Impressed with the tomato soup & mozzarella& tomato pre made sandwiches in and out in about 5 mins and made it on my flight. Across the way 4 – 5 TVs showing the football game so I didn’t have to go very far.

Very sad, this place pre-makes the breakfast and they are soggy and rubbery sandwiches and poor service. The staff is afraid to acknowledge in coming guest. Very bizarre, when I ask after a few minutes if anyone is in the kitchen, «the response is «did you hear me call you name» wow. Just amounts to very bad management and the store supervisor is asleep at the wheel, So sad considering the store on midway and northwest highway is wonderful, great staff and excellent food.

Terrible greasy quiche. $ 5 bottled water. Truly an insult on French cuisine. Stay away. We came here on a flight from SFO heading to New Orleans. Next time I’m going to cough up the extra $ 100 and fly direct. This airport had very little choices most all fast food. I thought this place was going to be better paid $ 24 for two of these and a bottle of water only to feel sick after a few bites. I think next time I will stick to Starbucks.

A nice little café in Dallas Love airport — very convenient take-out place for me since I had just under an hour to connect to my flight back home. You can grab pre-packaged sandwiches anywhere these days, and quality can be hit or miss. I got a(cold)chicken pesto sandwich and it was decent. Bread was soft, chicken wasn’t totally dry and had good seasoning, and yes there was enough pesto. What makes this café a bit more special is their display case of desserts! I didn’t want too heavy of a dinner, so I just got their almond chocolate tart. Very good — well made dessert.

Decided to grab a quick breakfast before flight since I like their bigger locations in the city but it’s so much worse here at the airport. Like it’s a different kind of place altogether. The service is terrible. No greeting, no thank you. When I ordered breakfast croissant($ 7.03 after tax) the man at the counter just loudly repeated it at me to confirm. When I paid he just gave me the flag to take to the table and called for the next person. Kinda rude. Another lady, just dropped off the croissant on a black one time use plate. Looks very unappealing. Croissant was soggy and oily. And felt like it was just microwaved(like in convenience stores). Outside was warm, inside was still cold. Very dissatisfying. Overall, just not a pleasant experience. Even for a quick bite at the airport.

Unfriendly staff. The man is very cold and apathetic. My order was not correct but I’m sure he didn’t care. No southern hospitality here. Food was just ok. Not worth the price.

Chicken Friand I stopped in to grab a quick bite before my flight. Although it isn’t possible to have all the options as their larger restaurants, the menu had two of my favorite dishes. That would be the Chicken la Madeleine which is chicken with mushroom sauce and Chicken Friand which is chicken and mushroom filling in a puff pastry topped with the mushrooms sauce. It was about 3pm in the afternoon. I’m not sure what their hours are and if they only cook so many entrees a day but they were out of the Chicken la Madeleine. If they had been out of the Chicken Friand then I would have gone elsewhere for food. The rest of the menu consisted of soup and sandwiches. The Chicken Friand was delicious. It would have been better with a glass of wine but they don’t serve alcohol here. The service wasn’t horrible but there was definitely room for improvement. It almost felt like they were done for the day and really didn’t want any more customers. I sat at the one table available with the flag they gave me for my order. One of the girls came by to wipe the table and took the flag. I thought there aren’t that many people in here so they will know my order right? When my order came up the girl walked around trying to find a flag to figure out whose food it was. I finally said I believe that’s mine and explained to her that she just wiped the table and took the flag. I would still stop in as long as they have the french dishes available. I just wish the service were a little friendlier.

This was a cute little french bistro located within the airport. The prices are a bit much and service leaves a bit desired. We ordered the french dip and they forgot the au jus and the horseradish sauce. We had to go up twice to get it. The Strawberries Romanoff was delicious as well as the Yogurt Parfait. The Chicken Salade Croissant lacked seasoning, but it was edible.

Simon is really unhappy to be working here. Ask no questions. Do not expect any thank you’s or you’re welcomes. It’s as if Simon has heard the stereotype that the French are rude and has decided to thrown down a good ol’ USA challenge. This might be palatable if their food was great but this is clearly where Le Mad’s usually superior products come when they’ve passed their shelf life. But, back to Simon, find some joy dude.

This is my first layover through Love Field now that Southwest has been able to add more flight options. Love Field looks great! I stopped into La Madeleine during my 2 hour layover. The choices were great, very similar to a full store! My breakfast was ready fast and tasted great! The coffee was tasty! I was a little nervous when ordering because friendly service did not seem like something on the menu. However, once I was seated and enjoying my breakfast, the staff checked on me twice and cleared my plate when I was finished. I very much appreciated the extra touch in a fast food style restaurant in an airport!

I stopped in to grab a late lunch prior to my flight. Whenever I’m in town I always have to get myself a bowl of their tomato basil soup,. My standard order is always soup and salad. My only complaint is the lack of veggie options here. It’s a little tough to improvise like you would at an normal storefront café. But given that this is inside an airport with numerous travelers, it would be nice to offer more than just 2 options outside of soup. The service is friendly and the food comes out quick. If you do plan to sit down and eat, there’s limited tables inside. and the food is served in plastic-ware. Come on guys?! At least give me a real plate if I’m dining in.

Stopped by as we were rushing to an 8am flight and needed breakfast. As we approached our gate, I spotted a famous coffee kiosk directly in front and was thrilled, until I saw the exaggerated line extending several gates back and the lone barista at work. It was then I noticed La Madeleine– a full store just past the next gate with an assortment of pastries, coffees, juices, sandwiches and more! Everything looked more delicious than the next! And FIVE people were working registers and filling orders as efficiently as possible. They worked in unison, almost like busy workers from a Disney film. Perfect! I hopped in line and immediately salivated over my options. A banana nut muffin? A slice of lemon cake? A delicious-ready-to-be-devoured almond croissant? Oh wait! There was an even-more-delicious-ready-to-be-devoured looking chocolate croissant right next to it! Decisions, decisions. I was about to inquire when I noticed the ALMONDANDCHOCOLATE Croissant just below. DONE! One of those for me. I was ready to order. Oh wait! I still needed something for my hubby and my baby. Fruit and yogurt options galore– grabbed one for my babe. Hubby got the banana muffin. One fruit smoothie and a latte to go completed my order. My server was pleasant and efficient– an elusive combo out east! My order arrived and I was on my way. Checked my watch– less than five minutes! I snuck a taste of my DELICIOUS Almond Chocolate Croissant as I walked past the loooong line at the«other» place– yummy!!! I even had time for a few sips of my latte as I walked by that line. Very happy with my choices– YUMYUMYUM!!!
