A previous coworker of mine had introduced this place to me. It was and still is one of the most random food spots I have ever been to. The name and menu are all straight from the stoner world. Haha. The food here is just great, though. It is simple but filling — the hot sausage link Wake N Bake is my go-to everytime. I should probably try something else next time, but the stuff here just hits the spot when you want some comfort food. Once you are done eating, you can round the plaza corner to 7 Leaves for a Thai iced tea to really complete the meal! The service here is simple, quick, and friendly. The cashiers and cooks you see all seem to be close knit, which is good to see.

Can’t get enough of the bacon fried rice! Food is so good definitely a food coma after. And the fried shrimp is so perfectly crispy. My boyfriend loved how the spam was cooked and our meals never disappoint. Service is great not too long of a wait!

Their to-go menu says that Kush means«Happy» in Farsi, but I think we all know what the other implication is. True to its name, Kush Bowl turns out dank food that will leave you feeling high… on life. This little joint is a stone®s throw away from a car wash… in fact, it is inside the waiting area. To be blunt, the menu items are quite simple, but I will give them credit for carrying them out very well. So, roll up with your bud(s) and toke – I mean, try them out! I chose one of their wake’n bake’n dishes: hot links fried rice with over easy eggs($ 7.50). It didn’t come out very quickly, but you have to keep in mind that it is made to order, so don’t expect fast food times even though it appears to be in a fast food location. They do have a small dine-in area, and I was given a number and the cashier brought out the plate to me. Those hot links are perfection! They were spicy and yummy, and went well with the perfectly seasoned fried rice. The portion was good too, just enough to fill me up. Overall not a place to go out of your way to try, but it is nice if you happen to be in the area as an affordable, non fast food option. For me, it was a «hit!»(okay, that was my last bad weed pun. Sorry.) Food: 4, Service: 4, Environment: 2, Price: 3

Love this place. 1st time I had it I fell in love! Always come here when I’m Hungry and in the area. I gave 5 stars because it’s nice and lowkey, it’s never been to crazy packed when I go in there which is awesome for me. I hate super busy restaurants. Food taste great ever had a issue wit customer service. I deffently recommend.

This place is located inside the car wash that sits in the Home Depot parking lot. I felt a little weird walking in, but it’s on your right hand side as soon as you get past the doors. Once you order your food, they yell it back to the cooks, and ask if you want it for here or to go. If you say for here, your food is served on a plate vs. take out cartons. I ordered just a regular teriyaki bowl — snapper size — with brown rice. The flavor was good, but man, the portion was tiny. Word of advice? Just get the regular size. I paid $ 5 for maybe 10 small pieces of chicken. They leave little bottles of different sauces alongside the counter, so you can grab as you please. I’ll stick to my teriyaki bowl go-to…but it looks like this place specializes in a few other dishes. This place might be a hit or miss, depending on what you order. Choose wisely!

Ever since this placed changed owners it’s gone completely downhill. I used to love this place! Prices went up, customer service is whatever, and the food tastes different! I started coming here in 2011. I don’t think I’m ever going back.

Why so many stars? Me no understand. I called in for togo order and the person was SUPER rude. It was my first time trying this place, so I didn’t really know how the whole menu worked. I asked them to explain, but instead got a rude response with not much explanation. Uhm okay. I ordered the bacon fried rice and it was so salty I couldn’t eat it without sipping on my drink every other bite. Plus, this place was hard to find. It’s inside a carwash? Confused. I probably can make better fried rice at home.

Loved this place! $ 5 original chicken bowls, you can add bacon for $ 2 or an egg for $ 2.5, I had original chicken all veggies and avocado, that were bumpin’ ice cube. This place is what’s up – will be back! It’s in a car wash too!

Unilocal Challenge 2015. 246⁄365 After a good workout I get to load up on carbs. Kush Bowl is on the way home from the gym and supplies me with a quick dose of carbs, protein and veggies. The veggies are simple, cabbage, carrots and broccoli. So all you do is pick your size, pick your protein, pick your carb then add your extras. That’s how you do it. I go with the medium bowl and the beast of mine gets the Master combination bowl. Both topped with green onions. By the way, Kush is inside a car wash, on Lincoln and Valley View near The Home Depot. It is open till 8:00pm. Plenty of parking right in front which makes it super easy to get in and out in a flash. Dinner for 2 was $ 17.00. A little more expensive than your average bowls. Super friendly service. #729

Support local… This location is the visual definition of what that means. This was my second attempt trying to locate the restaurant with just trying to rely on GPS and it was a bit confusing until I realized that this place was mixed in with the carwash location. It is a bit confusing when the more popular hangout spot is literally behind this location but nonetheless it proved to be worth the expedition. The menu is simple and the only way I can fully describe it is «build your own loco moco.» Pick the size you want, rice and protein(s) then sit back and try not to drool all over the place while you get bombarded with the smell of the savory meal you’re about to indulge. As a kitchen bum, I’m all about flavor: price:portion ratio and this place does it right. For less than 10 dollars I’m blown away by the umami and walking away satisfied to the point where I am craving more even if my stomach is telling me «no.» It’s simple service and simple food… just like being at home without worrying about the clean up of pots and pans.

The location is a little odd but the staff is super friendly and the music is good(atomic dog, shes a bad maama jamma, brickhouse…). Its only obvious the inspiration behind the name of the place and the«wake’n bake’n» dishes I ordered us. Also got some fries for the boys to share. Prices are reasonable and the food seems to be cooked to order which is always great

This place is great for lunch and it’s located inside a car wash so if you do need a car wash, you can get food and eat while you wait! My husband ordered the fried rice with hot links and I got a customized bowl with brown rice, chicken, and a fried egg. I wanted to add avocado but they didn’t have any ripe ones. This was the perfect stop while we ran errands.

This is definitely a cross between Flame Broiler/Waba Grill and maybe Guppy Teahouse(just because of their bacon fried rice). I can definitely say that it’s better than Flame Broiler. I ordered a teriyaki chicken bowl with bacon fried rice and veggies. Came out to $ 8 flat. Not too bad for the amount of food I got. It was a black, square to-go box but boy did they fill that bad boy up! I was pretty shocked with how everything tasted. I overestimated how the bacon friend rice was going to taste from reading all of the reviews. To me, I thought the bacon fried rice was a little too salty. After 3 bites, I was running for the water! It did have somewhat of a good flavor, but not the best. The teriyaki chicken was good though. Mostly moist chicken pieces, some dry but bearable. The hot sauce was not hot. It could’ve had a little more spice to it but it’s okay. Overall experience, 3⁄5. Willing to give this joint another try though.

Kush Bowl is located inside a car wash. The best of both worlds, getting a car wash while eating at the same time. The beef and the chicken plates are decent, but I usually come here for the Hot Links Fried Rice(Fried rice, eggs and sausages). The Hot Links Fried Rice used to be 6 bucks, but recently they raised the price to 7 dollars, which it still a great price comparing to other teriyaki places. Oh, they also do stamp cards too, buy 9 and get the 10 one for FREE. One of my friends is obsessed with the Chargrilled Chicken Salad. He kept bugging me about it, saying how the salad is delicious and I should give it a try. But C’mon, I am a type of person who do not pay money for salads. Not in my nature. However, a few days ago, he suggested that we should go to Kush Bowl for dinner. He ordered the salad and as I was about to order the Hot Linked Fried Rice, I remembered that I went to the gym earlier and I should try to be healthy for at least day. I ended up ordering the salad and it was so good. The best part has to be the raspberry sauce. So bomb. Surprisingly, I was full even though it was a salad. Overall, I would recommend the Hot Links Fried Rice and the Chargrilled Chicken Salad.

Service is great. However it does get hot in there. I would recommend to order take out. Especially if you like eating spicy, since you’ll be sweating. Lol. I always order their fried rice with either the hot links or their beef kabobs. :)

I have come here so many times, and the food is always consistently good. Before I came here, my fiancé would frequently tell me about the bacon fried rice here and how amazing it was, and I finally decided to try it for myself. I’ve ordered the chicken and beef kush bowls so far with bacon fried rice, and out of the two, I definitely prefer the chicken kush bowl. You can specify if you want all white meat chicken too, which I think is the best. When I have ordered the beef, it’s been a little fatty before, and I am not a fan of that. The bacon fried rice is consistently great. I like to add sriracha sauce to it so that it is spicier, and luckily, it’s always had a lot of bacon. The employees are always very nice here, and in the few times I’ve been here, I’ve always gotten my food fairly quickly. They have a lot of sitting room to eat including both tables and couches which are surprisingly comfortable. They also have a huge beverage selection as well as a dispenser for water. This place is attached to a car wash so you could easily grab a good lunch here while your car is getting washed.

I’ve came across this place on Unilocal once and thought it was extremely odd for it to be in joint with a car wash. A month later my sister from NorCal told me about this place… you don’t have to tell me twice. So one Monday evening after interning at Cypress Community College, I decided to check this place out. Ambiance Parking | PLENTY of parking. It is shared with Home Depot and other shops, though there’s other shops it’s not exactly the must be plaza. Seating | Seating is all inside near it’s corner of the convenience store. Good for 4 people or even individuals. If you’re lucky, you can dine and watch cars wash. Feels | Random… just random yet pretty cool! You’ll be hearing the sounds of alternative music and be simply chilling in a convenience store. I came here in the evening, so it was pretty quiet paired with a pair of people. Not exactly the date night place but a great place to stop by if you’re doing some long traveling. Food: Sesame Spam Fried Rice(Recommended) Excellent presentation and delicious flavors. It’s quite a fulfilling meal as you get your eggs and fried Spam. Be sure to add some condiments(chili sauce, sriracha, teriyaki sauce) to season it up. Customer Service: My servers were energetic and polite. The order took longer than I expected(7 – 10 minutes) but nothing unbearable. The presentation was excellent so I can understand the extra effort. Overall: 4 stars. Not the MUST place to be but definitely one of a kind. Cypress isn’t known for much but it can tell the tale of how there’s a delicious restaurant in a car wash station. The food was great, price was reasonable, and the experience was unique. I can see myself coming here after a long day coming from Cypress College. TL;DR Tips: * RSVP ahead of time for better seating * The car wash business is separate from the store thus you can’t buy car wash food and drinks from them and operation hours are different.

I stopped by Home Depot to get some screws for some DIY project. Without any warning, there was a lingering smell of spam… I followed the smell and I found myself at the doorstep of a carwash place. I was like«Am I in the wrong place?». But I still followed my spam instincts and went inside. * Insert heavenly sound effects * It did not take me 10 seconds to spot the word«spam» on the menu. I immediately ordered the wake’n brake’n spam and fried rice with over easy eggs. Hot and tasty fried rice. Perfectly runny over easy eggs. Grilled spam with actual grill marks to top it all. I suddenly had flashbacks of Oahu. It was so damn good. I’d return to try their other items and hope I could hear the heavenly sound effects again.

Inside Cypress Auto spa in home depot plaza. BOMB Spam fried rice with egg $ 6.50, think ill be craving the say after(hangover food or a friend also calling this place as faded food). Takes 10−15min to make. Seems like a to go place, or quick but tasty eats place. Not the cheapest quick bite. Takes credit card, plenty parking. Near frostbite if want desert after. $ 14 for two meals: Master Bowl and Spam fried rice. Like a car wash cafeteria. Open daily 9pm except Sunday 8pm.
