Favorite bagel place back in high school. Used to stop here on Saturday mornings after runs. Nothing particularly special or fancy about bagel street café, but certainly a decent place for a bagel with cream cheese

I was looking for a quiet spot to have a cup of coffee and a bagel at on a Sunday afternoon. I came at 2 p.m. and they were already moving chairs and tables around and mopping the floors. They asked me if I wanted cheese on my bagel and I said sure. It was my first time there, and I was thinking that it came with. Come to find out they added on almost an extra dollar. When I asked about it they just made it seem like it was to their benefit to ask without bothering to talk about the extra charge. Okay? I just shrugged my shoulders and poured myself a cup of coffee. I I continued to sit in the restaurant and an employee was hanging out in a preferred seat, listening to her music really loud. So I ask her are you guys closing right now? She said oh no not until 3 p.m. Could have fooled me! I’ve been had to wait so that I could actually have a quieter spot. Understand it is an in-and-out kind of place more casual but I would have had a little more respect maybe even at Starbucks, which I avoid because of the busyness. I’m not sure if I’ll be back though the food itself was really delicious.

This is the 3rd time I’ve been there this week and this is the 3rd time they have messed up my order this week. The Mexican guy who wears his hat backwards is always being rude and making smart ass remarks towards me. Horrible service will never be going back.

I had the best bagel here today! It was a whole wheat bagel with sun dried tomato cream cheese and my friend got a whole wheat bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon. She really enjoyed hers as well. We were well taken care of and the tall guy working was so nice! He has great customer service! I will get all mt bagels here from now on.

I love bagels and when I discovered this place, I was in love. I love the varieties of different bagels they have. The only negative thing I have is that I enjoy the breakfast bagels and I can’t used the stamp card. Apparently its only good if your purchase the sandwiches bagels which I believe sucks because I buy a lot of breakfast bagels there. But maybe this could be something that be added within the year.

If the Asian lady is still the manager or owner — take note. There are several new good restaurants coming to Danville. Which will give you some competition. The attitude of all of the employees need to be improved. I have been buying takeout quiches muffins and other good food at The Bagel Street Café for about 15 years and I truly like their food. The kitchen and the preparation counter need to be cleaner. I have never had a serious problem with the place, but there are some things that need to be improved.

Fresh bagels. Bagels are not my favorite, but I love the ones made here. The lattes & capuccinos are made perfectly.

Been going here for many years and bagel street never disappoints. Bagel breakfast sandwiches are on point and the coffee is good and strong. Also the workers are hilarious.

Was I dreaming or did the man taking my money call me, «mama-cita» and«mi-amor?!» And if I’m not mistaken, did he also use the same phrases with the male customer behind me! LOL Love the sense of humor, love the bagels, love the whole vibe. Do your thing bagel street, do your thing…

I can’t help but get bagels here once in a while with my husband BUT we tend to almost always complain about the food in the end. They’re not at all careful with the orders; always adding something from one that the other didn’t want(ie: one with sprouts, one without. We come home and both or neither have sprouts). They offer a customer card, which allows you to get 1 free bagel on your 10th bagel purchase. The workers aren’t friendly at all either. They seem annoyed and as if they’re doing you a favor. Its a cozy place. Really warm and quiet inside and a nice little area outside. It’s also right around a bunch of cute little shops, ice cream shop(s) etc. I would definitely give it a try though.

I have been to many bagel cafes around the world, and this one in particular is the absolute best. You simply cannot get better. The food and espresso quality, the homie wooden atmosphere, and especially the great friendly staff priviing exceptional service. ESPECIALLY Chilango(the big guy with the«security» hat), he alone definitely makes the experience, everyone loves him. I always get a garlic bagel(or a bialy double toasted) with jalapeño cream cheese and sliced tomato, and a double espresso. If ever in the Danville/Walnut Creek/San Ramon area of east bay San Francisco, definitely stop by The Livery in Danville, you wont be disappointed. This is not the same experience for every Bagel St Café!!!

Ok bagel shop… nothing outstanding. Service can be a bit slow. Sandwiches are decent. Bagels okay. Pony-tail guy has a weird brand of humor that is easily taken as rudeness. There’s probably a lot of room for improvement, but I have low expectations when it comes to grabbing a bagel, so 3 stars for BSC.

Generous with the cream cheese on their bagels. I had the sea salt bagel and it was yummy. My friends had the onion bagel and we all had coffee drinks. Excellent coffee and friendly staff.

I love Bagel Street and used to come here all the time in high school but they must’ve hired some new kids or something because the service here has gotten ridiculous and awful. Ordered with the small Asian girl who messed up my food. Asked for a asiago bagel with sun dried tomato cream cheese and she gave us plain cream cheese. Wouldn’t have been so bad but we drove all the way home and then had to drive all the way back to correct it. She had no look of remorse and threw out a last minute«sorry» as she tossed the correct bagel to us over the counter. The week before this, they gave my boyfriend a Salt bagel instead of a garlic bagel. He didn’t go back to the store to exchange because he’s not as picky as me, but seriously, who eat’s a Salt Bagel? It was covered in salt! That’s just gross. Good selection of juices and cold drinks as well as coffee and stuff.

Best bagels ever! 4.5 stars! This is the place to go for grab-n-go breakfast! They have over 10+ choices of bagels, and 2+ different kinds of crème cheese. My usual is a classic plain bagel with lite regular crème cheese with a small OJ. The other great thing about this place is that it’s great for groups. One time I had my birthday breakfast here, and there was enough room so all my friends could sit with me. The only thing I don’t like about this place is that they put too much cream cheese on your bagel. I mean, i like a lot of cream cheese but they put on way too much. That’s why this place gets 4 stars, but it’s still a great buy!

I have to say that I am an all around fan of the Bagel Street Café franchise thing. I have only been to two and so far I have been very happy. This one is close to the office and very large inside. It also has very nice outdoor seating, which I didn’t use but liked the idea. I like the decorating to. Its very cozy and warm inside with beautiful art on the walls. I went in around 11:00am. Before the lunch rush I’m assuming. The smell of the bagels was so overwhelming I almost went with my go to roast beef sandwich, but I didn’t. Trying to cut the carbs here people. I’m trying to eat lighter fair these days so I checked out the premade salads. They had three options, Asian Chicken Salad, Mixed Salad, and a tiny little Garden Salad. I went with the Asian. A very nice sized salad with nice sized strips of Chicken, large Tomato slices and some Cucumber slices. All for less than $ 6. What I really liked best was they weren’t skimpy with the dressing. They had two mini tubs of dressing instead of just one like you would find with other places premade salads. The only thing is watch out. This dressing was spicy. What is with spicy? You can breath clearer and have a runny nose all at the same time. I worked through it and really enjoyed my salad as a matter of fact. One day when I’m letting myself be free with my carbs Ill go get a sandwich. For right now though Im sticking to the salads. This place has em’ and at a decent price to.
