Parigi has a great patio in a nice part of town. The breeze and greenery is lovely and the food is good. We chose Evy’s Pizza after the signature Caesar, followed by dessert. While our salads and entrée were both very tasty, it was the attitude of the place that left a bad taste in our mouths. As I ordered my Sauvignon Blanc, I reached for the menu to clarify the brand. The waiter cut me off with a quick nod, as if there were only one choice, and I later saw on the bill that the wine I had gotten was higher in price than the one I had intended to order. No biggie. Like I said, beautiful patio. Smart service that isn’t overbearing but attends as needed. Next was the pizza. We opted to share since neither of us were that hungry, and they charged us the $ 3.00 sharing fee. Which seemed a little strange for a pizza, which is regularly shared. But the clincher was the«chocolate glob», touted as their signature dessert. The chocolate glob is mostly uncooked brownie dough. With ice cream. That’s it. It’s a little bit cooked on the outside. $ 11.50. I had about two bites and then decided it wasn’t worth the calories. My companion ate it, simply because he hated to pay $ 11.50 for uncooked brownie just to leave it… When the waiter asked how we were enjoying it, I expressed my displeasure and he offered no apologies; really no response whatsoever. We probably won’t be back. Parigi left me feeling like they care about their image more than their customers.

A great place for lunch. Tried risotto, burger and their award winning Ceasar salad and all were awesome. A small place so i would recommend making a reservation. They have a valet parking in the back.

We have passed by this place on our way home for months and said multiple times, ah we need to go try that place. What an awesome patio! And tonight we finally did. We sat on the patio which was lived up to our expectations and we got a beverage, and scoped out the menu. We started with escargot, 5 in single shells. It was great with the French style bread. We then decided on the fish, which was Grouper and a tenderloin. Our dishes at $ 28 for the grilled fish of the night(AKA Market price) and $ 38 for the steak, were a smaller than expected portion. Both we’re absolutely flavorless, the vegetables were mush and potatoes overly lumpy and stone cold. Fish was pushing the undercooked point, drowned in a yellow curry knock-off broth, speckled with asparagus. After the $ 140 bill was dropped and no questions asked why almost all the food was left untouched on our plates, we have decided that will be our only expensive mistake here. I think this place would be a great Tapas-style stop for someone but the entrees seem to be subpar for your expectations… Our waitress was phenomenal!

Parigi serves a fabulous fresh menu, which changes regularly. I have absolutely loved everything I have ever ordered here! In my opinion, it’s one of the Dallas’s best! It’s lovely atmosphere really reflects a French/Italian/European feel. This adorable little restaurant has the option of indoor/outdoor seating. Parking in the area can be a bit tricky at times…

Wonderful atmosphere, great service, delicious food, and such a cozy feel. I have been wanting to try this place for months and I finally did and I loved it. Small on the inside but it gives it that paris cozy restaurant feel. The menu is wonderful and it changes. The servers help with the cozy atmosphere and provide wonderful service. This place fills up quickly on a Friday and Saturday night at 7pm. The outdoor area has heaters close to the restaurant and seems to be just a hoppin as the inside. Don’t be scared of the $$$ because it is more upscale but affordable upscale.

So you like your food fresh, flavorful, local without tasting like the only spice in the kitchen is salt? Well here it is. The cream of mushroom soup is delectable, rich, creamy with a full mushroom flavor and I could not taste salt, in a soup! Sounds impossible! Was incredibly heavenly. Next I had a seafood pappardelle, full of lobster claw meat, shrimp and crab claws. Yellow and red cherry tomatoes(my favorite) incredible creamy sauce with just enough grated Parmesan. Again so much flavor without a salty flavor, in seafood. Impossible! Iced tea was wonderful, fresh, full flavored and constantly refilled. For dessert ‚½ & ½. Half peach cobbler and half chocolate glob with ice cream. I will not bore you with a description, just try this delicious decadence. It is unparalleled in my experience and I have years and years and years etc… of dessert experience. lavazza coffee, again, my favorite, is served and it’s as if they knew how to make my day. Service was friendly, incredibly menu helpful and just perfect for me to enjoy my lunch. Thank you Shayla B. for making my morning. I’ll be back for the burger very soon.

I could eat here again and again. The food was obviously fresh and cooked by a chef who appreciates Parisian cuisine. The crab beniets were absolutely wonderful. There have three/four menus throughout the weekend. The beef risotto had fresh roasted corn directly from cob and slivers of carrots and red bell peppers which was a great appetizer. I would recommend this place to everyone. The fact that it has been established in the same location for over thirty years is all the more reason for my recommendation.

I figure I should update my review because in the last 1.5 years, I’ve grown to love Parigi so much. It is absolutely one of my favorite restaurants to have both brunch and dinner. I try to share this wonderful restaurant with my friends and family as much as possible. The service is normally very nice and attentive, which I appreciate very much. But, not only is the service great, the food is what steals my heart every time. I love that the menu changes here so often. It gives me something to look forward to each time I come here because I never know what I’ll order. I am a huge fan of light dishes that have some type of fish in it and the fish at Parigi is always so fresh and delicious. I also really like how they don’t always use the common fish, but they cook fish options that aren’t seen on menus that often. Whenever I eat here, I never walk away feeling nasty about eating a heavy meal. The food looks fresh, tastes fresh, and is so satisfying. The brunch options here are amazing! There’s always something on the menu for everyone, whether you’re going for an omelet, a salad, French Toast, fish, or risotto. The menu has a wide variety of items. And speaking of French Toast, their Bread Pudding French Toast happens to be my mom’s favorite and she loves to order it every time we come here and they have it. I love Parigi and it will forever be a favorite of mine in Uptown. It truly is amazing cuisine and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone because I’ve never seen anyone leave here dissatisfied.

Normally I would give this restaurant a 4, and I hope I can just chalk last Tuesday up to it just having an off night. I took two friends who had never been there before, and I felt bad because it wasn’t good… at all. Everything about each entrée was bland and uninspiring in presentation and taste. Gray on white palette; one dimensional flavors. I might give it another go, but I doubt my friends will. This is a fickle town with a lot of choices. I hope Parigi isn’t letting it’s hot spot status go to its head!

Great little spot for lunch. The daily specials all sounded great, but I went with the snapper. It was nicely done, and had great flavor. I loved the roasted corn with it, and the fresh vegetables were nice. Service was fast, friendly, and just how it should be. Overall, good food, good price, good service, no complaints. Looking forward to going back.

I have passed by this restaurant at least 100 times but have never found the time to try it out, but Sunday was the perfect day for it! Me and some friends decided to sit outside and enjoy the cool October air and the service was still very attentive and helpful. It was around brunch time and I decided to spoil myself with the their giant blueberry pancake. It is very fluffy and delicious. The blueberries are melted into the pancake just perfectly. What really made it exceptional was the walnut cinnamon butter that they slathered on top of it, making it all the more melt-in-your mouth watering. I also had a bite of their eggs benedict. The ham was very thick and hearty. The egg was just right and I would certainly have that the next time I eat there. On a side note, parking is kind of a pain, but the restaurant is so worth it. ~I came, I saw, I ate~

Small but oh so ohhhh la la! The food here was delicious… I had the stroganoff risotto and it was moist and flavorful. Don’t expect to find this risotto there the day you go because they change out the menus daily… Which I love… Because it’s like going to a whole new restaurant every day. Now, let’s talk about their peach cobbler with ice cream… it was heavenly… and if it’s your birthday, then happy birthday because it’s free! It was that good! Also, The ambiance is very romantic and cute… Make sure you sit out on the patio… that’s where the romance happens. Love the food and ambiance!

So we’ve become accustomed to this, the best(it’s too good to split) Caesar in town, and the fact that the service is always casually perfect, and that the beef tenderloin(ground mustard cream shallot sauce, famous, 31 years) is perrrrfect, and that the coconut cake, is, just, a classic, moist, and awesome. We also enjoy seeing lots of chefs, restaurant owners, business people, neighborhood residents, and food illuminaries here. it’s just that kind of comfortable, make-it-what-you-want-it-to-be– places that represents a great section of Dallas… consistent…gracious, lively… Yet then, this last Thursday, the Snapper happened on our table for the first time… the snapper was really incredible… Thursday night was one of the all time bests… We are spoiled. It’s perfect.

This place is Ok. I’m not blown away. I was expecting a lot more. The fries were cold and too oily. The California roll was tasteless and bland. The place was clean and the waitress was nice

Excellent service and awesome patio atmosphere. I This is my second visit here in the last couple of months. Soup of the day today. Coconut curry lentil soup. OMG!!! You will love it. I walked in around 1:15 and it is semi busy which is why I come to lunch late usually anyway. I was greeted by the bartender as soon as I walked in and I asked if I can sit at bar to have lunch(I got off early today so yes I’m wining down) and she said to sit anywhere I like. Within a minute I’m sipping on a nice Italian white wine and I ordered soup of day which could have been hotter(I love to blow on my soup) but it was still delicious. I really do not like to complain and I was starving so I ate the soup without sending it back. Next I ordered the chicken Caesar salad for my entrée because the last time I was here it was delicious!!! The atmosphere is dressy and looks like white collar business crowd type people. I definitely plan to go back again this week and try another cup of whatever their soup of the day is and will do another review. P. S. I looked around and I’m not the only one drinking wine at 1:30 pm on a Wednesday afternoon.

This place catered and event and the appetizers were so good we went by after. Really big portions that match the price point. The restaurant was small and packed for 9:00 at night. Good wine selections.

FULLDISCLOSURE: This review is based not on a complete sampling of Parigi restaurant, but a craving unfulfilled by the promised ‘best in Dallas’(see article link below). The date is 15 Mar, the Ides of March. My kiddling(16 yr daughter) being a budding foodie, decided that to recognize the day we’d seek and ‘stab’ into the best Caesar Salad in Dallas. After a quick search, Parigi emerged as ‘the best’ and it’s conveniently close to home. We set out with high anticipation, probably too high. We gleefully order the Caesar with a side of Olive Tapenade and settled in to first enjoy the delicious fresh breads that were served: 1 slice olive, 1 slice whole grain, and a few slices of white baguette. The split order of the Caesar looked a bit skimpy, but without comparison(at this point) we had no reason to question. The Caesar was a disappointment in more than size. The taste immediately delivered a more balsamic vinaigrette flavor; not like any true good quality Caesar dressing I’ve had before and no way close to the authentic ‘prepared table side’ version. I really wonder how this Caesar won its accolades. The size disappointment was compounded when a full order of Caesar was delivered to a nearby table. The full size was significantly more than double the ½ size plates we were served. Oh well, we had almost finished our salads, so without the ‘evidence’ I didn’t feel I was in a position to take a stand. We decided to follow through on ordering the special dessert of the day that piqué our interest when we started the meal, a lemon vanilla cake with multi-berry filling. The cake was served looking rather lovely; unfortunately it was way too dry for a slice at that price. When the bill arrived, I learned that I was also charged $ 1.50 more for the skimpy ½ salads than the single full size order which is $ 8 and much larger than double the ½ size order. As soon as I paid the bill we’d headed to Eatzies to get a proper Caesar Salad. Yes, the Romaine is chopped, whole leaves wouldn’t fit in the takeaway box; but, at least their dressing definitely includes eggs, mustard and anchovies. Not only did we satisfy our ‘stab’ the Caesar intent and craving; but, their Fudge Ganache topped Chocolate Cupcakes were moist and delicious! POSTNOTE: After posting this review, I noticed a photo posted of the Caesar served with some nice strips of anchovies. This option was not offered when we ordered our salad.
