I am giving it a three because the food was good. Other than that out night was horrible. We arrived a bit early for 745 reservation and had to wait over a half hour. We were then seated only to be told they sat us by accident. Instead of arguing we agreed to wait for another table. About 15 minutes later we were seated at what I would say is the worst table in the restaurant. Next to the kitchen and in an alcove where you can hear everyone else’s conversations. Not the restaurants fault but we were seated next to a large party of people that made it almost impossible to hear anything. Our waitress was nice, but unfortunately our order took to long to come out and things were wrong. If you’re looking for a quiet meal this is not the place to go.

I was looking forward to my planned Mother’s Day lunch here with family. We asked for a table inside but it was not available. Then, we were walked to a table outside right under the beaming hot sun(where were my glasses and hat when I needed them the most?!?) but asked to move because it was to hot. So we were moved to a table outside, in the back. However, this was almost just as bad as the other table. They had these light bulbs that gave off this strong heat. Why do the have lights that give off heat in the heat outside??? Anyway, the person who walked us to this table and assist with seating seemed to have been a Manager and/or owner. He was not so friendly and easily got annoyed of us. The food was alright, not better than I expected.

We have been to this place a couple of times and we like it a lot. It’s a bit pricey, however the food is great and the drinks are outstanding. Some of the best drinks in Delray in my opinion. I would recommend coming for happy hour and having some drinks and appetizers! I love to sit and the bar and watch them make the drinks, they really do take their time and make them amazing.

I had been meaning to check them out for a while so inward stoked when the folks in my group mentioned we were headed here after having a drink close by. Basically it’s a house that’s been converted to a restaurant/bar. This concept will never get old for me. I love it. They make craft cocktails here — but you can get your basics of course. I went with an airplane. It was good… but I think craft cocktails might not be my jam. I’ve been trying to get into it and I can’t seem to find one that blows me away. We had arrived during happy hour — and they even mentioned it was happy hour, but they ended up charging me full price for the cocktails. By the time I realized it I was already a few blocks away and decided to eat the cost. The server also messed up the bills and had various items mixed up — I got things from someone else’s bill and vice versa. He seemed bothered when we pointed out the mistakes and asked him to fix them. These issues are mainly why it goes from a 4 star experience — down to a 3 star. We also got some bites. I didn’t get them but the fried oyster tacos were a big hit with the table. I got the meat and cheese board which was nice and the pork cheek empanadas which were also really good. They have a nice menu of small bites to nibble on while sipping. Also snagged some of the avocado hummus — best way to describe it is a fancy/Mediterranean guac. Overall it’s a cool spot for a drink/small bite.

We got there around 7pm on a Wednesday night. The inside was full so we had to be seated outside. The menu was not very big but the items they had seemed very interesting and different. We ordered the pork cheek empanadas, oyster tacos, Korean bbq lamb ribs and the octopus anticucho. For the price I felt like the food could have been better. To me it was just average. The staff was very friendly but I probably will not go there again.

Really wanted to love this place but… First let me say that we visited Max’s harvest, which is the same owner, and loved it. We figured that we would feel the same about soho. On a positive note, the place is very trendy. We love the décor and the vibe. We first walked in and the host guy was extremely nice and accommodated us outside where we requested. Server was nice, nothing to write home about, but she was pleasant. Service was extremely slow. Server came out to apologize for the amount of time it took for our food and we hadn’t even complained yet. Food was good but not great. French fries were awesome tho. Orders the burger medium and it came out medium well. Avocado hummus was good. Overall I gave 3 stars because food was average. This was our first time so maybe we just didn’t order the right food.

Look for SOHO, not«Max’s Social House» as I did. I was driving around in circles confused as to where it could be. Parking is a bit of a nightmare here on most evenings. Street parking is almost always taken up and there is no valet. On the upside — the staff is great. The bartender in the front is extremely friendly and attentive and the bartender in the back can make any drink you like. He’ll even suggest something you may like better and have never tried! I didn’t try the food, but the menu looked good!

What a cool place. Casual outdoor or indoor setting. Friendly service, great craft cocktails — and some pretty good food. Especially the Lamb ribs… If this place has an ever changing menu like Max’s Harvest — this will be a usual spot for sure.

Rude aggressive hostess, and quick to fight without listening to customers’ needs. I’m a low maintenance person and understand when things get busy it can get a little hectic, especially in Delray, but at the same time, there’s no reason to mess up a reservation and then blame us for it. I never received such unprofessional treatment from someone who’s supposed to be in the service industry. That’s an embarrassing representation of the Max’s «empire.» Sure they may do nothing about it right now, but when people stop coming and instead go to the next trendy place, and they’re wondering why, look no further than who’s greeting you at the front door.

Authentic, craftsman cuisine brimming with originality, exceptional service, a well stocked bar and top-drawer bartenders and intimate atmosphere are the hallmarks of this, the best of Max’s restaurants. I’ve had many amazing dishes here, and the menu is constantly evolving so there are always new surprises. Latest: Muenster fondue with pretzel and a smoky tomato-bacon tapenade. The octopus and the Brussels sprouts, in whatever incarnation, will blow your mind. If you are lucky enough to be served by Heather, you will find hospitality at its best.

Had the Fried Oyster Taco and the Drive Thru Burger on the HH menu and the burger is amazing. It’s so simple but so fresh tasting. The Taco was great, simple and fresh and the guy next to me just ordered one. It was delicious and after ordering a Mule which was also awesome, it was the perfect pair. We sat at the outside bar and I didn’t even know it existed. It was quiet and secluded. I would recommend to people to want to have a chill night in the ave.

High expectations of service and drinks not met. The food however was delicious. I ordered a drink from the menu on their website– katie(server) said we don’t have it so I ordered st Germaine & prosecco– no ice, completely flat– terrible drink. I took it to the bartender who was very accommodating & made a new drink(not great but a for effort. I was with a table of about 10 people– the server accidentally gave 620s as change for a $ 100 my friend gave her. My friend gave her back the extra 20– as repayment Katie did not give me the $ 5 change from my $ 55 hamburger & below average drink. An undeserved %20 was already added and she decided to keep the extra $ 5 for good service she never delivered. Won’t be back.

This place is a gem and mostly because of Keith, a supreme mixologist. Give him an idea of the cocktail you would like and watch him go to town. I have never been disappointed. The menu is also impressive with chicken liver toast, bone marrow, short ribs and more. The atmosphere is great as well. off the main drag so at this point you can still find a bar stool on Friday night, but I fear that won’t be true for much longer. If you are a fan of DaDas but would enjoy some creativity behind the bar, come visit Keith at the Social House

Finally checked out Max’s Social House(SOHO) for the first time last night. I went with my department from my company. I can say I’m definitely fan after this. A long time ago, I went to this cottage structure, built originally in 1925 apparently, when it was known as the Falcon House. One of the charms of SOHO is the way the owners took this building and kept the feel intact while adding their quaint, gastronomical pub feel. The bar are is a cool spot to grab drinks and happy hours as well with its dark wooden design, and wonderful display of different spirits. The food is quite yummy as well. I sampled the Bone Marrow with potato latkes and their oxtail marmalade, which was spot on. But the real grand slam was the pork cheek empanadas. That alone is worth going back repeatedly. I also had one of their handcrafted cocktails named«My Name is Buck» — If you’ve watched KIll Bill, you’ll get the reference. Very, very good. The only thing you have to keep in mind is that if you don’t want to park valet in the back, you have to be aware of where you can park. Street parking up 6th(US1 North) and 5th(US1 South) as well as on 1st Street is available. There’s also public lots off of 7th I think as well as before Atlantic going up 6th(right before Mellow Mushroom). Overall, I’m very pleased with my first outing at SOHO. Great location to chill out, enjoy good drinks and food with good people.

Brunch my favorite meal! One of my favorite brunch places is maxs harvest so I figured to check out max’s social house for a change since it’s the same ownership. There was no issue getting a table and we had a nice seat outside with a covering from the hot sun. We had great service. We both opted for unlimited mimosas and they had different juice options you could switch between(orange, pineapple, pomegranate, and cranberry?) Per our servers recommdation me and my friend split the breakfast flatbread. We both really liked this. It was delicious and a good size to share or if your not super starved for one persons meal. We then shared the smoked salmon plate and a side of biscuits. The smoked salmon plate has two eggs two latkes and smoked salmon. The latkes were really crispy and perfect and you can’t go wrong with smoked salmon. The biscuits were amazing and came with some Jam and honey. After eating we stayed back chatting and chatting and our server was really awesome about refilling our mims. I would definitely go back for a relaxing low key brunch at max’s soho again.
