I have love TCBY since I was little and happy to find one fairly close to where I live. They have always been know for a variety of specialty frozen and soft yogurt. The white chocolate mousse flavor is still one of my favorites and today it tastes as good as it always did many years ago. With yogurt becoming popular again and several different types of stores opening up, there is something about the staples that TCBY carries making it a simple but indulgent choice. I actually prefer TCBY over the fad yogurt places. This specific location has a drive through and a nice inside area. Today I ordered the«regular» size soft serve in a waffle cone. I was really surprised at how big a regular sized ice cream cone is! It was literally enough for two people. I tried the peanut butter flavor and wasn’t too fond of it but the white chocolate mousse was still yummy and one of my favorites. I prefer the soft frozen yogurt here. I highly recommend trying TCBY if you haven’t!

The location has a great staff and you can decide to drive thru. take home or enjoy your treat inside or outside. My staple of white chocolate mousse with rainbow spinkles tasted anazing! I will be back!

Does the acronym stand for This Can’t Be Yogurt or The Country’s Best Yogurt? Either way, standard yogurt for a quick fix. If you get there close to closing time, hit up the drive thru then take advantage of the outdoor seating. There are a couple of tables with umbrellas, a few benches, and 3 Adirondack chairs.

An oldie but a goodie! I’ve been going to TCBY for years and must say that each time I go I am so pleased with how friendly the staff is, how clean the store is and of course, how delicious their fro-yo is! All the other frozen yogurt and ice cream spots in town don’t hold a candle to this!

Its okay. Not impressive nor amazing. Good for late night simple ice cream craving. They also have drive thru, which is very convenient. I have no complaints of the place, thats why I give it four stars. Amazing ice cream would have got them five stars.

I love love love this neighborhood gem… and it has a drive through!!! Drive through frozen yogurt, isn’t that an amazing concept? I love the way TCBY supports the neighborhood. They donate to our schools, they have had days where the local elementary school teachers and administration come serve ice cream and yogurt and the school gets a portion of proceeds. The yogurt and toppings are solid, and if you have a little one, they always have that rancid bright blue and pink cotton candy flavored ice cream that the younger ones like.

So I have been to all those trendy colorful new yogurt spots where you can build your own and pay $ 7 for a lousy yogurt, but nothing compares to TCBY. They even have a drive-thru! So when your lazy butt can’t even get out of the car to get your own desert you just pull up to the window and have the young high school employee schlep it out for you. All you have to do is bring hand to mouth. Ditch the overpriced, hipster yogurt joints and go to TCBY.

TCBY is better than they used to be. I don’t prefer the icy texture yogurts so I stay away from the ‘no sugar added’ flavors. They are overpriced though, in my opinion

TCBY used to be everywhere and now there are just a few randoms. I actually really like their ice cream even though everyone seems to go their for their yogurt.

Today you see so many new and modern yogurt places popping up and people seem to be genuinely excited. Did they forget about this Lakewood staple that’s been here for years? Maybe it’s just me but I’ve always loved TCBY and they’ve continued to provide great desserts for years with perfect service.

We were craving TCBY and according to Unilocal,it said they closed at 11pm. When we got there at 10:30pm, they were already closed. The hours on their doors said they close at 10pm Monday-Wednesdays. You should probably fix your Unilocal hours and not lose customers.

After spending countless hours of wondering in the shower and long road trips… what the hell happened to the old fashioned TCBY’s? I wonder no more. This TCBY has been pristinely preserved in its original condition. No self-serve, no over-abundance of fruit, no trendy tables and seats, and no scales. Rather, just good ol’ folks wanting their parfaits and sundettes with hot fudge and whipped cream. I am also fatter than I used to be.

I can’t tell you the last time I visited a TCBY. All the childhood memories came rushing back to me. I did fight the urge to add every topping to my vanilla soft serve yogurt, unlike my 12 year old self. Although I live in the area, I have just dismissed their sign to be a leftover sign from days gone by. My mistake! If you have ever visited this location, you were sure to not be disappointed . With this hot dallas weather, this place will chill you to the bone. Amazing selections to fulfill you childhood memories. The only thing better is an actual neighborhood ice cream truck! That famous music playing that made you run for that chilled summer treat!

I was craving for ice cream and was very happy to find out they open late(i think was there at 10:30). I took some frozen yogurt with many topping(just talking about makes me want again!) and it was just good. Tasteful, rich and the right portion. It took a star down because the price is a bit high, I will defiantly go back there. Actually I’m going now !

The first and the best, Good old ice cream place. The frozen yogurt is way better then all those Fashion yogurt bla bla places. The young guy was nice and friendly, the service was fast and the price was just right. The ice cream was fresh and tasty as hell. My friend took frozen yogurt with strawberries and enjoyed it as well. They have a great selection of low fat and healthier options for ice cream lover and it’s about time for me to try… I will defiantly go back again.

I love that TCBY offers hand-scooped flavors in addition to soft serve. I prefer the scoopable stuff. All the flavors seem to run around the same calorie range, even the chocolat peanutbutter. Is this witchcraft? Maybe. Even still, I had a rainbow cream on a cone. It looks lke all the bright Play Doh colors smashed together in a delicious mash that is simply vanilla flavored. So simple yet so fun for the child inside all of us that wishes for a blue tonge! My husband went a bit healthier than myself with a frozen Greek yogurt with fresh berries mixed in. It’s like a Blizzard on a diet yet totally delicious!

I am soooo effing lazy. I think it’s psychedelic raingbow sorbet that I like… and at 10 p.m. when I’m craving it I don’t even have to get out of my car. They are open until 11 p.m. They do not judge me. I pull up and bark my order into the little box and they young person at the drive thru is all nice and happy to give me my giant sweet frozen goo at 10 p.m. They don’t say, «Ma’am, you’ve been here every night this week.» «The flavor is blue, your mouth will totally turn blue if you eat it.» They don’t even mock the fact that I’m getting in the the chocolate dipped waffle cone reversing any calorie savings of the yogurt. And then I throw money in the window, take my yogurt and drive away. «Suckerzzzzz.»

WHYDIDTHEYALLCLOSE?! Do you remember when you were a kid and you got ice cream? No fixings, just good ice cream and everything was alright in the world, even if you just got a whopping? That’s because it was at TCBY. They have amazing ice cream and frozen yogurt. No need for toppings here(but you can if you wish). If you go here you have to try the flavor White Chocolate Mousse. It is heaven in a waffle cone and get this… it’s 98% fat free. SHUTUP I KNOW! i got the medium waffle cone which was about 4 bucks. They have different sizes to fit every desire. They even have a drive through in which, if your in a hurry always like me, it’s a great feature to get a smile to go. Or if you want to sit inside or out on a small patio, you have options. Staff is always friendly and quick and I’ve never had a problem as many times as i go… and i do go… I included some pictures for you. I promise the ice cream looked like a picture when they handed it to me. I just couldn’t help myself… :)

TCBY reminds me of childhood. My friends and I used to hit it up frequently for parfaits. This is where I learned I disliked frozen gummy bears, but couldn’t stop myself from always getting them in my yogurt. Currently, my yogurt obsession is of the tart kind. I love being able to pile on the fresh fruit, walnuts and mochi. But, with TCBY so close and having just eaten at ZuZu’s around the corner, we figured why not. Fresh fruit isn’t an option here. I peered at the strawberries which were the syrupy variety. Ick. White chocolate mouse with heath bar then. It was good for something sweet, but def. not a habit I’m going to pick up. The buy one get one happy hour special they have was a pleasant surprise though.
