Had a snack here tonight, we got sat right away, got our drinks right away, this however is the only good thing about our service. Finally got our food ordered 15 minutes in. We ordered an app and a bowl of soup. We asked to get them at the same time, didn’t happen. Not really a big deal only when the server dropped off our food, that was the last time he came to our table. We never got silverware napkins or a check back. My huband had to get up and refill his own coffee get us napkins. The manager came by but only seemed to make excuses for the 2 yes 2 servers we were supposed to have. It was super slow. Not sure what the deal was but my husband and I are both in the hospitality business. They could have made a great tip. The food was ok. Note: don’t get the fried pickles, they are all thick with a hard batter. We couldn’t eat them. The cheese curds were good though. This was at the Knox location in Dallas.

Me and a friend came in to this Chillis to just have some us time and unwind. From the moment we walked in, the waiter(Marcus) was very rude. Walking around with attitude. Walking with such arrogance, we had to tried to order but Marcus had even walked away from us while we were trying to place our appetizer order. When he finally decided to come around we had placed an order for drinks but unfortunately my friend did not have her id. We decided to leave. He then started to yell at us, thinking the reason was because he wouldn’t serve us drinks. But the fact was because he was being such an asshole. Marcus just made you loose a frequent patron from the Knox Chilli’s.. I’ll take my money elsewhere.

Very small tables and crowded set up. I went with a friend and her gritted foods all came out overly oily. They did have plenty if tv screens to watch the Thursday nite football game. This definitely is a chili’s location that I would make my regular.

I am a long time Chilis patron. In fact, I used to go to the original on Greenville but noticed it is gone now. My dad loves Chilis and growing up we went a lot, so I think I got a little burned out. I think the quality is lowish. It is great for bar food but I think there better options like Vickery Park down the street. Tons of food options. Decently priced. Nice, clean atmosphere. They have a bar area with TVs if you want to watch a game but I don’t think they have game audio playing(just Muzak). Their beer selection is pretty boring, no craft beer. Boo!

Chili’s has gone downhill. Seriously downhill. We came here this weekend at 11:30 on a Saturday. The hostess tried to get us to sit in the bar area so we could stay ourselves, but my mother-in-law has a hard time climbing onto the tall seats. She was disappointed that she had to seat us. Ten minutes later we were greeted and our drink orders were taken. Another 45 minutes later our food arrived. I was blown away by the slow service right around opening time. There were literally four other tables. I ordered the big mouth bites and they were lukewarm at best. The fries are frozen and then fried. You could tell. My husband ordered the ribeye fajitas with an add on of shrimp. He got a whopping six pieces of shrimp that were tiny tiny. He said his ribeye was unseasoned and gross. My husband who can stomach anything didn’t finish his meal or take home the leftovers. Chili’s, we must part ways. You have nothing for me anymore.

Went there yesterday for dinner. Waitress was very nice. Halfway through my steak meal, the waitress called over another waitress and they were looking under my table. There was a mouse in my booth. They called over the manager, who said absolutely nothing and walked away. By this time, I had my feet up on the seat of the other side of the booth and the mouse wasn’t moving. After a minute or so, I said I wanted to move. My waitress apologized, and moved me to the other side of the restaurant.(She said they would close that side of the restaurant.) At first I thought the mouse probably just walked in through an open door. That’s until I later heard two waitresses talking about the two mice in the restaurant. Long story short, no apology from manager and I paid full price for my mouse-ruined experience. Won’t go back.

If I could not give this chilis locations any stars it would be more appropriate. My wife and I have given this location several chances to win us back, when in reality we have just been fooling ourselves. It is sad because we love all other chilis yet this one just does not care. That’s point blank and period. I wish i could have taken a picture of the RAW strips I got last night but I did not want to disgust anyone else. Now the manager did try to solve the problem, but it only took way too long. When the new strips came out, they were Raw again !!! That was last time we ever come back. We wont even get into the hostess situation and the waiter lady that we always see sitting down with obvious friend customers of hers and never attends to her tables.

Now to start off I will say that I worked at Chili’s for years and I know what to expect from their service. With that being said this Chili’s is known to have slow service and it holds up to it by never being fast. Lets start with the food, I usually order a steak at Chili’s because they are not bad for a very affordable price at a chain restaurant. With that being said I never order steak anymore at this Chili’s. My wife and I have both ordered steaks on 5 different occasions and it has been way over cooked every time; I order Medium Rare for the sake of this review. The managers have been good and taken care of it quickly every time which is a plus but is also annoying having to wait the extra time, every time. Now when we go we get burgers, the new burgers since the menu change are way better than the old Chili’s ones when I left there a year ago and they seem to always get my burger right. The food does taste good when I get it so that’s a big plus. the staff is always friendly although a little slow like the kitchen. Unless you are drinking beer on happy hour I would not suggest buying drinks, this is not a knock on this location, its a knock on all Chili’s. The price of liquor and beer has went way up while other competing places have made their drink prices more competitive. This saddens me because Chili’s always had the best kept secret, 24 hour happy hours on domestics and house margs. To close: It is exactly what you expect form a Chili’s franchise food wise, service is a little slow but nothing too crazy and the drink are slightly high unless on happy hour.

I love Chili’s Knox and have been going for years. Casual, affordable, and good portion sizes. I have gotten to know several of the waiters and they take good care of me and whoever I’m with. If there is ever an issue, a manager is nearby to help. One of my go-to spots.

We have been coming here for many years. I’ve left many reviews. We don’t dine in the restaurant much, but every other week my husband and I come and sit in the bar. We order a few drinks, dinner and play trivia! We have an awesome time. It’s our date night and the customer service is great! We try to get Michelle, and when we do, never disappointed. She knows how to provide top notch customer service. I’ve been a little rough with my reviews here over the years, but I’ve seen a definite improvement, they really care and want to improve their customer experience. I applaud them for this and that is why(plus Michelle) I’m giving them a 5 star. Caring about what your customers think is a huge part of it, and they have shown they care. Kudos to Chili’s i30 Mesquite/Garland. Keep moving in this direction.

I’ve come here several times, hoping each time would be different. There is never a host/hostess at the host booth, takes about 15 minutes just to get seated even if it is not all that busy. Waiters always seem distracted and in a hurry… They never even come to check on your table. It seems like the only time they come out is when the bill is out. The food always takes a long time to get to the table, one time an APPETIZER took almost an hour to come out. Horrible.

Very slow service and no one to seat you. Do not touch the computer as it will charge your bill extra for touching it. Wait staff never returned to check on me to see If I needed anything else. Tried to pay by the computer but it would not work correctly. I have dined here many times and usually service is great and so is the food. They seemed to be very short handed as the poor hostess was having to bus the tables as well. The most frustrating part I think was the pay at the table machine, which in my experience at several Chili’s, they don’t work and they give your waiter the option to just forget you once you receive your food.

Great food, even better service. Everyone is way friendly and very efficient. I felt very welcome and had a great time sitting here having dinner with my partner for veterans day. Even though the staff is busy they took the time to see that all our needs were met. I will definitely be coming back here again.

It’s a Chili’s, y’all. You know the drill. I haven’t been to a Chili’s in awhile, and the menu has certainly changed a lot over the last few years. This Chili’s may have been remodeled or either I just haven’t been to it in a while. The restrooms were easier to get to and there were more than 2 stales for the women. Woohoo! I had the old timer with cheese. It’s a pretty decent burger. Thew new garlic pickles you can add on really made the burger stand out. The fries were awesome too. Cooked every nicely to have a bit of a crunch, but soft inside. Also noted is the presentation of the food has been taken up a notch. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very nice and johnny on the spot. Sometimes when you have a gift card or just want to go to a Chili’s this is a great one to choose.

Great attention by the wait staff and their attention to our wait for our food made this visit to Chili’s a good one. The Staff did a great job keeping us interested as we waited for our meals. They tag teamed in the bar and it made a Saturday night out very enjoyable. My chicken crispers were great, the burger was cooked well — everything tasted very good. Thank you!

Wow. I’m not a big Chilis fan, but this location has made me a changed man. I came here with two friends and we sat on the side patio. It faces the Katy Trail and is shaded and blocked from the harsh sun. The waitress also greeted us and sat us down at our table and wow, was she nice. I did not catch her name, but it was 5 star service the whole time. She was credible with the menu and comedic. She really made our lunch enjoyable. We had an appetizer, entrée, and each a drink and it was under $ 12 a person. I was shocked. The food was tasteful and the waitress just made it all that much sweeter. If you sit in the bar area, they have self-checkout centers on all the tables. It allows you to review your receipt and swipe your card yourself from the comfort of your table and you can even leave gratuity. That’s impressive.

It’s a chain so expectations were adjusted accordingly, but it was bad. It was kind of dirty inside. AC was way too cold. We had ridiculously slow service(over 90 mins for drinks and 3 appetizers). My food made me sick. My friends food made them sick. Won’t be back to this location ever again.

I’m not big on chain restaurants, but I stopped by for a quick dinner before the cowboys game. I was seated at a table in the bar area and I must say the rebranding of chili’s is done fairly well. The menu hasn’t changed much, but they have made the bar area feel more like a sports bar. There are larger flat screen TVs and the back lighting on all the liquor is quite trendy. As always, the service is always good & the staff is friendly. Your drink is never empty.

My homegirl and I went here twice! The first time, we ended up walking out because getting our To-Go order placed took too long. The 2nd time, yesterday, we came at 12 noon. The restaurant had patrons but it wasn’t full. We sat outside(it was cold inside) and basically, the waitress didn’t really seem friendly or engaging. She took our order, messed up my friend’s drink order, then plopped a ticket that combined our orders without checking on us. Yeah, naw, see there’s better places to eat. I’ll go to On the Border or Starbucks — both in walking distance — next time.
