I really wanted to like Anthony’s. The giant Italian salad, the broccoli rabe w/o the sausage, and the free sample of the famed chicken wings. The great and friendly service. But these are not the reasons why people come here. This place is all about the pizza. And it was the pizza where I felt they stumbled. The pizza just simply lacked the flavor great pizza is supposed to have. Their competition, Tucci’s, in Boca makes a similar looking pizza. There, the flavor was undeniable. In short, I felt Anthony’s pizza tasted bland, although beautifully presented. A wonderful place to bring the family, nonetheless. But I was underwhelmed by the pizza.

One of the worst experiences in dining. When you walk in the bar has an extreme stink of rotting drainage. My kids were so bothered by the smell I had to have us moved outside. I also let the manager know why and that they should professionally clean the issue. Meanwhile, then we had a problem being seated where the hostess then said the only table was for 9(however I only counted 6 chairs and our party was for 5.) By this point our kid was crying so we just left. One the way out the chef came out to see if he could help our kid not be upset, that was a nice gesture. We will just be eating at Scuola Vecchia for our wood fired pizza which does not stink.

Great pizza spot in Delray! It’s just off the ave so it’s not as hectic. They also have a really nice outdoor seating area. As for the pizza? It’s some good stuff. It’s coal fired, so the crust does get singed in spots for sure. I greatly prefer this place over mellow mushroom down the St.(yes I’ve tried their specialty pizzas — not impressed) ask for meatballs on your pizza! It’s not a menu option but they’ll do it.

Okay okay… so, being from NJ/NY we are big pizza lovers. But, they did a great job honoring that! Our bartender JENNA was great super nice and very into our experience! We sat at the bar as usual and our whole meal was great. Towards the end there we people at the end of the bar who were very rude to us. The whole staff and Managment handled the situation perfectly! Cheers to a wonderful place with good people working on staff! Will go again!

Never consistent re: food quality. Sometimes it’s excellent other visits inedible. Great chicken wings normally, yet, you must request amount of seasonings.

Hands down… BEST pizza I’ve ever had in my life. I’m not exaggerating either. The best I’ve tried is the Ron & Young Paul with hot peppers. The eggplant Parmesan was amazing. The absolute must have no matter what, are the wings! I’ve been so impressed with Anthony’s that every time I stay in Boynton Beach, I eat there at lest 50% of my dinners!

After visiting this restaurant several times to pick up lunch for the office, we found we really enjoy Anthony’s. When you call in to place a pick up order you may get put on hold but it is not a long wait and the gracious staff get back to you promptly to place your order. The location is perfect. They have their own parking lot in the back. They have an outside patio which is very nice and the dining area has a comfortable setting with plenty pictures, wood tones throughout and pretty brick. For lunch we tend to get their amazing salad which comes with a side of meatballs, tuna, and a few other options. I usually get the meatballs. The meatballs come in a pack of two good sized balls with a lovely marinara sauce and a slice of bread for dipping into the awesome sauce. The classic Italian salad is always fresh, packed with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, olives, and gorgonzola with a delicious dressing. LOVE this salad and if you get the large it is enough for two meals. Our orders are always correct, never no mistakes and the service is top notch. Great place for lunch and dinner. Looking forward to trying their eggplant which I recently noticed on their menu. When we picked up lunch the other day we saw signs for happy hour at their bar and buckets of meatballs. Now that looks interesting. Great location, good food in a lovely casual fun setting.

Been to Anthony’s many times. Was even at this location a couple of years ago when I was here in Florida for a wedding and short vacation. Love the meatballs, best dish at Anthony’s. But the wings are great too!

Don’t eat here on Saturdays. Inside restaurant is total chaos. Outside has car traffic and smokers on the sidewalk. 45 minutes for a table. 75 minutes for the pizza to arrive — which was burnt, doughy, and not very hot. Service was terrible. Anthony’s: don’t bother replying. We are not local and will never come back.

Pizza is good but the menu is so limited. There’s really not much else to order. I had their meatballs and hot peppers which was ok. This place is good for kids and families for pizza night There doesn’t seem to be any parking. I assume you have to park on the street. Unfortunately there’s not much to say about this place

Started the a Bloody Mary and a Peroni draft. The Bloody Mary was fair. We have to remember this is more of a beer and wine place. Not that great for regular mixed drinks. Only the martinis are good. They have started having«rotating» drafts many from local breweries. Nice addition. You can try a sampler flight of four for ten dollars. We tried a free taste of the Funky Buddah Fuhgeddaboudit Red Ale. Has carmel undertones wasn’t bad. The small salad is perfect for two. We ordered the large Paul and Young Ron with ½ hot and ½ sweet peppers. It was good but for my taste the crust could have been done a little longer and darker. One other point I would like to make is it is always«noisy» so if you want quiet and intimate this is not the place. I personally don’t mind the chatter.

Ley me state that I’m kit a huge pizza fan or lest just say that my idea of dinner out is NOT a pizza. That’s more like a night in. Now that I’ve gotten that out of the way, I will go on to say that I have visited this place 3 times and two were not by choice. Well I will be honest now I am a fan. We usually go out in a group of at least 6 and order Pizza which is honestly delicious. The salad is fresh and not drenched in dressings which makes that lettuce nice and crispy .we order their wings which are there own recipe and I love the cameralized onions on them along with their bread. The meatballs are delicious and taste home made and guess what you even get to take the pot home. Overall it’s a good dining experience, fun and casual if that’s what you’re looking for. So I say if you like pizza(or not as much) still give this place I try, I don’t think you will be disappointed.
