop: seating. It’s easy to find a comfortable place. The atmosphere is «chill.» There’s a fire pit and several flat screens; all the games were on. Food was delivered at the table within 10 – 15 minutes. Employees made sure we were doing well and cleared out plates at the perfect time. Will definitely check the BG out again!

My visit was sandwiched between two trips to DIA to pickup friends visiting for a weekend Mancation. It sure beat waiting in the cellphone parking lot!
There was a lot of seating inside and outside and I spied a little kids play area. This seems like a really cool place to hangout.
I’d be hard pressed to say that I would drive all the way across town to hangout here and that is a shame. There is no much else in the area so it’d be a good place to come knock back a few if you’re in the area.

Great place for a few beers and some unwind time! Careful if it’s chilly. I love the outdoor feeling, but it’s difficult to stay warm in the colder weather. Even near the heaters or inside.

Food was fantastic, great local beer selection. Fish and chips were very moist. Little kids play area was perfect! Games to play while waiting or just to relax. Great find!

Great selection! They offer something for every beer lover. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and had a great time with friends!

The GVR beer garden is perfection. I work in the area, and having such a great place to go with colleagues after work is a welcome addition to the GVR community. The outdoor area with games and seating is fun for a summer afternoon.
The indoor area is also packed with table games you can play. Enormous connect four is a personal favorite. They have a great beer selection that rotates regularly. A recent favorite has been the «Not Your Daddy’s Rootbeer». It’s so delicious that it’s a bit dangerous to taste because you’ll chug it.
The menu here has some expected bar fare — but most of it is handmade. The sweet potato fries and fried pickles with homemade ranch are a must. But you can also get some ligher fare — I recently had a kale and farro salad that surpassed my expectations. If you’re in a more American classic mood, they also have tasty hot dogs and burgers that you can deck out with your preferred toppings.
GVR Beer Garden for the win!

Was in town for a night because we volunteered to take a later flight back home from Denver. After a nightmare at the airport my girlfriend and I desperately needed a cold one. Looked up bars on Unilocal and ended up at the GVR beer garden — boy did we luck out. Apart from the delicious 15+ taps they have, their service is impeccable and they have bocce ball, corn hole, and croquet in the beer garden that are open to all 21 and over. Absolutely recommend this place to anyone who loves beer and appreciates unique bar food. If we lived here, we would frequent this place.

I really enjoyed this place a lot. The flavors were all on point, but everything was a bit overcooked. The pita on my shrimp tacos was sharp and crunchy. If they get that under control they’ll be 5 stars easily.

The most amazing service I have ever experienced. I was on an airport run and hadn’t eaten yet, the place was closing at 8:30 and at 8:25 they let me put in a to go order even after having cleaned the whole kitchen already. I will most definitely be returning as often as possible! Thank you!!!
The patio is stacked with games and the building itself is set up perfect for the summer weather. Plus they’re a sister company to the Lowry Beer garden so I already knew the food and beer was going to be good.

This is a fun place to relax inAurora! We play trivia here on Weds. Its a lot of fun!

Past couple times I’ve been in the music they play is absolutely horrible. It’s loud, Old Navy-​esque. We drive all the way from Parker to come here. I’m giving it one more time to drop the identity crisis and behave like a well-​run beer garden.

Beer Gardens… Love them, hate driving a long way to get to them.
Met some friends here on a Saturday night and it was alright. There wasn’t very many people there when we got there, and then when we left it was about half full. We were there on Final Four weekend and the TV set up was okay. The beer selection was nice, but also pretty pricey. We only got french fries for food because we weren’t that hungry and they were good. The line for the food was a little ridiculous as they only had one register open and 3 other people just standing there watching the one guy enter orders on his register. The one awesome, redeeming quality to this beer garden? The outdoor game set up. They have bocce ball, corn hole, and more. Even a little play area for those who have kids. I’d love to try this place on a warm summer day.
All in all, IF you’re all the way out there, why not go? If not out there, I think you can get about the same beer garden experience closer to town.

This place is «Bro» central of GVR. How many white dudes in tank tops can I see in an afternoon?! Answer: All of them within a 10 mile radius.
The beers are awesome, I had the «Oakwood» turkey burger and I tell you what — I would eat that all day, every day. Freakin’ delicious. Great atmosphere, the games were awesome.
Will be back all the time this summer, if nothing else to drink beer and judge the tan lines on bros.

Children are limited to one area not allowed to run a muck.(really beer gardens are not supposed to be for children) but hey to each their own.
Cons
When it is chilly the inside area is a bit small for everyone.
Maybe change up the taps more often, but I think that is due to them needing to be emptied before new ones are tapped.

This place was our first stop off of the airport and it was awesome!!! The service was amazing especially the bar tender Frank who made us feel like home. The food was also superb. We had the bison burgers and it was delicious with the apricot mustard. I definitely recommend this place.
