Greasy spoon. Diner. Breakfast. I must say they did everything right. Amazing hash. Hash browns perfect. Banana bread French toast crunchy on the outside and moist inside. We were pleasantly surprised by our post early morning flight meal. If you find yourself hungry leaving DIA, stop here.

I’ve lived near the place for 10 years and have always wanted to try it. I wish I would have sooner! They have good food with huge portions. The service was phenomenal! Patriest was our server and she was hands down the best server I have ever had. She was super friendly and personable. The only downside is that their food is pricy compared to Village Inn which is right down the street and serves a lot of the same food. Their great service makes up for it though. We will be coming back for sure.

Nice atmosphere with good food. The Kitchen Sink is the bomb. They serve breakfast all day! Have spirits and beer too. Staff is friendly. We will be back

Diner’s a regular thing we do and this place is one of the best we’ve been to. The place was clean and had appealing aesthetics. The service could have been a little faster but we were in no hurry. The Food was very good and cooked exactly as ordered. I personally LOVED the home made corned beef hash!

This place is a diamond in the rough of a very character-lacking hotel park. It looks like a cool old-school diner and serves local beer and comfort food.

Other than ‘no olives’ for Bloody Mary and ‘no Grand Manier’ for the margarita we ordered, so far so good. Funky little place!

Nope. Just say no. The place looked dirty, the service was awful and the food was nothing special. Yes, the place looks like an old school diner but it also looks really random and dirty. Our server was so rude to us. Yes, she was working by herself but it really wasn’t that busy. She was very polite to the man sitting behind us but to A and I she just seemed impatient. The only good thing about this place is that it’s close to the airport.

Don’t. Just don’t. Unless it’s snowing and your hotel is in this deserted land near the airport and you’re starving. And desperate… very desperate. Our server was nice. That’s the only reason I gave it 2 stars. The food is a 1 or lower. I got the chicken fried steak… pretty sure meat isn’t supposed to be gray. I got the dinner and it was served with mashed potatoes, vegetable medley and blueberry muffin. I don’t get the muffin at all. The vegetable medley was frozen and heated up in a skillet. The mashed potatoes were standard, nothing more. The muffin had okay flavor but was dry and crumbly. The chicken fried steak was gray and tough.

The diner looks great, strait out of the past. Their is no theme or 50’s uniforms, just strait up classic American. The food is decent but nothing special. I had the mountain man breakfast which included a little of everything. Yet the sausage links seemed to be the type that were already cooked and frozen. Pancakes seemed to be made in house as were the eggs. This place is a great alternative to overpriced crappy airport food. The service was spot on and the staff were very friendly. I will definetly go back but I certainly won’t be expecting 5 star food. You simply must visit if you are in a surrounding hotel but you shouldn’t be driving more than 20 minutes to visit it.

Average diner with a close proximity to Denver International Airport. Plenty of parking. The interior needs maintenance with sticky tables that cry out for sanding, stain and a clear coat. Booths have duct tape sealing up the holes. Nice decorations for Halloween. We decided to stop for breakfast before our flight. Decide on your order quick as food takes a while. Probably because the short order cook needs extra time to overcook the food. My grilled cheese was great but the accompanying hashbrowns that were ordered crispy arrived black. The replacements weren’t any better as they were very dry and had no flavor. The scrambled eggs were poor and more like ribbon pieces; my brother wouldn’t eat them after the first taste. Sausage was good and the over easy eggs were good. Pancakes were okay but a little on they dry side. They were also out of orange juice. Rita, our server, was excellent. There aren’t too many choices for breakfast in the area but we won’t be back.

I don’t know what servers the other reviewers had but mine was a total bitch! Nothing about her was endearing. I heard her say she needed to eat something because she drank too much last night. Maybe she should have a drink now!!? Had an omelette that was good. Reasonable prices. People go where they’re invited and return where welcomed. Didn’t feel very welcome! Oh yea, if you don’t know much time to get to the airport, don’t stop here. Slow!!!

Was in town for work and staying at the hotel next door. After reading some Unilocal reviews, I decided to give it a shot. Wow, it did NOT disappoint. I sat at the counter and had Cory as my server. He gave me some recommendations for an entrée and dessert. The Big Island Bird was tasty and the peach pie a la mode… Ohhh man. I’m definitely going to keep their place in mind the next time I’m in town! For the record, it takes A LOT for me to give 5 stars. This place certainly came close!

Great place! The food is amazing with some unique items such as the southwestern corn cake pancakes and banana bread French toast. The wait staff are friendly and attentive. The price is good. Just over $ 40 for a family of four(two kids meals – which come with crispy tater tots!) and we all ate well. My only negative mark is for the ladies restroom. The toilet seats all slide around like they are about to fall off and it could use a real deep cleaning, but I’ve been in much worse. I have not visited the bar side, so I can’t comment on it, and we’ve also only come for breakfast, but I highly recommend the restaurant overall.

After flights delays and annoyance traveling from Chicago my wife and I stopped in desperate for a feel good moment. The food we ordered looked and tasted okay but the service was horrible. No side on my wife’s meal, no check backs and no desire to service the customer. I love diners but I will not be stopping by here again.

If you’re staying in the DIA hotel compound zone, Moonlight Diner is a great place to hang out. The old-time diner interior, complete with retro ads, is adorable. We didn’t go into the bar and the adjacent patio, but it looked like a great space. The servers are exceptionally nice(and also handsome). Our server offered to send me home with a Diet Coke refill… I mean, who does that? Prices were reasonable considering the huge portions. Minus a star for the dirty, sticky booths and the abundant fly population, sadly. The food: my daughter ordered the enormous Big Island Bird sandwich. I totally recommend this! It’s a big fried chicken breast all decked out with ham, pineapple, gooey Swiss cheese, and Teriyaki sauce. My husband ordered the Buffalo chicken wrap, which was very spicy and delicious. He also had a cup of green chili, which was too salty but was otherwise fantastic, and an excellent chocolate shake. Unfortunately, my fish and chips were not good. The fish wasn’t cooked long enough and they didn’t salt it after frying, so it was chewy, flavorless, and kind of greasy. The cole slaw was pretty terrible too. Great fries though, although they have cheap generic ketchup on the tables.

This place is decently located, I think they try to catch travelers on their way to and from the airport. The food here was average, the staff were friendly. I watched them clean a table with a dirty rag from a bucket full of brown water, uh, I think it’s time to change the water. There were a lot of flies, it wasn’t too clean, the utensils were still dirty, and the place smelled like old water. We probably won’t come back here, it wasn’t that great and besides, there’s a Wendy’s up the street, if that says anything.

This is an A-OK place to come for a decent breakfast. They have all the staples of a classic greasy spoon, and they do those staples well. I came here with a group a few weeks ago, and most of us ordered some iteration of eggs, sausage/bacon, hash browns, and pancakes, including myself. I thought my meal was solid — everything was cooked exactly how I would expect it, but it wasn’t anything special. A couple people in my party ordered egg white omelettes and didn’t like them very much. They were very watery(like, sitting in a puddle of water) and did not look good to me at all. That said, the regular eggs were delicious and I would order my meal again if I ever came back. The service was… just okay. I understand that it’s difficult to serve a large group of people, but 20 minutes just to get a cup of coffee is tough, especially first thing in the morning! The waitresses were very polite and very friendly; just slow. That said, all our orders were correct and there were no mistakes on the checks, so I suppose it’s worth it to have slow servers if they do everything right the first time!

Not the place to visit when you’re in a hurry. Servers are nice but not enough of them to handle the diners. After finishing my meal, I waited 15 minutes for someone to ask if I needed anything else or wanted the check. The food is okay.

A classic diner(including the building style) close to the Denver airport. The breakfast food looked good, but I went with country fried steak and potatoes. Very nice. And the tomato basil soup was outstanding and worth the trip alone. I recommend stopping here after landing or before leaving — the prices are decent for the amount and quality of food.

Where’s the beef? Ordered the Moonlight breakfast for $ 6 Guess I scanned the description of this breakfast too fast as it contained no meat. Just toast(pancakes optional), two eggs, and hash browns. Kinda hard to review this place from what I ordered as the eggs and hash browns were exactly the same as any other diner. The toast however was thicker and more flavorful than expected and buttered just right. Unfortunatly the eggs were easy though I ordered over medium. My waitress acted as if she would rather be doing anything else but working here, which killed the warm friendly 50’s atmosphere other Unilocalers mentioned… unless she was really into character and was playing the grumpy old wise crackin’ diner waitress… but that is doubtful. It was nothing to write home about. The prices were all airporty(really high).
