Wow. Idk of I’m just super stoned… But this is delish and the prettiest plate for delivery.

This place was horrible. Upon getting my order they forgot my soda (not that big a deal shit happens) But then I opened the bag, the paper bag was soaked in grease. I opened the orange chicken and they were burnt sauce was bland not good at all. Opened my beef and broccoli, almost all the beef was fat super chewy and disgusting. The sauce was watered down didnt stick to the meat or veg at all. Well like i said i understand shit happens so i called up there to ask about possibly getting my food remade, the lady (who i assumed was the owner) told me «well a bunch of other people ordered it tonight no one else had a problem» Well me being a chef I can understand you have 100’s of orders go out in a night and just one be wrong, honestly not that big a deal. She said i had to come up to the restaurant to solve the problem. once again no big deal.
Once i got up there they 1^st said they couldn’t remake the food for me, ok cool just refund me the money, she said she couldn’t do that either. They then tried telling me while cooking the broccoli it lets out water, no shit but its supposed to be cooked off in the pan. The owner came up basically said i didn’t know what i was talking about and said she WOULDN’T make me new food and WOULDN’T give me a refund. Well luckily i ordered from grub hub and got a full refund.
I’m not upset with the poor service of food, nor am i upset with the refusal of refund. OWN UP TO YOUR MISTAKES AND FIX THEM. Saying you did nothing wrong while serving someone this bull shit you should be ashamed of yourselves.
THIS FOOD MADE ME SICK, THEY SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED. OWNER IS RUDE AND WILL CALL YOU STUPID. DO NOT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY HERE GO TO MCDONALDS INSTEAD, LITERALLY WENDY’S LOOKS LIKE A MICHELIN STARRED RESTAURANT COMPARED TO THIS PLACE. STAY AWAY.
TL;DR Soggy disgusting egg rolls, burnt and tasteless orange chicken, pure fat and watery beef and broccoli then talked down too by the owner and employee’s. FUCK THIS PLACE!!!

You get ALOT of food in one box so my gf and I typically just share one order and get a couple of extra eggrolls. Food is alright, just your typical Chinese food. They deliver so that’s awesome for when you just want to hang out. Good prices for the amount of food.

Just your average Chinese take-​out. Nothing spectacular but not horrible! It does it’s job at satisfying my Chinese kick. Their Orange Chicken and Lo-​Mein is good.
A plus for this store is that they have all-​you-​can-​eat buffets for $ 5.99, Monday-​Saturday from 11 – 3.

First, I want to say that I travel all over the world and most Chinese restaurants lack tremendously on the Customer service skills, but this Chinese restaurant had the most pleasant customer service that I have ever experienced!
The person who waited on me told me to go sit in my car and she would bring me my order to my car. When I go to the Chef House on 4028 Cedar Springs Rd, I look at them bring my food out of kitchen and I have go tell them I want get my order and I know it’s my order because I’m the only in the restaurant!
Secondly, the food was very good! I have just relocated to the Dallas area a few months ago, and this restaurant by far has had the best and most authentic Chinese food.
I have been going to some Chinese restaurants and when I ask for beef fried rice or pork fried rice they look at me like I am speaking in tongues!
In my conclusion, I am a «fat guy» and I ordered one of the daily specials and it was enough food for my wife and myself plus I had leftovers!

I’ve definitely had better. But the price is more than reasonable and it is a buffet. For its area it has some pretty good food.

I was worried about ordering from here after reading the reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised by this place. It was on time, only took 45 minutes from placing the order to delivery, my eggrolls were crispy, food was warm and yummy. Not the best Chinese food I’ve ever had, but not bad for the price and the fact they are local in Oak Cliff and deliver.

This is a great place for a quick chinese meal. The fried rice and lo mein portions are large enough for 2. I am addicted to the won ton soup and fried rangoons. The staff are friendly and always know exactly what i want when i walk in the door.

I consider myself a regular here. After all, it’s really hard to find decent Chinese in the Cliff ESPECIALLY a place that delivers. We (me and the Mr.) probably order here at least once a month. Tonight we got the orange chicken special with pork fried rice and the chicken broccoli special with pork lo mein. (I like pork…*shrug*) with BBQ spare rib. The food is always hot when delivered and has a good amount of flavor overall. The fried rice is just «ok», the lo mein that comes with the special is pretty plain but not bad but the chicken broccoli is YUMMY… it has a good flavor and crisp veggies. The orange chicken is basic, not my fave place for orange chicken, but it’s still good. The rib has a slight gingery taste that is a nice finish and the meat is not TOO tough. And the portions are big enough to where we always have lunch leftovers for the next day. Overall, the food is good, cheap, and they deliver in oak cliff so it’s a fair win in my book.

I «thought» I found my new go to place for Chinese, however after a few tries I won’t be going back, ever. This place uses a LOT of MSG in every dish and I get extremely sick every time. I don’t understand why they need to use MSG at all. Unless you like nausea and elevated heart rate stay away!

Lucky Rice? Lucky for who? Certainly not anyone who lives in Oak Cliff and was hoping for delicious Chinese food. Maybe we can call it Vaguely Fortunate Rice as that is how I’m feeling for not getting sick from eating here. The hunt for edible Chinese food in Oak Cliff goes on. My wife and I both agree that our Hot/​Sour Soup and Egg Drop Soup are the worst version of either that we’ve ever had, utterly devoid of flavor and as appealing as drinking warm dish water. We ordered Sesame Chicken and The General’s chicken. They both came as brown gelatinous pieces of fried chicken covered in a sauce that tasted exactly the same for both dishes. Utter garbage and not in a «bad but good Chinese food» kind of way. These guys aren’t even trying and they don’t care that we know it, either. Skip it, Oak Cliff!

This was the most disgusting Chinese food I have ever had. The delivery took over an hour and when the food got here, it was cold. My noodles were tasteless and the eggrolls were soggy. I certainly will never be ordering from Lucky Rice 888 again.

This was our first time to order from Lucky Rice 888. It was a busy Sunday evening so it took about an hour for delivery. It was well worth the wait. Very ample portions and very reasonably priced. I wasn’t able to finish my order and will have a YUMMY lunch for tomorrow. Well worth a try. We will definitely order from them again!

If you are environmentally friendly, this may not be the place for you. Their convenience is actually genius in my book. Styrofoam plates, bowls, plastic forks and spoons adorn the buffet area. The buffet is small with about three entrees, a veggie, rice and noodles. But for $ 5.49 what can you expect? You don’t have to get the buffet. You can get food by the pound to take out or eat there, or you can order from a menu from a select list of items. Reasonably priced, not fancy and you can throw your plate away before going back to the buffet.
