I have had food from here three times. The first 2 times– taking it to go. I was not thrilled either time. Last night, I came here with a group and was pleasantly surprised at how much better the food was when eating it there. I started off with a white sangria– very light and refreshing. Good solid choice. We choice some appetizers– starting with the spinach artichoke dip, bruschetta and a large salad. The spinach artichoke dip was MUCH better when eaten immediately. The salad we had– the texas bibb, was also pretty great. I loved the dressing. The sweetness with the bacon was awesome. Next we split 3 pizzas. The triple roni– which I have tried twice before, the white pizza and the hot and crumbled. Everyone seemed to love the hot and crumbled but im not a fan of sausage and did not try it. Lastly we split the cheesecake and the brownie. Everyone seemed to love the cheesecake but I was allll about the brownie. The three biggest downsides with this restaurant is 1. PARKINGISHORRIBLE. 2. Service is SLOW. We were there for over 3 damn hours and it was only a Wednesday! 3. Lastly, I do not think taking the food to go is good at all. It only tastes good immediately after baking.

Our waiter & the hostess are doing an amazing job. We haven’t got our food yet but it is so busy & they both are working so well together. You have some great employees.

Candidly… we have had strong experiences here in the past, but last night was one of the most dissapointing meals in a long time. Other than the appetizer it was bad on all levels. Service was shoddy and confused(brought wrong things), atmosphere was bizzare(dirty/wet table and club music for example), food(greasy, bland sauce, one pizza was cold), menu(strange selections have appeared, good ones have moved on) and last, but not least… horrid parking. The manager did not come around and check on anything. Only gave it one star because of the past positive experiences, decent drink selection and the appetizer. Won’t be back as this falls under buyer beware! Note: It did not feel like a bad night for them or a perfect storm, but more like an erosion. Too bad… The manager did follow-up with me on Unilocal, but never replied back after I he asked me too. It kind of reminds us of our experience overall — one-star.

This is the place will have you remembering there’s nothing special about pizza… But you are wrong! There’s great pizza out there! But this place is nasty will leave you feeling nasty & greasy and you’ll end up paying unreasonable prices for the results. Most likely you have leftovers but you won’t want to take them home but still, the waitress will box it up for you, my waiter never treat me like an individual but the check she brought me sure did have lemonade she only bother to fill once. Poor service at that, and no. The place wasn’t full house & I doubt it ever is.

Yummy Yummy!!! Pizza is really good but you can’t get a salad anywhere as good as this. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. The BEST!

Their pizza tastes so good! One pizza serving can fill up two people. One thing that you can notice is their pizza, peppers and cheese taste fresh. I plan on going back to check out their other pizzas and desserts. And yes parking does suck but nothing that is annoying to the point you would want to go anywhere else.

The pizza is always so good. How do they do it?! It’s a good little date night spot because it’s dark in there and can be romantic. The pies aren’t too expensive and it seems great in there all the time.

Very solid pizza! I very much enjoy their sangria also… sangria always pairs well with a summer evening! Great location too, very intimate… lots of shops and boutiques nearby as well as ample parking. My go to is always a Margherita pizza with fresh tomatoes and basil. Also the salads are massive so perfect to grab a whole bunch of different ones to share. I’m hardly in this area but if I am and I have a hankering for a tasty pie this joint stays in my back pocket.

The pizza here was pretty awesome. It’s the perfect size to share between two people(at least my friend and I, probably not my husband). Love that there was more than one meatless option. The kiwi white sangria was good too. The kiwi flavor dominates. I could have easily had a few. The desserts are enormous. Delicious, but way too big. I was wondering why it took longer to get dessert than the pizza, until I realized my brownie appeared to be fresh baked. Service was excellent. We got there right after opening and it wasn’t too busy. It was picking up when we left. Parking was tight. We didn’t drive, but I could see that as an issue for anyone who is. They appeared to have valet.

I used to like it because it was decent and convenient. After waiting an hour for a pizza tonight while my kids gradually lost their sh@t, I lost my like for Fireside. We were literally one of three tables when we ordered so busy is not an excuse. The waitress never apologized or checked on us. I finally asked for the check and she still tried to charge me for the pizza to go?! Manager did offer a gift card but I’m a believer that you correct the situation at the time– ie comp meal or something and I’ll gladly come back on my own dime. Update– Kurtis and his team reached out and offered to make things right. I said we’d come back and he even honored my request to donate to the North Texas Food Bank rather than comp my next meal. Thanks Fireside team!

Came here thinking they sell pies. THEYSERVEPIZZAS. Parking is pretty miserable. You have to try and find some street parking closeby(there are some street places around in the back, but you will need to walk 5 min) So Fireside Pies is a good place. It’s really chill and they offer good, quick service. We ordered a meatball pizza(14) and split it among ourselves. The pizza itself is probably big enough to serve 2 – 3, if you are not STARVING hungry. They are probably the size of a medium in a normal pizza place, may a little smaller. I thought the pizza was good, had some meatballs on it, but not the BEST pizza I’ve had. Again, not bad, but not AMAZING. We ordered the brownie and the vanilla bean cheesecake. The brownie was superb. Loved the ice cream on top with nuts. It had a perfect crunch and wasn’t overly sweet. The cheesecake was also highly enjoyable. Didn’t feel cheap, but was definitely denser than the brownie. The cheesecake was also much larger than I expected, which was a very pleasant surprise! Really liked the place. Def recommend.

I’ve heard nothing but fantastic things about this awesome restaurant. Even though carbs are on my short list of food shouldn’t have’s…I just couldn’t resist. Especially since I was given a couple gift cards to enjoy their gourmet fare. Today I started with a Caesar Salad, which had amazing amounts of fresh grated parmesan but the garlic croutons were too crispy and chunky. The dressing was actually a tad sweet, which is odd. This is a savory salad, so I added red chili pepper flakes to cover the sweetness going on. Maybe a few white anchovies would balance this salad. Wanting to skip any nitrate pizza meats, I opted for the white garlic olive oil sage pizza, which is a cheese lover’s delight. Just which they offered table side EVOO, my crust was perfectly crispy, but was a tad dry for me. And who doesn’t love a olive bouquet hint on their pie. They are down to earth purveyors whom strive for great customer service. I liked my server, but wished I was offered cracked pepper, salt, red chili flakes etc. Found their dining room relaxing and not too loud.

Goat cheese is white! My life is complete on the color wheel of food :) On a weekend it is expected this place is going to be packed… bring your patience and a gorgeous sidekick… if time stands still or flies by, your mind and appetite are drenched in possibilities. You can not go wrong with any of the salads… just add a protein… always add protein… it is how you stay sexy. Duh. Cuteness warned me he would destroy a pizza solo… so we opted for two. I have always been the Arugula wanting pine nut held together by goat cheese lover… but adding sausage… spice level happiness. I kind of forgot where I was because I was so happy. He might have asked me a question but between his eyes piercing my soul and hot cheese in my mouth I could not have told you my name. :) This hilarious group of 20 somethings needed a 12 top… so we slid over and the manager was apologetic and professional. As past industry people you realize… people need to fill spots and make everyone smile. Happy to oblige. After 2 hours here… we were mentally stimulated, palate satiated, and physically in need of basic movement.

More spaced out than the Fireside Pies on Knox/Henderson but without the patio space. The waiters/waitresses are super sweet, and managed to accommodate our huge 20-person group, no questions asked, and were super sweet about making sure everyone got to try every appetizer and got to try every salad and got to try every pizza. (I was very stuffed from this outing). My only complaint is that parking is a PAIN. The parking lot itself is always super crowded, and you can park across the street/on the side streets, but it makes my stomach hurt just thinking about it.

Got the triple roni pizza and it was really yummy. Not better than cane rosso but pretty similar! The atmosphere was relaxed and the décor was nice. Our waitress was very friendly and gave us a red bell pepper ranch to dip for our crust. Nomms! will definitely be coming again

The bruschetta starter was quite good. Even my picky daughter liked the presentation and taste that she had two of the four pieces. Definitely order this. We ordered two pizzas: The Triple Roni — not your average pepperoni pizza. Quite tasty with the truffle oil addition but made the pizza greasy. The Meatball Pie — nice combination of red roasted onions and peppers, sliced meatball, mozzarella. Very good. I’d order this one again. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly and checked on us often.

Tonight was my first time at fireside pies. I had heard rave reviews and was not disappointed! I got a grapefruit cocktail– it was delicious, refreshing. Perfect. I split the meatball pizza with my dad and we loved it. Thin crust, obviously fresh. Made with love. I’ll be back! :)

I really liked this place. I am from Chicago where we are known for our out if this world deep dish pizza. However I enjoy trying other types of pizza and this place impressed me. Service was great, friendly staff and very knowledgeable about the menu. Drinks: good bar with a decent selection. Food. We had the crab claw appetizer and pizza. Both were awesome and I do not usually care for crab. Price: seems fair for the service and quality of what you are receiving.

Disclaimer: Since it was a group outing I did not pay for food. Therefore this review did not consider the value of food compared to price, and was written solely for the quality of food. I tried this place with bunch of people for a group gathering. We were given some appetizers, salad, pizzas and desserts, all family style. First of all the ambience was very nice and cozy, perfectly suitable for a little night out or even a date night. Out of appetizers I liked bruchetta and meatball. We had sampling of several different kinds of salad. I thought all of them were tasty, but I especially liked the salad with bacon bits. I also liked another kind of salad with sesame oil in it. For pizza, there were meat, pepperoni, cheese/sage, margerita. I liked the crispiness of the dough. I thought it was baked perfectly(fyi, they have woodfired brick oven). Lastly for dessert, we were given brownies, coconut ice cream, cheesecake and one other kind. They were all tasty, but the cheesecake was pretty good. Overall I had a great experience in terms of food, ambience and service. Will definitely go back if I get a chance.
