Your review helps others learn about great local businesses. I find this place unacceptable. Tonight I was told that the cook lost the ticket, so my food was delayed. Obviously, I left, as I wanted to eat, not hear excuses. The place cannot get good help, and it shows. Do them aa favor and go elsewhere.

Don’t order anything Simple And Fit. It is nasty and the wait staff is horrid. If you have a complaint about the food, forget it. They just blow w you off.

We come to this location quite a bit, since it is the closest to where we live in Lakewood. This location is always busy during the weekends, and the speed of service seems to show. Today was the exception, Kisha S(our server) was extremely helpful and friendly. She definitely made up for the annoying mix-at the hostess station. She’s is one of the few reasons why we will be returning for another visit.

Went here tonight with my fiancée and well it was so dead in there and the service was slow. I orders the pancakes and egg combo and my fiancée orders the biscuits and gravy. The pancake was good but the gravy on the biscuit tasted like something put of a package. It was not creamy at all didn’t taste like white country gravy and had no sausage in it. It hardly coverd the biscuit. The waiter was good but was a little slow. When we were ready to pay it to him about 20 minutes to come to the counter to ring us up. I don’t know if I will be coming back to IHOP anytime soon.

The Lakewood iHop is kind of like most other iHops. Pretty busy and slow on the help when needed because they need more help. Love the omelets though! I don’t know why they don’t just post the WiFi password for the guest. The waitresses don’t even know what it is.

First the odor of mildew hits you in the face when you walk in. We should’ve left but we didn’t. Food was ok. The waitress must not have kids or understand them. When ordering hot chocolate for your child a coffee mug would have sufficed. My 7 year old did not need the Trenta size of sugar and cream left in front of her and in styrofoam. I had to ask for the smaller mug twice only after first being presented with another styrofoam cup and a mug the size of my head. My dad ordered toast. It had hardly any toasting done to it. Then he was appalled that they threw it away when asked to toast it more and brought him the same thing again. I don’t think we we will be back.

IHOP doesn’t really need another review, you know what you’re getting going in there. Just a word of caution: this particular location stole $ 32 off a gift card I used there. I paid the check($ 18 including tip) with a $ 50 gift card. Later I tried to use the rest of the gift card only to find it had a $ 0 balance. Research discovered that the remaining $ 32 was drained from the gift card later the same day it was originally used. Calls to corporate and the local franchise owner were just a waste of my time as they refused to do anything about it. Needless to say, I am no longer an IHOP customer. Be careful out there folks!

I would leave –5 stars if possible. This was seriously the absolute worst service I have ever NOT received. We walked in at 12:30AM on July 5th. Yes I knew it would be busy seeing as how it was one of the only restaurants even still open(especially on a holiday weekend), but I did not expect to be treated the way we were. We walked in and knew it was going to take a while to eat and that the place seemed severely understaffed, but we waited at the podium to be seated. Two waiters looked at us but didn’t even nod in our direction or make any indication that they would be right with us. We waited anyway. A server finally walked over and asked us if it was just the two of us. He proceeded to pull menus and look for a table on the seating/floor plan. We started walking to the back of the restaurant and saw PLENTY of open tables and booths. We turned the corner and another waiter walks up to the guy taking us to our seats and tells him, loud enough for us to hear but not directly to us, that«they» have placed a «hold on the door» and will no longer be seating anyone(even though there are at least 10 open four tops/booths) for 30 minutes. We all look confusedly at him wondering what«hold on the door» even means. Seriously, did he pull this phrase out of his ass? This is IHOP, you’re not the bouncer at Lizard Lounge. He tells us(the other server) that the kitchen is so backed up that they can’t handle any more orders for at least 30 minutes. We start walking back to the entrance following the server because the rude ass IHOP bouncer tells us we couldn’t sit down. At all. I asked the server who tried to seat us what was going on and why we couldn’t just sit down and have a drink and wait for 30 minutes and he was SO clueless as to what was happening that I began to think the other waiter/bouncer really did pull the«hold on the door» straight from his ass. The whole situation was handled terribly. I don’t care how busy you are, there’s NO excuse for refusing service. NONE. We will NEVER be back to this IHOP. We actually went to the IHOP off of 75 in upper Greenville, were acknowledged and seated within 3 minutes and even got our food within 10 and it’s packed in here. So yeah, a «hold on the door» my ass.

Worst service ever! We waited nearly an hour for our food. Everyone who was seated after us got their food way before us. The waiter avoided us at all times. We had to ask for everything a waiter should already know to do such as refills, creamer, straws, etc. no greeting when we sat down and no updates on where our food was. We asked four times where it was and his response«oh, about 5 – 10 minutes» and yet it never showed up. I don’t even want to give this place one star. We didn’t even get to get our food because we literally had enough of all the waiting.

One of the waiters gave me super good service(think his name is Keith). We came in late at night after a long night of dancing and mentioned that we were really thirsty before ordering our food, and he brought out 4 waters for us! He was attentive and very friendly, and if I get the chance to, I’ll come to this I-Hop instead of other ones if I’m in the area.

I-Hop is usually fairly consistent but this meal wasn’t the most memorable by a long haul. The bacon was greasy and not crispy whatsoever. The eggs were cooked well with cheddar cheese mixed in. The Cinnamon Swirl French toast was sweet and sloppy. Our server, Jeremy, was awesome and attentive.

Came for late dinner at 8:45 pm. Waited for 35 minutes to get our meal. Eggs were burnt, hash browns burnt. Potato soup, sat on the heat window so long it was potato pie. Our server Eric didn’t come by to check on us after we got the crappy food. This IHOP has gone down hill over the years. Don’t give them your business.

Had a breakfast here with my wife yesterday morning. Food was good but timing was awful. A party of 4 that sat down 20mins after us somehow got their food first, wtf. Whatever, super annoying. Our server came around all of like 4 times. Food was average IHOP breakfast, not SUPER great but ALWAYS better than Denny’s.

I’ve come to this IHOP several times over the years, and each time my experience gets worse. We arrived at 8:15 on a Sunday morning and the restaurant was virtually empty. After waiting for several minutes while two workers finished their conversation, we were sat at a table. Retrieving a high chair for my son took about 5 minutes, despite the empty restaurant. The table was disgusting so I wiped it with a baby wipe, which was black when I finished. Knats circled the table while we waited to order. Once we finally placed our order, we waited some more. The table next to us, who arrived after us, got their food before we did. While waiting for the food, I started looking out the window and noticed that the windowsill was covered with dead bugs. That was the icing on the cake for me. I don’t expect a lot out of this place, it is a chain after all, but I do expect somewhat decent service and a clean environment.

We had Lucas around 2am. He was the best. The food was exactly what we wanted. I had a fantastic burger with blue cheese and a side of fruit. Also the chicken and waffles was served with hot syrup and was delicious.

I don’t like to give bad reviews, but my experience at this IHOP was horrible. Upon sitting at the table, the table and seat were covered in sticky mess and food. The waiter took our drink order but took a long time to take our food order. We then waited 40 minutes for our food to arrive. When it did, the eggs were rubbery and cold and the pancakes were cold and hard. I usually really like IHOP for breakfast food. The waiters seemed like they were doing their best but I didn’t see a manager or anyone that seemed to be monitoring customers or service. It took forever to pay and I was just ready to go. I hope they can revamp this IHOP because it’s a convenient location and I’ve had good food at other IHOPs before.

I woke up at lunch time wanting pancakes and I was determined to get them. After racking my brain I forgot to think«old-school» and it dawned on me that IHOP still exists. The waitress was very sweet but didn’t pay any attention to us until we sort of called her out on it. The food was cold when it got to us but tasted good enough. If your only desire is to eat pancakes then you’ll be happy. Expect nothing more.

I know that in Dallas, that IHOP isn’t sexy, but there’s no better place to relive some childhood memories! It’s a great place to bring kids for breakfast– I appreciate that their kids menu has pictures of all the food so my toddler can order by herself. Seriously, it’s not a place you’re gonna brag you went to for breakfast, but the food is good, the prices are inexpensive and the place is really clean and nice. No complaints here!

This place has two listings so I’m putting my review on both listings. Negative stars PUH-LEESE! Worst restaurant experience evah. My daughter would have been better off starving. The service was disprespectful and bad. Hope the waitress got her date with the security guard since that was her primary focus. I sent my daughter in to meet her friends after their musical performance. I’m parked in the car out front. I can see them through the window. I know they were behaving fine. I can also see their waitress and the security guard flirting through the window instead of taking care of the table. I’m texting my daughter because it’s time for us to leave. She has been trying to get the waitress to bring her check for over 20 minutes. She is finally waiting by the kitchen door to catch her waitress so she can get the check and pay. Still nothing. I have to get out of the car, go inside and ask someone to please allow us to pay for our food. I am told by another waitress«I ain’t your server.» How about, «I’m sorry. You’re the customer, I know you are frustrated. Let me step in back and see what’s taking so long.» I’m guessing no one at this IHOP knows how to say that. Then we are given the wrong check. Nice… Yeah, I won’t ever go here again. The service has slowly slid downhill over the last three months. And I go here often enough to see it happening. The manager seemed really on top of things when we had a school with a fund raiser. Sadly, after having the waitstaff be so rude, I can’t in righ conscious EVER go in there again. There are too many other places to go. This is Dallas. We have pancakes at places where the servers are not too busy flirty with security to do their job. Part of the problem? I’m guessing they thought they could blow off the teens. WRONG. My daughter tips 20% for adequate service and her cash is the same color green as big peoples’ cash. Tonight however, she left less than a dollar and the waitress – term used loosely – didn’t derserve that much. Maybe she can split it with Miss I-Aint-Your-Server. IHOP – you’re dead to me.
