bought a few shirts. well actually 7 during my last trip to Dallas and have been wearing them literally every single day since I got back home to NYC. I love the material and found the store super sleek and the staff extremely helpful. Will certainly be visiting this store again on my next trip down.
P. S. They also have some sick random items besides clothing like flasks; tie clips etc. that I found super interesting.

On Tuesday, Oct 22, 2013 I visited this store Demerara in West Village. I walked in and there were to women behind the counter, the owner and a saleswoman. The saleswoman walked up to me as I looked through a rack at the back of the store and asked if I checked out the clothing rack at the front of the store as all items on that rack had just come in. I told her no, but I’ll chk it out. With two tops in my hand I walked a couple of feet and noticed a rack with dresses on sale, I looked through that rack as well and found one dress that I liked picked that one up. By this time the owner comes from behind the counter and as I’m walking to the front of the store to check out the new items, she’s walking towards the front. One of the doors were open and she suspiciously closed it, she has her phone in her hand and makes a call to a gentlemen by the name of Carlos and steps outside. I didn’t find anything I liked on the new clothes rack so I walk towards the register to be checked out. The owner is now outside talking to a tall black gentleman. By this time a few other customers have come in and he speaks to them but not to me. I checked out my items after giving the saleswoman my email and other contact info for coupons, etc and I walk towards the front. The owner walks in with her head down and heads back toward the counter, no eye contact, no «thanks and come again» In 2012 I did the owners hair and makeup for their spread in Krave Magazine. To be treated as if I came in to run out their store with clothes in my hand is absolutely prejudice and hurtful. I will NEVER shop there again and if the pieces could be returned I would have done so. You have to be careful on how you treat ALL customers that come into your establishment as we never know who we are servicing.
