The nail tech I followed to this salon left to start her own salon, and the other person I really liked there left, too. I did not have luck with any of the others, and there seemed to be new people being trained around the time I stopped going there, so … I am following my nail tech or switching to a new salon. Also, I found that the set up of the chairs in circles facing outward means you can’t chat with a friend during a mani/pedi.

Not at all happy with a mani/pedi I recently received at this nail salon. I had requested gel on both my fingers and toes, but noone mentioned a $ 20 up charge FOREACH. That’s way more than most places, so needless to say my service was $ 88 before tip. To top it off, the toe color does not look near the sample I chose and my finger nails were not painted on the sides, nor did they trim the skin around the nails in my manicure.

I was going here somewhat regularly because it is close to Tom Thumb and convenient when I do grocery shopping on the weekends. I have gotten manicures, pedicures, brows and massages here. They are almost always empty and just sitting around and now I realize why. When I walk in they are not friendly, do not smile and seem to be bothered. I got a massage and the lady did not greet me but just sat me in the corner on one of the massage chairs and gave me a lackluster massage. The salon has no energy, there isn’t a good customer service attitude or a pleasant experience. It seems like you are a bother and they’d rather be left alone! When I signed the slip to pay, the lady stood over me while I filled out the tip portion too– haha! I will never go back. Pedi Spa a block over on Preston and Royal was a much better experience. They greeted me with smiles, sat me promptly with a beverage and gave me an amazing food rub that was worth every penny. When you want to relax on the weekend, the attitude and customer service helps a lot! Nail Time is not worth a visit unless they improve their customer service experience.
