Winstons Supperclub

Came here for NYE! It’s a small area but the music was good. Once people showed up, the party got started. My friend and I got earlt because we took a taxi. This guy (seemed like manager) he was average height, white, straight slick hair was extremely nice and cool. My friend was so drunk and needed to sit down, he was kind enough to give us a spot to sit (because literally no spots to sit if you’re not VIP or have a booth). Also, he was so overall really cool. If he was the manager, great. He treats guests good (:
Idk if Id be back it was really small. But people were nice. No creepy guys touchy grabby on you.

This place is AWESOME! Absolutely fantastic time! The wait staff is on point… The DJ’s are incredible and the party DOES NOT STOP! If you’re looking for a great place to party and dance… GET HERE!

Winston Super Club was a bit of a scenery game changer for me (considering the fact that I prefer boots over heels) but, what the BestFriend wants she gets. I paid for her bottle service at their best vip section for her present plus other secret things. Upon arriving the bouncers look very well presentable (especially one named Johny), although we had put everyone on the guest list, the men still had to pay. Once everyone had finally gone through security gate, we were escorted to our table by a great staff member who was without question very sweet. He cleared the way so no one could bump into us and called our cocktail waitress. Here is when things start to go a bit south. Bringing the bottles with flashing lights seemed to please my BestFriend so I was happy. After that however, we told her to go get something 4 times throughout an hour time frame, and she kept saying «I sent for one, did they not come»? By all means the first couple of times I understood but, third strike and your out. The service we requested (which is a separate company from Winston), finally came to our table. I kindly dismissed them for we were no longer interested. There was a bouncer bellow our section and I kindly asked him if he could help me up and down the stairs throughout the night due to a sprain on my left cartilage. Without asking for anything he said yes, so at the end I tipped him 20 $. Overall it was a good time, minus our bottle service.

I been here before on Saturdays it’s a fun place but this lastime the staff at the door treated me and my friends horrible we were standing waiting for God knows what while they let the people they wanted in first, I mean if it’s the money I have no issue with that but they really need to do something about that staff because I changed my mind about booking my party here I don’t want my guests to have a bad experience I’ll just go spend my money somewhere else.

People there are ghetto and ratchet. There was an expensive cover for a random celebrity there that we’d never even heard of. The music was pretty much all hip-​hop. We had to get our car valeted because that’s all they had.

Every time I come to Winstons, the experience just gets better and better… Hands down the best place in Dallas to party & have a good time!

This IS the spot for hip hop FRIDAYS…$ 20 cover… a lil pricey after 11 but worth it. It’s 2:03 am and we STILL partying. I’ll be back.

Winston, has the right looks, it’s small and cozy. Unfortunately the owners and the management are very small minded as well. I can’t say they are bigots but there actions were certainly questionable. I had never felt blatant racial discrimination like this, especially in a business… They charged all the African American men $ 20 cover and most drinks to African Americans were also ⁴⁄₅ $ more than what the Caucasians or Hispanics were being charged. After watching for a while I approached the lady at the gate, who insulted me further by offering me a hug, after I called out the discrepancy. I talked to the owner, who said he had nothing to do with the cover charge… Finally I spoke to the bouncer who attempted and made things right by getting my refund. Of course after that I left and WILL NEVER BE BACK. These days you can vote with your $ and more. Folks read the reviews, very similar complaints about treatment towards to people of African Descent.

This place is racist and charging $ 20 cover if not a white person. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE!!! In addition to being a biggot establishment — drinks are weak, glasses are dirty and the dancers look like they hate life.

Some friends and I went here after dinner on a Friday night to celebrate. The DJ was decent but the drinks were terrible. I had just completed a detox for 90 days (no alcohol) and had 2 patrons and 3 mixed drinks then realized I was still completely sober. After speaking with one of the bouncers he said «yeah Friday is black night so the drinks are usually super watered down. Only get wine or drink before you come.» Thanks for the heads up but I would rather not patronize a business that’s dishonest.

So.. I’ve been to winstons a few times in the past and I’ve enjoyed all my visits. The club/​lounge is starting to get scarce in attendance. I went on a Saturday, and the“scene” is more of a Hispanic feel than «urban». I dig both. Would have liked to see more ppl there (of any race) so you don’t feel awkward dancing on an empty dance floor at midnight.

Cover I paid was 20 $… Geez… Online it says 10 $… DID NOT LIKE THAT… They have covered parking and it was free. The place is tiny… We were by the bar in the front and it was super hot… We later got invited to VIP where it was a lot cooler. I went on a Friday and they played hip hop. I did dance all night. Drinks were good… Don’t know price as i did not pay :-)… There was a lot of good looking people and a couple of stuck up men who acted to good to speak to you or even smile as I simply said hello as i was walking through the way to crowded establishment to the bathroom. Overall my friends and i had a good time… We were there to party and that was accomplished but I would not be returning nor do i recommend going there… Just way too tiny for me and 20 cover is ridiculous…

I usually do not do the club scene but it was my homeboys birthday so I checked out this spot with him. First thing is you do pay to get in which is a no brainer, but it is free for ladies before 11pm. Soon as you walk in you are at the bar. Mixed drinks like Crown and Coke are $ 11.00, beers are cheaper but still up there. The DJ was the highlight of the night because he played Top 40 hip hop the whole night until 1:00am then played old school Texas hip hop. Definitely did his thing. The owner was there too and he was cooler than the other side of a pillow LOL. My only compliant is that the establishment is very small. I mean you are literally on top of each other and the dance floor is even smaller. Over all if you are looking for a spot to dance and have a big group this would not be a bad spot to check out.

I would rather climb into a dumpster and hang out for a night then go to this place! First off it smells like complete ish! I don’t know if it was the nasty people who work there, the customers, or some black mold outbreak but the smell alone of this place will kill all your hopes of an enjoyable evening. Second off this place is in uptown yet it is really hood like don’t go here unless your trying to get robbed or something. The only logical reasoning to go to this place would be to rack up a $ 1000 tab on a couple bottles… and walk the check! ;) DO NOT GO here unless your gonna drink and dash!

This is a nice spot! I have been wanting to visit Winston’s for almost 2 years now and finally did on a Friday. My friend and I RSVP’d during the week and got there before 11 so we got in free, (nice!). First, I love all the funky cool décor. Red chandeliers, black and white striped booths, a deer bust with a gold chain, all make the atmosphere fun. They cater to those who want bottle service as there were plenty of booths for those who wanted to partake. There are also a couple chairs and seats for those without bottle service which is a welcome sight in a club. Second, the drinks were on point. The bartender at the main bar was funny and friendly and made my grey goose and sprite ($ 11) perfect. Yes its an easy drink but man, it tasted so smooth – the perfect ratio of liquor to soda. Third, the DJ was great. He played some old school hits and all of the top 40 hip hop out right now. A really talented go go dancer performed on stage behind his booth. Last, the location is great. Easy to get to and plenty of parking in the Centrum garage. Don’t worry about valet unless you wanna show off :) Be sure to wear your highest heels and cutest club outfit here, they monitor the dress code at the door. It will get packed and hot but close to the door wasn’t as bad.

The reviews are very accurate. If you are about 24 or under, you will probably love this place. Those of us who are over 30, this isn’t the place for us. I don’t have anything bad to say about the place. It’s just one of those places where you walk in, look around and realize this isn’t your scene and probably hasn’t been in years.

I’m 30. I can’t deal with all the extra-​ness of going out anymore LOL, I have a baby and soon to be husband, so really the only thing I need is a stiff drink and good music and I’m cool. But when your celebrating friends birthdays, you kinda have to shove those feelings to the back of your old people closet and suck it up. I had fun at Winston’s. Granted, we split a table among 10 people at $ 20 per person, so we had bottle service and somewhere to sit, and tha’s good because that place gets packed SUPER FAST and it’s tiny. The DJ was really good on Friday, I don’t think I sat down once…
PROS: good music, parking garage, RSVP option before 11pm for ladies, after it’s $ 10-​$ 20 entry, cool décor
CONS: SUPER TINY… crowd seemed young at times, table was small, WHERE IS THE DANCE FLOOR??? (I just danced near our booth or on it all night lol)

Well, let me begin with some perspective: Coming from the Washington DC Metro area, I gotta say I was completely blown by the crowd; which was very classy and upscale. The décor was amazing, and the music was jumping. I paid $ 20 to get in… a first since I always knew people at the door in DC… but again, I am new here…
It cost me $ 10 to Valet… which is a good thing if you are used to the $ 20 where I came from… It was packed but not sardine-​packed like we are used to in the District… There was definitely plenty elbow room…
But this was the kicker for me: The women were sooo nice and polite. They spoke to you and did not brush you off when you offered a compliment… But then again, I was wearing a pretty powerful cologne and got stopped at least 10 times that night…
None-​the-​less, I still think the women were both alluring and fly… So far, in my three months of being here, Winstons tops my table… I will be there again for shizzy!!!

Great for young folks. I guess I am just over the club scene.

Not really my crowd. I was there on a Friday night; the crowd was very pretentious and it’s the type of crowd that likes to «pop bottles» and be seen. Music was ok — the usual ratchet twerk twerk twerk hip hop stuff that the 20 somethings like to listen to these days (Wow I sound old). $ 20 cover charge as well to get in. I’m used to that back home, in Atlanta. I pretty much refuse to pay $ 20 to get in a club in Dallas. No offense to Dallas, but I’m pretty much over that scene.
I will say the décor in the club is nice, but it’s hella crowded.
If I was 24 again, I’d probably be into this spot… but I’m not 24.
