The food was fantastic. We just happened to stumble into this place because Babbs Bro BBQ was closed. Lucky for us! For an appetizer, we had the Chicken Tinga(wow!!). For dinner, we had the short ribs drunken noodles(delish and huge portion) duck fat fried rice(good), and the chicken and broccoli(best I’ve ever had). We had to try desert too! We had all three desserts. Their pineapple upside down cake was oh so good!!! I love the coconut ice cream with ginger fortune cookie too!

An incredible sensory experience! Begin with the smooooth The Good, The Bad, The Weird cocktail or Bloody Mary. Sample the duck egg rolls, guacamole and elote. Savor the duck fat rice, ramen and fat noodles. The host and server were knowledgeable, fun and attentive. Chino Chinatown is a jewel nestled in the Trinity Groves!

Had a wonderful meal at Chino! The Edamame egg rolls were very good as was our Talipia tacos. Server & her trainee did an excellent job taking care of us & keeping our drinks filled. Very reasonable priced compared to other establishment’s around them

Chino’s specializes in tacos de trompo, sometimes known as tacos al pastor. They are made of thinly sliced pork which has been marinated in a variety of spices. Chino’s has the best of this variety I can remember having eaten in Dallas. They are accompanied by ample portions of fresh onions, cilantro and lime, and an exceptional creamy green, avocado based salsa. Often tacos al trompo are greasier than other meat selections, but not at Chino’s. The meat is flavorful, tender, and light on the grease-factor. I have also had Chino’s pozole which is excellent. That and menudo are served only on the weekends. Chino’s also serves tortas and has daily lunch specials. You can eat there in the small, but comfortable and colorful room, or do take-out, of course.
