Service was good. Food was not. Plus food came out way too hot, couldnt even take a bite. Will never return.

Bland, that about sums it up. Everything except the tea is watered down. Salsa, watery, and lacking flavor. The refried beans were okay, the chalupa was okay. The enchilada wasn’t much to rave about. Overall it was an uneventful lunch. I really don’t expect this place to last.

Went to try out laredos bar and grill on exit 13 across from the Avenues. Great service and great food. Who ever the cook is great being unique with the creation and style of taste of food. they have good music playing and service are great and the working are fun to talk to. The drinks are awesome. Deff will make this my weekly spot to come on the weekends to enjoy with my family and friends.

Being relatively new to Unilocal,I haven’t yet had the urge to review everyday places like Subways or Quiktrips, but I kind of feel that way reviewing Laredos. It was okay as far as the usual Mexican place goes. Service there was really good, my waitress and all the employees that passed by were great. The restaurant is clean, music was lively, and overall had a good feel to it. Prices were okay. I had the Chile Poblano, it missed on spice and flavor, but made up somewhat with an above average amount of good melting cheese. Tortillas did not come with the poblano, and $ 1.25 was added when i asked for them. Cheese Enchilada was pretty good. The typical rice and beans accompaniments were the biggest misses of the meal. Both completely lacked flavor. Laredos is ok, but definitely not the best in the area. Not great, not bad, slightly«meh» but extra points for service and atmosphere. I left feeling full and my wallet left $ 13 lighter. I guess after this, I won’t feel so bad reviewing Taco Bell.

Great margarita’s(strong), great cheese dip, and great grilled fajitas. The staff is hit or miss, but mostly they are good. Chris is our favorite, and he recognizes us! My favorite Mexican Restaurant in Cumming, ga.

This is low-end Mexican food. The food is bland, not prepared or presented well. The service was good, but everything else was below what you expect from a cliché Mexican food establishment. Even with buy one, get one coupons, I doubt we will return. There are too many good Mexican restaurants less than a 5 minute’s drive from here.

We’ve been here twice and both experiences were very good. I’d challenge anyone to list a better Mexican restaurant within a 10 mile radius? I’ve been to just about everything in the area and none were as good as Laredos. Cheers!

Had dined here once about a year ago and decided to give it another chance. Started with a house Margarita. The waitress asked what flavor I wanted but did not tell me there was an additional charge to get a flavored one. Not mentioned on the drink menu either. It was about a buck more not a big deal but should have been asked. The food took forever to get to our table — it was 7:00pm on a Wednesday night and I think we were 1 of three tables. The food was very uneventful. There are many restaurants in the area with better food and much better service. Once we were ready to leave we had our check and spotted the waitress hanging out at the bar with her boyfriend. We had to go ask another server to check us out. Needless to say we will not come back. Very sad as this is a great location right across from the Avenues.

I think some of the star ratings for this restaurant have been a little low. No, it’s not high end Mexican fare, but for what it is, I think it’s pretty darn good. My daughter and I started with Queso with jalenpenos, which was very good. We asked for flour tortillas to go with it, and they came nicely warm. We both had a lunch menu item, Chicken Chimichangas with rice and beans. It also was very good, if not a little too large a portion. The server was very accomadating to my quirky request of very, very diluted tea(Teawa if you will), and the service in general was first rate. I’ll be back many more times, and maybe next time it will get 2 or 3 stars… but this time it rated a 4!

Much better Mexican to be had in the area. My friend and I got lunch specials and they were just not impressive. Will not bother to go back.

Eaten here twice now for dinner with my mom. Food has always been good — better than average. By and large your typical fare, but some twists I appreciated such as mushrooms and spinach added to fajitas. Service on our recent visit was friendly but severely lacking.

ho hum… that’s what i felt like when l left Laredo’s. not really much more to it. I ordered the«speedy gonzalez» lunch menu item. I came solo — which made the dining experience even more ho-hum. Good thing is that I paid $ 5 for this lunch. Speedy Gonzalez(i hate that name!) came with 1 enchilada, 1 chicken or beef taco and rice and beans. They did have a nice chipotle salsa that had a kick to it. Other plus — waitress was really nice and service was great. Would i come back for Monday night karaōke(yes they do have it here)? probably not. But i got my quick«cheesy mexican-so-bad-for-you-but-who-cares» meal. ho-hum…

Upon walking in I was truly convinced I had found my new mexican spot complete with a colorful interior and sparkling clean bar to my surprise I was disappointed. All started out well when I received my chips and salsa delcious. I had to work so was unable to sample a margarita although I don’t think I’ll go back even for the margaritas. I ordered a cheese quesadilla… how can you screw up a cheese quesadilla you say? Easy. The cheese. They used the cheese that hardens when you melt it which is unbearable to eat. Needless to say I was not impressed. On the upside the service was friendly and the restaurant is pretty nice.

Stacy G. is correct in calling it samey. No surprises here. I had an enchilada plate with about a half a head of shredded lettuce spread over the top. Who REALLY wants vegetation juice sogging down their enchiladas, honestly? Not me. They were fine once I de-saladized them, though. My mom’s nachos were okay by her, but apparently nothing too exciting. They have Mr. Pibb on tap. I was not a fan of the salsa. It’ll cost you about $ 1 – 2 more than El Porton per entrée, I’d estimate.

You know what south Forsyth needs? Another Mexican restaurant! Yeah! We’ll put it in a strip mall, cool! We’ll create a menu with authentic Mexican cuisine… things like ‘Speedy Gonzalez’ and ‘Special Numero 1′. Perfect! Then we’ll offer free chips and salsa when patrons arrive. How could anyone resist this new and unique dining experience?
