The staff is very slow and disorganized the standard Starbucks drink and taste was there, hence the two star rating. My biggest concerns with this location was there absolute disdain for anybody having to come up to the counter it’s almost like I was interrupting their fun, to work. On a positive note they have terrific seating that you can easily relax read a book engage with a colleague and the like. The location isn’t by one of the major draws at the mall so that you aren’t overwhelmed with people coming by.

I understand Starbucks gets busy. I’m patient. But when there are 3 workers, one manning the cash reg, one making drinks and the other sweeping and then mopping the floors in the back– why?! Took 18 mins to get one drink. The line was nonstop and the worker was really good. However, why was there just one person making drinks? Why was there a girl sweeping the floors for 10 mins and then mopping? And to make it worst, two workers came back from their lunch at the same time. It was just poorly scheduled for the workers. It’s Friday night. It’s going to busy. Period.

A Starbucks is a Starbucks to me BUT this one which is right across from TGI Fridays and under the AMC theatre in Northpark Mall is not a typical Starbucks! Here are 7 reasons it’s hot: 1. It’s on the 2nd floor patio overlooking the Northpark Garden and downtown Dallas 2. It’s got these pieces of furniture… I think they’re called a chaise, they’re really comfy 3. The movie theatre is upstairs, TGI Fridays is right across, and Banana Republic is just a one minute walk through the Garden 4. Overhead music playing is actually pretty cool 5. Vanilla Bean Frappuccino 6. The design of the place is really unique, it’s like a corner shape store but there’s a lot of geometry going on inside — waves, squares 7. Fun colors! It’s definitely eye-catching to me but hey, that’s just me.
