Tasty burritos that have a great homemade taste to them, but that’s the thing there was nothing about it that couldn’t just be made at home. The service was nice, but slow. On a positive note, their salsa as nice and spicy.

A small taco joint where you have the option to either sit and eat or take your food to go. Services friendly and food is genuinely made with Spanish love. The tamales are very close to what mom makes and their salsa is pretty spot on. Tacos are nicely filled with plenty of protein. A great joint for homemade style Mexican food anytime of the day.

I have been looking for a good breakfast burrito place since moving to lower greenville, and this place is amazing. $ 3.30 for a 10″ breakfast burrito? Greatness. I ordered«The Lance»(sausage, bacon, egg, cheese, salsa inside) but subbed the sausage for chorizo. Freaking delicious and filling. Burrito came out within 5 mins from ordering, quite quick. I noticed they know the regular customers by name and order, always a good sign. What are you waiting for? Eat here now.

Wow! Great breakfast burritos. My husband is obsessed. I thought they were pretty good as well. The owner Vicki is so extremely sweet! She really enjoys interacting with the customers. I can’t wait to return to try their lunch menu. Looks delicious!

In a city where there are taco joints on every corner, it’s hard to stand out in the crowd. La Victoria is easy to drive by, on a busy one way street in a converted gas station, but step inside and prepare to be wowed! I read about the«Zack Attack» and assumed nothing could be that good. People, it was! Fresh SLICES — not spread-of avocado, plenty of meat and eggs and not bean or potato filler! And just greasy enough chips and salsa… OMG. Vicky is the rare owner who really cares about her customers and it shows in her food and pride of service. Cannot wait to go back… a real find.

The only reason for a 2 star is the tiny pieces of egg shell when biting into your breakfast burrito. This has happened to me on a few occasions. They also have unpredictable hours of operation.

You can’t go wrong with a Zach Attack or Vicki’s special. Inside is very clean. Staff is very friendly. Nice mom and pop place.

I have no clue how this place has so many good reviews. It was so awful I just downloaded the Unilocal app so I could leave a review as my friends and I are driving to go eat somewhere else. The restaurant itself is fine. Typical hole in the wall, I’m into that. The menu is fine, but there’s no queso so I was prepared for it to be more traditional Mexican food. I had migas, one friend had the Zack Attack burrito the other had a beef burrito. The chips were super greasy the salsa was not good. The first bite of meat from the migas plate was a piece of hard something that was inedible. The migas themselves were soggy and flavorless.

If you’re looking for authentic delicious Mexican, this is the place to go. The place is spotless, the owner and her staff couldn’t be nicer or friendlier, and the food is spectacular. I ordered a burrito and it was so good I ordered another!

In a city where breakfast tacos reign supreme, I’ve found it almost alarmingly difficult to find a breakfast burrito that really knocks it out of the park as are so common back on the West Coast and even in my native Colorado. Sure, everyone loves a good set of breakfast tacos, but every now and then I need to mix it up with something I can be on the move with, and La Victoria dishes up arguably the best breakfast burrito I’ve had in Dallas. Star 1: How were the service and atmosphere? Off the beaten path a bit, La Victoria is an establishment, and are as much a part of the community as the legends like Sonny Bryan’s, Jimmy’s Food Store, and El Fenix. The service here is marvelous and the staff friendly. In what was possibly the cutest moment I’ve had as a foodie, one of the cook’s came out after making my burrito, held it up, and exclaimed«Look! Look at this! Good luck». Adorable, and a wonderful touch to my early morning experience. Star Granted. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? It’s here that La Victoria shines folks. The base price for my Super Breakfast Burrito was $ 6.00, which came up to $ 8.00 after tax after I added Sausage and Potatoes to the already present Ham, Egg and Cheese. While it may not be evident by the picture, this could have easily, very easily, served two, and I ended up eating half for breakfast and half for lunch. $ 4.00 per meal? That’s a steal, and the rest of the menu is priced comparably. Star Granted. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food? Yum. Breakfast burritos are hard to mess up, but they’re equally difficult to knock out of the park. The Super Breakfast Burrito here at La Victoria has all of the essentials, and they’re packaged in portions that are reasonable and compliment one another. There’s plenty of meat in the mix and neither too many potatoes nor egg, which is a common downfall among breakfast burritos these days. One thing I will say, and it’s likely my own fault, is that this could have used a green verde salsa and maybe some jalapenos for a bit of kick? Additionally I tend to prefer crispy shredded has browns to softer potatoes, but that’s not really worth making a fuss about. Single Star Granted. Star 5: Would you eat here every day if you could? The obvious answer here is yes, and I’m actually quite torn between four and five stars. What I vow to do is return to La Victoria for lunch, and if there normal super burrito is as good as their breakfast burrito? It’s five stars for La Victoria. Star Granted.

Zack Attack is amazing! Added cheese to top it off. Salsa compliments it well. I will definitely be back soon.

I had my first breakfast here based off Unilocal reviews, and happened to run into my neighbor of 13 years– and we live way across town in SW Arlington! Over my migas and her huge breakfast burritos(she ate one now, took one for a midnight snack,) we agreed that this is one of the rare places in Dallas that«gets» what people want for Mexican breakfast. I lived in Austin for 10 years, and she attended SWTSU for undergrad and masters, so we both have a certain expectation for what REAL Mexican breakfast is. In the Austin area, this place would be a high 3 or mid-4 but we’re in Dallas, y’all, and they’re definitely stepping up! Bonus: real, down-to-earth counter & waitstaff, fast skilled kitchen Following: Big, cater many events, took two catering calls just during out breakfast Atmosphere: Old school lunch counter. I had on a dress and heels and fit right in.

Basic and tasty Mexican breakfast option in old east Dallas. I had the Migas, my mom had the Huevos Rancho plus we shared some tamales(not much else to order really, at least for breakfast). It’s a simple operation, not to be confused with the Taco Joint’s and Torchy’s of the world. I’d go back if I’m in the neighborhood, but wouldn’t consider it a destination meal.

Felipe ¿por qué tomó tanto tiempo para llegar hasta aquí? Tonto el culo! A very charming little diner where the food is fresh and delicious, and, the owner and the other lady(sister I think) are so sweet and friendly. I don’t know what took my dumb ass so long to get here, but, now that I have, look out! I had the privilege of getting to meet owner/chef Victoria herself. She is a true gem. She explained a lot of her items on the menu. Some she keeps traditional like the picadillo. She slow cooks that stuff for six hours like her mama used to do. Man, I gotta tell you, that is the best picadillo I’ve ever had. Everything was in perfect harmony with that dish. Not too sweet or tomatoey with a perfect little bite! I ordered the picadillo taco’s. One bite into the corn tortillas, stuffed full of that delicious filling, sent my taste buds into a food gasm! Yes, that stuff is that good. El picadillo me dio un escalofrío! I am a harsh critic on tamales. Notice I said critic. Not aficionado. I hate tamales that focus on the masa and not the filling. I hate tamales that have way more masa than they need with very little filling. Victoria makes hers fresh, and, during the off season she offers slow roasted pork in red chile sauce. The meat to masa ratio is damned near perfect and delicious. My only complaint was it wasn’t spicy, but, it isn’t supposed to be. I added some hot sauce, and, I was fine. Los tamales de cerdo son deliciosos! The rice and beans were another winner. The rice was perfectly done with the right amount of moisture remaining. Most places, usually Tex-Mex, will serve you that dried out bland rice. Not the case here. I ate every damn grain of that stuff. Same with the beans. Not your typical leftover pintos smashed up with lard and ketchup dumped into them. Usually beans and rice are my least favorites on a Mexican dish, but, not these. These beans and rice would be delicious on a tortilla with some salsa. Granos de excelente y el arroz! Victoria is a busy woman. Her restaurant closes at 1400, and, is never open on Sunday. That is her Church day. So don’t be pestering this fine woman on Sundays. She caters and ships her Tamales. She’s on Facebook, I am not. She does a cheese and jalapeño tamale which I have got to try, so, yes, I will either talk her into making it for me before I leave Dallas, or, I will order it. I love little dives that have that«at home» feeling, and, make me feel like I’m «at home». I got that here along with some dang good food. Gracias señora Victoria! Estaré detrás!

Obsessed with this place. It’s very different(especially the atmosphere), and is breakfast/lunch only, with a pretty small menu, but everything is AMAZING! The food tastes homemade, and everything is created with the most focused care and attention to detail. The staff is so friendly, and the prices are incredible. Id recommend the zak attack burrito, it has won tons of awards and for good reason!

Absolutely amazing. Insanely good in fact. Victoria and her sister are awesome, I’ve never had a bad meal here. She’ll make anything you want with a smile. Get the Vicky special, get the tamales, get picadillo and cheese on the tamales, get the gorditas, get the torta, ask Victoria what she suggests and she’ll give you her idea for the day. Also the chorizo and egg burrito is a simple favorite of mine. Plus it’s huge and only $ 3! Update: Just heard from Victoria that starting in June they are going to be open for dinner on Friday and Saturday. Rejoice for now you can eat well all day!
