This is a great place to grab a bite late night! Not only is it in a great location, but the atmosphere is cozy and the food is out of this world I love how flexible the menu is to modifications I order the Florentine Panini with the bourbon caramelized onions and the sweet potato fries with a side of basil mayo. Another great veggie option is the portobello burger made your way(there are so many options to choose from, you can order a different style every time you come in!) Also, try the root beer on tap, that’s an experience of its own!

Very good variety of options of burgers and ha sa kids menu. I really like coming here in summer to sit on the patio and have the cheap margaritas on Fridays. Sweet potato fries are to die for and I love their house Salad and light dressing. Makes me stay with my weight watchers pints easy.

Just moving to Uptown I have been meaning to explore as many places as I can. I had heard of VBB before but never had the time to pass by. I must say my life has been incomplete until now. The atmosphere is awesome, parking is hit or miss and it can get decently crowded by the looks of it. But the Blue Burger was to die for! And the price is just on point! Less than $ 10 for a perfect medium burger, with blue cheese, avocados and sweat potato fries. Cannot recommend this place enough, with a full bar and open until 2am it’s a must go to!

Dinner for two last night, with Village Burger Bar being my idea because of my previous good experiences and because it had been a while since I had eaten here… What happened, VBB? We both had the ‘Shoom Swiss burger cooked medium rare and medium respectively. Unfortunately, the burger patty had zero flavor, no hint of salt or pepper at all, and was greatly overcooked. We probably should have taken the lack of flavor and the rude and unwelcoming demeanor of the cashier working the front as a warning sign as we both got sick shortly after leaving. I really don’t foresee a return trip any time soon.

Came here after I was looking for a late night bite to eat on a Saturday. This place stays open till 2am and serves cocktails so it was a win for me. The burgers and fries were so yummy. I was craving something with blue cheese so I ordered the burger that comes with that and avocados. Needless to say, the burger was great. I asked for it in medium and it came out just right. The burgers range from about $ 6 – 10 but I found that most stayed right under $ 7. Fries and drinks are all extras so if you want that the price will go up. I found this place to be little gem in West Village. It stays open late, it gets a little crowded but there is outdoor seating, and the service was speedy and efficient.

A pretty decent burger. Fries were nice, nothing out of the ordinary. I got the southwest turkey burger, and it was pretty good. I paid 9 $ for burger and fries, but that’s cause I had a water.

Quick look rating: 4⁄5 Food & Quality, 5⁄5 Service, 5⁄5 Experience Burger in the middle of the night, hell yes, or something healthier it’s possible here, but having a great option is wonderful! Love this little place! Down to earth folks work here and it so helps bringing in down to earth folks. (To note: There have been times where, I have been gone for a long time fly fishing up in the mountains and I can only think about their fun french fries and a couple of their different sauce’s to dip.) Some great little salads on hand as well! When the weather is good, the outdoor porch is a fun place to check out! I will be back,(it’s just that good!)

Marking off another burger joint off my list! Heard good things about Village Burger so decided to check this place out. Came here with a couple buddies and I ordered the Blue Burger with truffle fries. Three things I rate when eating a burger: bun, meat, and the toppings. The brioche bun was lightly toasted and very soft! The meat didn’t have much flavor and was a bit overcooked but the bacon, avocados and blue cheese saved this burger. The bun and toppings were amazing but the meat a tad disappointing. The truffle fries was greasy but packed with flavor. Nothing out of the ordinary… Great place to grab some food with friends. Decent quality and fairly priced. Not the best burger that I had, but definitely worth checking out. This place also opens till 2AM on the weekend which is a WIN in my books!

Every once in a while I get this unexplainable insatiability for a frozen margarita. It doesn’t happen often but when it does no other drink can do. Walking by WV I see a lone man sucking one down. ‘Are they any good?’ I ask. Yes seem to have a kick and a good price. $ 3.25 Margarita Friday I am sold and order 2. They must have been good because 1.5 down the hatch I’m really trying to read a book but the lines become slanty and all of a sudden my attention span sparks like lightening bugs and I realize I’m in uptown eavesdropping an olé lady my Ma’s age who dresses hipper than anyone my age say ‘oh are yall outtie?’ I must be buzzed as her valley girl talk is now charming. This is uptown. Well I’m off to ransack the night now thanks to Margarita Friday lasts till 9pm. On another visit I enjoy a tasty well priced burger. Yikes so many choices and they are willing to work with your crazy demanding special orders. Yes. I could be the worst offender of the special order and they do it with ease and finesse. Totally delicious

I really enjoyed my lunch this afternoon at Village Burger Bar. After reading the various reviews, I was a little hesitant. However, our lunch was delicious. The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. We were lucky enough to snag a table on the patio. I ordered the Swiss shroom burger. I ordered it medium and made sure they classified medium as having a little pink in the center. While my burger was delicious, it was overcooked. My husband ordered the cheddar champagne burger and his was overcooked as well. We enjoyed the toppings to our burgers and the overall flavor of the meat. Even with it being overcooked, we still enjoyed our meal. My hubby and I shared a large order of truffle fries. It was delicious and a perfect portion to share for two people. Our lunch came to just under $ 20 for two burgers and fries. It was affordable lunch and I felt like we got good bang for our buck. Looking forward to coming back!

I got off work late last night craving a really good burger for the longest but I don’t eat beef anymore so I knew I had to find a place that made turkey burger. I heard about VBB and had been once(different location and too long along to review) and knew they offered a lot of selection of creative burgers. I drove up around midnight and found a parking spot right out front. I took a seat at the bar where I was the only one. The place wasn’t crowded at all. The counter top was dirty with crumbs which i wiped away unbothered just starving. The bartender approached me right away to take my order. I did the build your own burger(turkey burger, provolone cheese, avocado, tomato, mixed greens and mushrooms with basil mayo). I added sweet potato fries and the drink special was cherry limeade which

Great burger place tucked into west village of uptown! This place is great as its walking distance from our home. They have a great patio and good specials! I really prefer sitting at their bar, the staff is super friendly. I prefer the build your own burger, goat cheese, caramelized onions and basil mayo! Seriously, I could eat this every day with their sweet potato fries! I’ve heard people rave about the buffalo tenders and the shoe string fries too. But I prefer the sweet potato(which also comes with the option to be upgraded with cinnamon and more bad for you toppings haha but delicious) On Tuesdays they have a great special for Texas beers!

What can I say, I actually like Village Burger. I know that there’s a lot of burger competition in the Dallas area and it’s tough to stay afloat with so many new burger spots opening up, but Village Burger Bar has been here for a while and I believe they are here to stay. I love their buttery buns, no matter how bad they are for you. I also really like their turkey burgers with dried cranberries. I can’t ever seem to order a burger without their delicious sweet potato fries. Whenever I feel like mixing it up a bit, I will order their Panini’s all of which I’ve found to be good. The best thing about this place is that I can call in to place an order if I don’t want to dine in, and the order is always ready once I get there. However, their patio and indoor seating are both nice if take-out isn’t wanted. I think the portion sizes of everything are great for the prices. But, what is priced the best are their Happy Hour drinks! Enjoy!

The best(turkey) burger I’ve had so far. I love the area it’s in. I got the Sweet & Spicy Turkey Burger. Jalapeño jack cheese(which is what caught my eye to begin with), dried cranberries & baby greens; I added pickles & their champagne mustard to the mix instead of having tomatoes & mayo. All kids of flavors that you can only imagine. I really enjoyed the combination of everything. It’s literally sweet & spicy. The dried cranberries, champagne mustard & cheese took over everything in every bite. Also, I had a side of Double Sweet Potato Fries, which was tossed in cinnamon & local honey! THE best sweet potato fries ever! I don’t think nothing could(honestly) top that!

I stopped in for lunch on Tuesday looking for something quick and easy. I ordered the sweet & spicy turkey burger, truffle fries, and a beer. You order at the counter, take a number, and they deliver your order to you. I had the Deep Ellum IPA, a personal favorite, which was only $ 2.50 due to their Texas Tuesday special. My food came out in about 5 minutes. I liked my burger, especially the bun, but the patty was a little dry. I know turkey can be tricky, but I was hoping for a little more juiciness. I wasn’t impressed with the fries; as for the Parmesan cheese it could be easily mistaken for(if not exactly) the stuff that comes in a green plastic container at the store. Definitely a good, cheap-ish lunch spot. I will probably be back to try more burgers!

Got to love this place! And time you are in the mode for a burger, drop in here. They have all types of burgers. And of course, you can make up you own too! I simply just wanted a bacon cheese burger the other day, and it was so amazing! Aaron took great care of me! Amazing service handsdown! Then hamburger buns here are always so soft and warm! You can have sweet potatoes, or skinny fries! Love them all! Ice cold beer on tap and you can also get a fresh sangria! You can it by the glass or bottle! This is a for sure quinch refresher! Light and right! They do have wifi, so if you need to bring in your IPad and get some work done, heres the place. Nice small patio outside where you can sit and people watch! Burger anyone?

I was impressed with how inexpensive their burgers were compared to their reputation for being a gourmet burger bar and for how good the burger was. I had the mushroom swiss burger, and it also came with spinach on it. It was quite tasty. I didn’t sample any sides, drinks, or anything else on the menu, so I’ll definitely be going back to give it a shot. Consistency always increases my rating on secondary reviews because it’s always a solid reason to return to a restaurant… and to rave about it.

Austin vibe in an uptown locale. Love that locally made, gluten free buns are available. My portobello mushroom burger w basil mayo was outstanding. The sweet potato fries were the best I’ve had, but the truffle fries kinda grossed me out. That might be a matter of personal preference– it was my 1st time trying such a thing. Love the artichoke dip. Gave up on the sriracha cream dip, which was very watery. Small, intimate, rustic setting. The outdoor patio is perfect for people watching. Great music selection too. Led Zep? Black Angels? Bring it. My main critique is they need a proper server or two. I’m sure the bartenders are masters of their craft, but their knowledge of the food left much to be desired. The night I came in I asked both bartenders about ingredients in menu items and both responded with a ‘duuuuur, I don’t know’ type response. Totally apathetic. Good food servers either know, or take it upon themselves to find out. The kitchen is 6 feet behind them but they couldn’t be bothered to turn around and ask, so having to order food through them rubs me the wrong way. *sigh*

Village Burger Bar is a cute little burger shop tucked into the shopping center. Yolanda M. and I stopped in after a Unilocal event across the way. It was a chilly night out and despite being inside it was still a bit chilly indoors as well. The staff was really nice(plus the guy behind the counter was really cute) and our food came out pretty quickly. I ordered a ham and cheddar panini with sweet potato fries… yum! I absolutely love paninis and this one was grilled to perfection. The sweet potato fries were great as well and I would love to visit this place again to try some more of their menu.

Aaron(bartender) is surely swaying a full star on this review. He’s a cutie; my buddy said he reminded her of someone on this show, Sons of Anarchy. She could’ve cuddled through a cold night with this one. His sandy beard was enough to do it… but then, after grabbing seats, the music changed. It was like someone found my iPod playlist from 2004 and started playing it over the speakers… people around us agreed — the«DJ» deserved a thumbs up. All-Star-Wing-Woman that I am, I decided to approach Aaron to get a conversation going and to and see who this«DJ» was. We were sort of betting to see if it would be him… I honestly didn’t think that it would be. He told me it was him. Really? Beard and beat taste? I didn’t ask him if he was single b/c I didn’t want to oust my buddy completely. Refocus! This is supposed to be about the food… Village Burger Bar isn’t my favorite and the food alone probably warrants more of 3 stars than 4, but we wanted something other that light fare to munch on at 12am in the morning… and we wanted a decent crowd to blend into. VBB delivered. I’ve tried their bacon and bleu burger, mushroom and swiss burger, their truffle fries, side salad(vinaigrette was straight vinegar — horrid), and their chicken pesto panini. They all ranged from«Mehh» to «Okay.» That margarita swirl was tastiest. I’d go back for drinks and atmosphere.
