I found a really nice pair of shoes in my size at Finish Line on Monday, but decided not to buy it that day. Wednesday, I went to the website to order the shoes. They showed as still in stock at the store, so I set up a pick-up order to save shipping costs. At about 10:30pm, I received an email that my order was canceled, as the items were not in stock. I called in the morning to verify they were not in stock, then went to the website to order a delivery to my house. But, on the website, the shoe price had gone up $ 18 overnight. After two transfers, I was directed to an agent who took my order by phone. When I heard the shipping price, I asked to get the items shipped to the store to take advantage of free shipping like I did on the web the day before. I was told the only way to get the free shipping was to go to the store and have them order the shoes there, though they were uncertain if they could honor the previous day’s price.(The store is 12 miles away). I gave up and agreed to get a shipment to my home, which in my state is taxable. My overall penalty for Finish Line having an inaccurate inventory listing and rapidly changing sales prices: $ 10. No one at Finish Line apologized for the inaccuracies, nor seemed concerned about getting them fixed. As of this writing, the Finish Line website still shows the shoes in stock.

We are loyal customers of Finish Line and have been for some time. However, when my husband stopped at the North Park location to return a pair of shoes, not only were the THREE employees in the store in no hurry to assist him, they even told him there was nothing they could do about the $ 20 Rewards card we had used towards the shoes. We were told by customer service that if the store manager could not handle this transaction, to call Customer Service while in the store. He asked them to do this and they said they couldn’t, there was nothing they could do. In fact, none of them even greeted my husband when he walked in, they were talking in the back of the store and he had to go ask for assistance. I am fairly certain that at 10:00AM on a Thursday morning, the store is not slammed with customers. The other issue is your return policy when it comes to the $ 20 Rewards we have earned as loyal customers. I understand it has to be returned on a gift card, but make sure your employees know how to handle this and avoid making it such a pain in the butt for customers.

I purchased a pair of shoes online last Sunday. Got an email saying I could pick up in stores Monday. Upon arrival I was then told they had sold the shoes to someone else. The store employee then said he would have them overnighted from a nearby store. Two days later I’ve received nothing except for the around. I called the store today and was placed in hold for ten minutes then eventually spoke with«Alan» who told me they didn’t even carry that color in the style of shoe I wanted. Wow. I have now called customer service and they said that a store in El Paso is sending them to me… In the next two days? If I were the regional manager for this store i would be upset. Actually if I were the regional manager I assume I would be fired if I were responsible for these sort of employees.

Finish line always seems to have some of the best colorways that I’m looking for. They have such a large variety of shoes from all different price ranges. I have always encountered very helpful staff willing to answer any and all of my questions. I found the shoes I wanted but couldn’t stomach paying at another one of their stores knowing they didn’t earn my sale. I decided to head over to this location and was promptly greeted by Barbara who was quick and knew all about the recent free run relaunch. We talked about a variety of different shoes and I finally got exactly what I wanted and the service was great. I will definitely go back since they are less packed then Nike or foot locker. They have much better service and your not wearing the same shoes as one hundred other people when you leave the store.
