Well it is just grandy’s. No fries ready to serve. Nearly 11am and the breakfast buffet, or what was left of it was out. The store didn’t look very well run. got tired of waiting for the fries to go with my order so deferred to mash potatoes help this process move forward. Well it is just Grandys.

This place needs more credit and reviews! We are here in Dallas for a cheer comp… Coming from Houston and seeing a GRANDYS is like wowzers! Haven’t had this since I was 10 which was 18 years ago! I couldn’t wait to bring my dad. At first I was skeptical because of the area… But as soon as we walked in I knew it would be the same! And it sure was! Chicken fried chicken, catfish and nuggets were all super yummy!!! I deff give them a 5! Service was awesomeness the staff was very sweet and friendly, brought our food over to us!

It’s Grandy’s. Old. Go if you have no other options. Waited 15 minutes for potatoes. Biscuit was undercooked and runny like spoiled milk.

On our trip to Dallas, My buddy mentioned Grandy’s and how epic it was when he was younger. He vowed we go eat here before we left. So on sunday afternoon on our way home to Austin, We found one on the south side of town. Holy. F.
Ill admit, this place was awkward to be in for a bit. And by that I mean that we were the only ones of Caucasian descent. But that didnt matter because as soon as I bit into my chicken-fried steak sandwich, I was in heaven.
Go. At least once. Its worth it.
