Lousiana roll is great! We ordered the Terriyaki chicken rice bowl and it was good as well. I wish service is a little bit faster.

Clean & fast service rolls took about 5 – 10 minutes to arrive. Whatever is done they bring it right away I love that! You might wait for a table or get lucky and not wait at all! 5 tables of 4 chairs and some stools at bar area! Must try the spicy Tuna Roll & Spider!

What a great little find! I love the vibe and the feel of it when I first walked up and took a seat. The whole«restaurant»(it is literally a niche in the wall) has maybe 10 bar seats. The sushi and the rolls are made freshly in front of you, which is always a fun experience. The workers are friendly and the service is spot-on. I enjoyed every bite of it. Definitely a great place to grab a quick sushi hit as you walk through the Galleria. ~I came, I saw, I ate~

Stumbled upon this little gem one evening while in Dallas for business. At first I walked right past wondering how good a sushi place with only 6 seats at the bar and 3 – 4 tables on the opposite side of the walking path outside of a Macy’s in the Galleria mall could be. However, I quickly walked back and sat down after realizing the Grand Lux Café was basically a Cheesecake Factory… I ordered the Galleria Special($ 15) which featured salmon, cream cheese, and jalapeño inside topped with crab meat and two sauces. Despite having fresh jalapeño it was only mildly spicy which was nice. The second roll was equally delicious, but I can not remember the name(also $ 15). It featured tempura shrimp, crab, and avocado inside topped with smoked salmon, tempura crunch, and two sauces as well. It took me a few minutes to decide, but everyone working was so friendly and inviting! Once I did order they were very quick. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the Galleria mall in North Dallas!

So thrilled to have discovered this little gem. I can run to the Galleria and pick up a delicious bento box and be back at my desk in 20 – 30 min depending on how much browsing I do. The service is prompt and friendly. The fish is very high quality. The portions are generous and there is a pretty good mix of selection. This is my new favorite lunch treat!

5 stars for the spicy tuna! Best spicy tuna roll I have yet to try so I continue going back. Staff is okay, they never look too happy to be working there. Overall nice atmosphere in the Galleria, I would recommend next time you’re craving sushi hit this place up:-)

Their spicy tuna is good as well as the unagi sashimi. I usually eat specialty rolls but I had really good spicy tuna(somewhere near Fort Worth that I can’t recall the name… But seriously delicious) and I’ve been trying to find a place to appease the craving, and after 5 sushi spits, this did it! Wish I would’ve read reviews before going because I would have definitely gotten the sashimi had I known!

I love this place. It’s some of the best sushi I’ve had in Dallas… Which is weird because it’s a very small, almost hole in the wall, kind of place in the mall. If you didn’t know it was there it would be really easy to miss. It’s on the 1st floor(the mall considers the ice rink the«ice rink floor» and the 2nd floor to be the 1st floor… Weird, I know) right outside the cosmetics department of Macy’s. Their bento boxes are really good and pretty popular. Their miso is pretty good too. I had their udon soup once and really didn’t like it, but that was a 1 time occurrence. I’ve loved everything else I’ve tried. I usually get the Philly roll or a Cali roll when I’m keeping it simple but I’ve had lots of their specialty rolls too and they’re all great. The staff is also super nice. There aren’t many places to sit but check for room at the sushi bar if the tables are full.

This place is located in the Galleria. We came here after reading the positive Unilocal reviews. We were the only customers when we dropped in. The server was quick to provide the small menu. It is a small place. We sat at the sushi bar. We gave our order to the sushi chef directly. Since it was our first visit we tried the tuna tower and California roll. Both came out within 10 minutes. We put our drink order in with the sushi chef too since the server was too busy chatting with other workers during our entire meal. We saw the server again when he brought the check. We paid cash and left. The sushi is ok. It’s not going to be The Blue Fish quality or Pirhana Killer Sushi. It is at the mall so don’t have high expectations for great atmosphere. The rolls are average priced from $ 6.50 up. The quality is ok. No fishy smell or any dry rice. We will visit again if we are at the mall. I won’t go out of my way to visit but it is worth the stop if you need to refuel from rigorous shopping.

Macy’s? Sushi? Well, we will bite. Sure glad we did. We ordered three rolls for take out and came home to eat. It was all very good. We would recommend and we will be back!

For $ 20 for a salmon bento box, you’re better off going elsewhere. We sat at the bar, and watched them pull fish out of pre-sealed /grocery bags. Yes, it is sushi in a mall. But for this price point you should just go to a real sushi place

Its neat to see that they have a sushi bar in the middle of the Galleria Dallas. They staff that run that little shop were very responsive. They cleaned the table right away and placed menus there for us. The wife had their craw fish roll while I wanted to try out their udon bowl. Both dishes were okay for the price that you paid, which is a little on the higher end. but that was expected with a direct view of the Christmas tree show that we got to enjoy. The green tea was really good. if all you do is want to sit and people watch, do it with some green tea. This is a nice addition to the mall.

Loved it. Got the ahi tower, it was one of the best I have ever had. I also got the brooke roll and it was very good. While it’s a bit pricey, the service is very good and the chefs are extremely fast and you have an amazing view of the skating rink(and during Christmas time you get to see the tree)! If you find yourself in the mall, you need to eat here. Do not be skeptical of its location inside a mall. The sushi is legit.

You would think that sushi mall is no good but this places shows you other wise. The sushi is so freaking fresh here. The vegetables are crisp and refreshing. The avocado is just right. There house salad is so delicious ahhh. My favorite roll is the caterpillar roll. It is a bit pricey for that roll but I tell you so worth it. The California roll is also delicious. I have been there about 10 different times or more, and they never dissapoint. I have searched for better sushi than this but I haven’t found it honestly. This is my favorite sushi spot ever :)

The service is great and the sushi is great. This is a hidden gem! Try the Asahi beer with your rolls, you won’t be disappointed. Don’t let the presence of being in a mall detour you. The rolls are really good!

Little Katana has grown on me. It is close to my office and a quick sushi fix. The sushi/sashimi bento box is a good bet for the hungry. Other options are fairly traditional. I am a regular here and I swear the smile of recognition when I sit down makes the sushi taste even better!

Ate here with my fiancé today. The service was fast and the sushi was delicious. It was fresh and tasted as good, if not better, than sushi we’ve had in San Francisco(we’re from there). Best sushi we’ve had in the DFW area so far.

Was at the mall and hungry because a 4star Unilocal sushi place was super lame. Got the katana bento 17 $ The other customers were busy chomping down on rolls, god I hate rolls. Edit: got nigiris: salmon, reg tuna(super thick!!!), white tuna, super white tuna(thick) Eel– this was also thick and meaty and soft. Awesome!!! I love this place. I wasn’t expecting much but damn that’s the fattest/biggest pieces of meat I’ve seen in a long long time!!! See pic. Got full with just the meat. This is a def go back whenever I’m even close by. I don’t care it’s in the mall, this is a better value than most. Next time I’ll get the fancy ones– toro and if they slap me down one of them giant pieces, it would put other places to shame. and it did… lolcat rofl @ fancy & pretentious 4−5 Unilocal star sushi places in Dallas.

I originally didn’t plan on eating here as I was already still full from another meal I had elsewhere. but a little taste of their Beef Bulgogi Bento box and Katana roll had me hooked. Just by looking at their chef behind the desk making the food; you can tell that it’s going to be authentically tasty. It was an old Japanese man that’s perhaps 60+ years young making the rolls and boy, they were so delicious. This place is probably the best sushi bar I’ve visited in Dallas that I was exceptionally impressed with — all the others lacked lustre for me. The Katana roll was rich and creamy and the combination of flavours worked and blended together so perfectly. I popped each piece in my mouth with delight every time. I am actually craving and salivating over it right now, that’s how good it was! The service here was good too, the staff were tentative and although their space is small and in the middle of the mall in Galleria — they serve you with great service like you are in a restaurant. Whenever I shop at Galleria and am hungry, Little Katana is definitely my go-to!
