Duffy’s Sports Grill of Delray Beach

Duffy’s is my favorite restaurant to hang out with friends. I usually frequent the Boynton Beach Location. Tonight I invited 3 couples to join us in Delray location. A friend ordered a Gummy Bear Martini, she was told buy one get one free. She asked the price and was told $ 12. The martini came and was a murky brown not green as in the photo? (She was charged $ 14) Meals were good but one person did not get what she ordered. She asked for a cheese burger with pickles and got a burger. She asked the waitress for a slice of cheese and pickles and never received it. She also got the wrong fries. A desert menu was requested and never received. I asked the hostess to send the manager to the table and we waited 20 minutes and then left. Horrible Customer Service! I will stick with my local Duffy’s from now on!

I have always enjoyed the food at Duffy’s. I usually go to the one on Boynton Beach Blvd but was in the area and went here. I was warned that the service at this location is very slow. Unfortunately those warnings were correct.
Otherwise, the food was fine… salads, burgers, drinks etc. After all, it is Duffy’s.

Terrible is all I can say. I had the buffalo chicken salad and hot beer. Chicken on the salad was cold and the beer was hot. I will not return.

Had a burnt burnt burger but the management responded to my concern promptly. Other than that food and service is good. The deals are great. Very happy with the customer service response. Best management I’ve experience in a long time. Thank u Duffy’s for your response!

Why do I torture myself?
It must be the simple menu with some very reasonable choices. My wife and I both had the half rack of ribs with a side of fries for $ 9.95
You can’t beat that.
However, the service was terrible. The waitress took forever to come over and take our drink order. Never checked back during the meal. Brought the check before the second drink from the 2 for 1 special.
My biggest complaint is their all-​day happy hour. That’s a load of crock. Don’t sell me a $ 10 drink with barely a trace of alcohol. I doubt my blood alcohol level was ever over a 0.01. The drinks alone cost more than the entrée and weren’t even made well.
Overall, Duffys is overrated. Glitzy on the outside. Disappointing on the inside.

Food consistently good. Service consistently bad. Inattentive servers, drinks not refilled, effort just to get silverware/​straws/​sugar, disappearing waitrons (especially when we want to get the check), no offers of help from other servers when we are clearly looking around for our waitress, stuff like that. Sounds small, but it really adds up to make a frustrating dining experience.

Had wiener schnitzel, very good, grilled zucchini also very good. Spaetzle not good at all. Barely recognizable was more like corn! Shrimp in the basket was good, add well as salad. Good choice of wine and beer, we enjoyed both!

Overpaid for an ok meal that took forever to come out. One meal was 20 minutes later than the rest, good thing I have a patient child. Don’t recommend.

Had an opportunity to return to Duffys to see if they could redeem themselves. Was here on a busy Tuesday. Was seated in approximately 5 minutes. Morgan was our server and she was very helpful. My mother is allergic to shellfish and Morgan made sure to check that her fish dish was not cooked anywhere near the shellfish in the kitchen and helped accommodate the meal with a grilled option. Having just come from the gym, I was very thirsty and Morgan was quite helpful in providing me with multiple glasses of water and not just a simple refill. She has a great disposition about her and made the meal very pleasant.
I ordered the taco salad– it was delicious and fresh. Mom got grilled cod with green beans and zucchini. The zucchini was «terrific».
I’m glad to have had such a great experience this time around, and will surely be back!

Like most Duffy’s, not a great experience. Took a while to order drinks at the bar that smelled like a frat house (stale beer). Our waitress once seated was friendly, though not very attentive. Ordered an appetizer. Appetizers are appetizers because they proceed the main course… Out chicken wings were delivered After all the entrees. This happens to be my #1 pet peeve of any restaurant. If you can’t figure out how to bring an appetizer out first — just don’t bring it at all. I sent it away, which the server was kind of annoyed by. At least she didn’t charge me for it. Wasn’t really any apologies made, but whatever. As for the food we did eat? Pasta undercooked and the rest of it was cold. Sadly I wasn’t surprised. The manager however, did give us a cookie to split for free. At least she made some sort of effort.
I keep giving Duffy’s chances, and I have no idea why. In the 5 – 6 times I’ve been — it hasn’t gone well once.

Tonight we had dinner at Duffy’s. It was a great experience thanks to two particular people. I would like to recognize Brooklyn and Vince for fantastic customer service. Vince and Brooklyn handled an inconvenient situation like professionals and were very polite and overall we had a fantastic experience. We will definitely come back.

My girlfriend and I decided to have a «wing» night one night, so we checked out Unilocal for suggestions and decided on Duffy’s based on the fact that they are pretty consistent. Unfortunately, this particular time, they fell a little short. We ordered take out, 1 order of medium wings and 1 order of BBQ. They looked and smelled great, but once we started eating, we noticed several of them had large pink areas inside which kind of grossed us out… they just didn’t seem cooked all the way. I’m no wing expert, but we figured it was better to be safe than sorry. We did our best to pick through the good ones, but overall we were fairly disappointed.
Besides the actual food, everything else was good. The girl who took my order was very friendly both over the phone and in person. The food was ready quick… perhaps a little too quick? But in any case, I didn’t have to wait long, which is always nice.
Overall, I would still give it another chance. Duffy’s has always been consistent. You know what you’re getting when you order… next time I probably just won’t order the wings.

I have been to this restaurant several times in the last couple years. I have never had any major problems and only great service.
This is a good sports bar with many TVs in every direction. They have a huge selection of food choices.
Today it took awhile to get our beers when we first sat down but no issues after that. I ordered the chicken nachos and could tell that it must have sat for a while. It also didn’t look like the picture on the menu… a little messy in presentation.
Wings were great!

Always a fan of Duffys. Food has improved over the years, both in quality and diversity. Two for one drinks all day, every day and the point system definitely make it a great value play especially on Sundays. Went for the Mayweather fight and had to pay a cover which I think is so dumb, but I understand it helps with freeloaders. My fiancé who has always been a Duffys naysayer enjoyed her Mac & Cheese Burger. I haven’t had anything that I’ve ever disliked. Wings are fine, Korean beef tacos are very good, chimachuria chicken is also really good. Rodeo burger was a go to for a while, and the Cobb Salad is also surprisingly good. Highly recommend Duffys for any sporting event. All Duffys seem to have been recently upgraded, and seem cleaner as well. Only thing I would recommend upgrading at this location would be the size of the televisions.

I love the Duffy’s chain first and foremost. This is an old steakhouse chain transformed into a Duffy’s. Everything about this place is great except one thing. I don’t mean to complain but if I ran this location I would bleach this place from top to bottom at least once a week. It has a certain smell to it.

I do not eat here. Came in with team for a beer. Food is mediocre fried frozen bar food in my opinon. Its good for older Delray community who can’t tell fresh food from frozen. They may have some meats that aren’t frozen. Its a busy place lots of tvs crowd consists of cemetary village and other 50+ communities. If you come for a game and beer its a fine place to go.

We come here often because of Elise.
We started with her in Deerfield Beach Florida. she has since transfered to Delray Beach and so did we. That says it all.

I have a new favorite menu item at Duffy’s, and it’s going to shock you. At this ubiquitous sports bar, my new favorite thing is… A salad.
I know. I’m as shocked as you are.
The Cobb Salad with Chilled Chicken Breast (crisp greens, avocado, crumbled blue cheese, vine ripe tomato, chopped bacon, hard boiled egg) is great! It’s so good, you almost forget that you’re eating a salad! Especially when you get the avocado ranch dressing! And even more especially when you go there with a vegetarian and she let you have her bacon!

I drove 100 miles round trip to eat at this Duffy’s! Was it the ribs? The lobster roll? The drink selection? Nope… out of town friend had a long, late night layover, so Duffy’s of Delray it was!
We got there about an hour before closing and were promptly seated. The inside was very loud (hey, it’s a sports bar!) but outside seating is available. We opted for inside as they were so close to closing up for the night.
Waters were promptly brought as we perused the menu. We started with the tuna app — barely seared, pepper crusted tuna with a side of sesame noodles. Surprisingly fresh and delicious!
Larry S. and Friend opted for the lobster roll. Larry’s came with fries and Friend ordered broccoli. The fries were excellent and the broccoli was pathetic, but that’s what you get when you order broccoli at a sports bar. I had the blackened Mahi sandwich with a side salad. The salad was actually nice, garnished with croutons and cheese. I opted for avocado ranch dressing and it was delicious. I sampled some of Larry’s lobster roll and really enjoyed that as well — huge chunks of lobster with a small amount of mayo holding it all together. Friend had had a lobster roll elsewhere for lunch and said the one from Duffy’s was «different, but still very good»
The service was fast and friendly, especially given that late hour.
