Hungry for some great Italian food served by friendly and caring staff? Yeah, me too. Sadly, you aren’t going to find it at Joe’s Pizza Pasta and Subs. Some buddies and I thought we’d give this place a try on our lunch break. To call this place a disappointment would be a huge understatement. For starters, our«large» party of four must have overwhelmed the kitchen, because the plates came out one at a time and about five to ten minutes apart. When my food finally came out of the kitchen, I watched as the waiter took it around the dining room trying to find the right table. Finally, after checking with the kitchen, the SAMEPLATE that had been touring the restaurant made its way to me. Yeah… no thanks. I sent the food back and cancelled my order. In any other circumstance, I would have been out of there so fast it would have made your head spin. But, my buddies had already gotten their food and since we all came together, I spent the next several minutes watching them eat. During those minutes, NOTONCE did any of the staff or management approach me to ask if there was anything they could do to rectify the situation or to apologize for the lousy service. With so much competition in the area, you’d think customer service would be a priority, but I guess they are doing so much business, they afford to lose a customer or two. In that case, job well done, Joe’s. This customer won’t be back.

They are really overpriced for the quality of pizza they serve. Not to mention they are very stingy with toppings. Go to Fratelli’s across the street.

A family owned and operated gem in an otherwise chain driven Dallas area. We happened by this place by chance for lunch. My wife had the Italian sub(amaze) and I had the Philly steak sub(also amaze). The food was delicious and the freshness evident in both presentation and taste. Johnny, a former restaurant owner himself, was there ‘just hanging out’. And by hanging out I mean he waited on us and chatted us up. Others walked in while we were sitting and ordered pizza and burgers. I wanted to grab them and say ‘get the Italian sub instead!‘ Do yourself, and your stomach, a favor and give it a shot.

Kinda disappointed. I looked at their website and saw that they had a caprese salad, which I love because I don’t like lettuce. So I run a couple errands and call to place my order. I order a medium pepperoni green pepper pizza and the caprese salad. Their website described the caprese salad as having tomato, basil, mozzarella, and red onion, with balsamic. I get home and find that the salad was mostly spinach, which wasn’t listed on the Web site(or else I wouldn’t have ordered it cause I don’t like spinach). Then it just had a few tomatoes, onions, and slices of mozzarella… and NOBASIL! Isn’t that the main ingredient in this salad? And what kind of caprese salad is mostly spinach? Oh, and did I mention that the website showed this as $ 7.99 but it was $ 9.99 at the place? Then I open the pizza box. The pizza looked good but they were so skimpy with the toppings. These arw big NY style slices, and each slice had 2 – 3 pieces of pepperoni and 1 – 2 slices of bell pepper. It tasted pretty good, which is why I’m giving two stars, but I think it’s pricey for what you get. I paid $ 9.99 for a salad I hardly ate because it was misrepresented and $ 15 for a medium pizza that hardly had toppings on it. When I called to tell them they left off the basil, all I got was a «oh I guess we forgot it.» Not sure I’ll be back… you can find equally good pizza in the area and I hate that I was ripped off $ 10 for what was supposed to be a caprese salad.

I was happy to see they had quite a few vegetarian options. We got a small cheese pizza and a veggie sub to go. The sub came with fries and was more than enough to fill me up. My husband only finished about half the pizza before getting full. We had leftovers for the next day and only paid about $ 23.00 altogether. Not too shabby! P. S. Am I the only one who is confused as to why there are several of these«Joe’s» pizza/pasta places around the DFW area? Is it some sort of franchise? They all have a slight variation on their name(i.e. «Joe’s Pizza ‘n Pasta,» «Joe’s Pasta & Pizza,» «NYC Joe’s,» etc) but seemed like they are owned by the same people. There are about a million in Fort Worth. Something my husband and I have been wondering about since we moved here!

Saw the new eatery in the neighborhood and decided to pop in. My son loves meatball subs and we ordered one up. I tried the lasagna and we were both happily surprised about how good the food is. Delicious, fresh, tasty. The fries are also great. We will be going back soon

Great gluten free pizza, thin crust style. They even have mediums now too(as well as smalls, obvs). They’re always fast and super friendly, can’t go wrong!

I really like this place. I have only gone twice for lunch and both times I have been full and satisfied. The lunch special that I always get is the salad, slice of pizza and a drink. I adore their house dressing. It’s got the perfect tang to it– I swear it won’t disappoint. The pizza crust is nice and crispy and holds the toppings perfectly. This isn’t the typical slice of pizza that sits out until someone finally orders it… it is nice and hot upon delivery! The employees are always very friendly and accommodating and one day, I swear, I will leave enough room for a piece of the gorgeous and drool inducing cheesecake that’s housed in the refrigerator right by the register. Check it out– you’ll be happy that you did!

I’ve been to this location of Joe’s Pizza a few times, and this cool strip mall Italian eatery never disappoints with its damn fine sandwiches and pizza. As far as appetizers go, their fried zucchini is stellar, with fresh and crispy zucchini discs underneath a lightly breaded shell. They serves them with a side of sauce for dipping, but they are just as good without it. Their Greek Salad is cool and crisp and bursting with greens. It’s also HUGE, and makes for a nice pairing. I also love their Italian Sub, because their bread is so excellent and because this sandwich is also full of cool, crisp green lettuce, tomatoes and peppers. This is fast and FRESH food, at a good price. I’m a huge fan. Hopefully you will soon be too.

I love this place because they deliver… and on the weekends we tend to get a little lazy :-) The food has been excellent — LOVE the fact that you can customize your sauces(I love the Murphy sauce). The stromboli is a beast. The chicken alfredo is great. The Pasta Primo is my favorite(plus I like to get it with the Murphy sauce to spice things up). The salads are pretty good too, huge servings of salad, even for the side dish. The only thing I don’t like is the bread that accompanies the pastas/entrees. It’s hard and tastes like cardboard. I’ll pass on the bread(you’d think an Italian place would know better!) Great option and addition to the Bluffview area, love it!

This was my first experience trying Joe’s and overall I was pleased. It’s a small place, so the service was efficient and the servers were nice. As an appetizer, I had the garlic knots which were great. For the entrée, I had the baked ziti with chicken and it was decent. A good-sized portion but not a lot of flavor. I will definitely try Joe’s again, but next time I will order a pizza which seems to be their specialty.

Wonderful food! We love every bit of it. The spinach artichoke dip is amazing. The Vodka Chicken is super awesome — we sub penne with angel hair. The calzone-things are just too much food :-)

Best new pasta place on the map! I honestly think better than Campizi’s! Everything we’ve had here has been absolutely great!

Love Love Love — did I say Love their pizza. My all time favorite pizza is the 4 cheese pizza cut in squares. If I am feeling crazy(wait for it) I will add pepperoni to it! Always friendly when we pick up, although while we do live right across the street, they deliver and yet have never had them deliver, but I am sure they would be great at that as well! I have never dined-in, but whenever we go there are people always dining with their families. Pizza is a little pricey(large is $ 19) but you definitely get quality — not like Papa Johns or Dominos.

Joe’s is absolutely one of the best places for pizza, pasta and salad! The food is so tasty and they never take shortcuts on their food. They are quick with service without any compromise on the customers part because they understand how important the customer is in a business. From the owner to the staff, everyone is so helpful and friendly. The customer service there is impeccable. I give this location and the one in Plano a definite thumbs up! I will definitely be telling everyone I know about this establishment.

Exactly what it needs to be. Good quality for the price. Nice clean restaurant. 3 TVs and decent seating. Place is very convenient and much better than the other neighborhood italian places I’ve tried. Lemon pepper wings had a great flavor for those wanting something different from the standard italian dishes. Will definitely return

Great pizza! In biking/walking distance of Bluffview. New employees need more training. Service is just OK, mainly because the workers are young and inexperienced and no manager is present. Our server did not know the difference between sausage and beef.(???)

I came in and was seated. I was given something to drink and was told a waitress would take an order. There were only 2 other table full and the waitress was chatting away with her co-workers. I was waiting for about 15 min, after flagging couple of times she showed up. I ordered my order of eggplant parmesan. The description said served with angel hair pasta. She did not even give the bread, I got the bread 2 minutes after the pasta. The pasta was spagetti not angel hair. I have had much better eggplant at other resturants. The eggplant might have been slightly undercooked, it was too hot to tell. I ordered a italian wedding cake. For some reason the cake was different than the description on the menu. With tips I paid $ 22 which was too much for this food. I could have had better food at campisi with the same order for $ 16. There are better places around and service leaves much to be desired for.

Yummy pizza and super fast delivery. We order a 18″ chicken alfredo and meat lovers. Feeds four to five humans fairly easy.

Good addition for Bluffview and surrounding area. Nice folks, good pizza, lots of salads and pasta choices. I’m looking forward to exploring the menu. Their pizza is a great alternative and a step up from Domino’s, PH, etc. they have fresh mozzarella which is awesome.
