Pretty bad. Portions were small, not many options to add into my «Baja Bowl», a lot of things cost extra. Customer service was mediocre at best. Couldn’t get the student discount which was a free drink because we already had a drink. My friend also tried to get the student discount, and when she asked about it they told her it wasn’t a thing… after they told us that’s what it was. Definitely will not be back. Chipotle and Moe’s are both much better options. Only reason for two stars was for the food. Wasn’t bad.

This place is really good! It’s always clean, the people are friendly, quality ingredients, and the food is really good. I had to go gluten free about 4 months ago and they are one of the few places that truly get it; cross contamination is a really big problem for me, and they take way more steps than most to prevent it. Highly recommended!

Everything is very very good. You can’t go wrong with the sweet pork, my personal favorite. The chicken is great too, has a nice grilled flavor. The steak is cut from fresh amazing steak thick and juicy. The desserts are great. Key lime pie. Tres leches, and flan are all great. Again, sweet pork is unique and amazing. Gotta try it.

per other reviews it is a Moes or Chipotle with some lipstick. nice, clean, bright interior. they make the tortillas right in front of you. which is pretty neat. the foil tray they serve in, is a bit odd/its just deep enough to make it difficult to cut, and scoop out of with a fork, but not a deal breaker. i had a burrito. chicken, charro beans, cheese on the inside, they roll it, then top with a lil more cheese and run it through the conveyor belt broiler to melt/crisp up the tortilla. THEN they top with salsa/pico/lettuce/tom/japs/whatever you want. which is a nice touch. keeps the wet veggies crisp and cool and the tortilla gets a little crisp. but no chips with a burrito??? uggh. i like the textural difference of crispy corn chips with the soft flour tortilla wrapped burrito. they give you a ton of salsa, why not throw in a handful of chips??? that really bummed me out. the burrito was tasty, large, and overall it was a pretty good experience except for no chips! for an $ 11 dollar burrito and drink i WOULD …nay… SHOULD expect a handful of chips WITHOUT an upcharge.

I recently tried this restaurant and must say that I was pleasantly surprised by the diversity of their menu and impressed by the quality of their food. The staff was incredibly friendly and walked you through the ordering process while making suggestions based on your particular taste. I would describe this restaurant as a slightly more upscale Chipotle or Moe’s. I would definitely recommend this location and suggest that anyone with a curiosity for something new to give them a try.

I like this place. I was really hungry, and the food was really good. I took some photos of outside, and inside, the building. This place looks really nice inside. The prices aren’t that bad. One enchilada was small, so I got two. The price was $ 7.59, but it is not a problem. The food does not disappoint.

Second visit at Costa Vida. I loved seeing the rotating pictures and almost got the Mango Chicken Salad but instead ordered a small Sweet Shrimp Salad with Cilantro Lime Dressing. Only concern I had was the servers had to «cook» the shrimp using a toaster conveyor repeatedly till it was done. Also the shrimp was baby sized, didn’t taste sweet at all, and only few pieces at the bottom of the salad. Shouldn’t that be on top of the salad? Would have preferred large or jumbo shrimp for what I paid for the meal. But overall it was fresh and delicious salad. Also, I really didn’t like how the barrier wall is blocking in customers with no room to turn or walk the other way. It feels like a fly trap keeping us in line and no way to escape. I was literally boxed into the line as there were no way customers could get around or ahead of me while waiting on the shrimp to cook.

The food was better than what my wife and I thought it would be. The service was a tad slow and the prices were pretty high for a burrito. After reading through some other reviews, the management says its due to the no preservatives and high quality. I’m not sure its worth the price to come back.

This place seems to be slipping. It used to be consistently good, now it is hit or miss. Last night we had 4 orders. One was forgotten by the line staff before we even got to the register(it was just left on the grill and literally forgotten until we asked them for it). Then we noticed another order wasn’t prepared correctly and had to be redone. Then we noticed the«forgotten» order was missing an item, so we had go back to the counter again to request(the back and forth is a hassle when you just want to sit down and eat). The we noticed the rice and beans were cold… Barely above room temp. The seasoning on the chicken was so salty as to be inedible. We used to love the food here, now we will think twice about coming back. So sad to see a good place go down the drain through sloppy management.

Deeeelicious! This place is better than chipotle, by far. They have what seems like a thousand ways to make a plate of Mexican food. They have everything, Burritos, nachos, tacos, salad, and horchata… Sinfully good. It’s a fast counter service place, but quality is not lacked. Ingredients are wonderfully fresh. I noticed the food through the glass looked like it was just made, not as if it had been sitting in its tin over the warmer for hours… considering it was 5:30PM on a Monday, right before dinner rush. Anywho, I like their burritos. They come with your choice of a sauce(there’s probably 5 – 10 different ones.) You can get queso smothered on top and baked! The first time I went there I wasn’t too sure about that aspect, but I ordered it and ended up loving it. Definitely a family friendly place, easy-going, relaxed atmosphere.

Pretty good place tucked in to the shopping center across from the avenues. Didn’t know this place was here until the groupon deal. Very tasty. Think moes but with a beach vibe? Sweet and hot food with rice and beans. Will be back. Also not Mexican food think island food.

Words to describe my experience: HORRIBLECUSTOMEREXPERIENCE. CROWDED, NOISYDININGROOM. ROBOTICSTAFF. MEAGERPORTIONS. AWFULKNOCK-OFFMEXICANFOOD. EXPENSIVEFORSMALLPORTIONS. GOTOCHIPOTLEORMOE’S. It was the first time my family went to this restaurant and we were not impressed in the least. I kind of thought it would be like a Pollo Tropical(stingy with the protein and very small portion sizes, I don’t like them), and it turned out to be my worst fears. The menu is hard to understand and read when you come in the door, and the little menus placed near the door didn’t have much to them except general categories of entrees and the prices. Poor first impression on walking in the front door. We made it to the front of the line and I saw the only thing that I was truly happy with at this restaurant: the freshly made tortillas. It warmed my heart to see fresh tortillas being made, and the flavor of them was superb. Unfortunately, that was the only thing I liked. My parents each ordered the special, the sweet pork enchiladas, and found themselves with two meager taco-sized enchiladas with barely ¼ cup meat in the whole dish. They had the usual rice side dish with their entrée and ended up hungry when we finished. The burrito I ordered had an appropriate amount of meat on it(only because I asked for more) and ended up tasting not too bad. The beans were watery though, and they don’t put lettuce on the inside of the burrito, but rather, as a salad on the side. Weird. Also, they BROILED my burrito. I DONOTWANTMYBURRITOBROILED. I didn’t even get a choice. Poor burrito. The customer service is terrible at this place. Each employee was moving very quickly and not listening to what we wanted. It was as if they wanted to move us through the line as fast as they could. I understand efficiency, but not at the cost of quality. I had to slow down the guys I was talking to just to get my order right. Where are the managers and the training? Yikes. Never going here again. Where’s my Chipotle?

This was pretty much what I expected. Tasty and quickly prepared, it is like an upscale variety of all of the other chains that are doing the same type of food. The guys making the food were friendly enough. The food station was a little messy so I’d recommend that the manager stay on top of that. I would certainly come back and everyone who likes that Moes/Chipotle/Willys/Qdoba should give it a try. Please add a few super spicy items to the menu!

This place is freaking fantastic. The sweet pork burrito is excellent and so are the nachos. The toppings are fresh and made in front you. This place is setup like a Chipotle/Moes. As you can read from my reviews, Forsyth has a lot of boring chains and I wish we were more like Alpharetta/Roswell as it relates to varied choices. I believe this might be a chain too, but they deserve kudos for being fresh and different.

I loooooooove CostaVida!!! It originated out west where I’m from and to say I was ecstatic when I discovered it was here is an understatement!!! I hope you Georgians take a liking to it, I’d be devastated if it shut down! The prices out here seem cheaper then back home, extra plus! My choices here: grilled chicken salad or the steak burrito with red sauce! You won’t be sad, that is, if you have good taste buds!

Great mexican/Texan style semi-fast food option. Similar to Moes and Chipotle. The added touch they do is that they run the chips with cheese and toppings through over conveyor which evenly heats them without making them soggy. This is my go to place when in the mood for nachos or burritos

Not my flavor palate I guess, I had the carnitas burrito, smothered; I didnt detect any mexican flavors, only garlic salt, onion salt and perhaps a general mexican mix with some chili powder, cumin and oregano blended to discrete invisibility. The meat was tender, the rice and beans were ok but im left with this odd, distasteful flavor in my mouth afterwards. Bottom line, this is your mass market mexican munch-out. You tell them what you want and you move down the line. They really should put the customer on a treadmill that moves with the food. I was surprised a human cashier made change instead of the cash register. But the people are nice, they personalize it somewhat; its the food, kinda blah, not worth going back, its a whole new category of mex fast food, somewhere between the junk at taco belch and your local bad mexican restaurant. Heres the bad part, despite the review, i was warned not to go by my friend who took his family there and he said«it no good, you no like». He was right, but stubborn me, had to challenge him. My loss.

When I walked into Costa Vida, I wasn’t expecting anything spectacular. I figured it would be another«chain restaurant» experience but boy was I wrong. When we told the gentleman behind the counter that it was our first time in the place, he gave us the biggest and loudest welcome! I will say that the customer service we experienced at this place was really like no other. Although our general interaction with the employees was short(you order and get your food before you sit down), we were really blown away at how nice everyone was and how they went over and beyond to provide excellent service. The gentleman who rung us up even brought our tray out to our table and checked on us a couple of times to see if we need refills or to-go containers. This is not service that you’ll get at Chipotle or Moes. On to the food. We ordered 2 kids meals, the special of the day which was a grilled chicken salad with a soda, a burrito, chips and queso. All of this only came to $ 25. Normally we spend at least $ 40 on a regular meal out, so we were happy when we didn’t have to spend as much. Fresh is the word that comes to mind when I think about the food at Costa Vida. My grilled chicken salad was so on point. And they didn’t skimp on the chicken and I love the fact that it was white meat chicken, unlike Chipotle and their fatty chicken thighs. My husband ordered the burrito and OHMYWORD it was huge! We could’ve shared it and still had some left over. That burrito along probably could’ve feed all four of us. And no I’m not exaggerating. It was really good too. Their chips are the best. IMO, they beat Moes and even Chipotle. Now, I do love Chipotle’s chips, but Costa Vida has them beat. You could just taste the freshness. They weren’t stale one bit. The queso was a little too salty for me, but it wasn’t bad. Since we are moving out to the area very soon, Costa Vida will probably be a regular for us. I love the fact that they have daily specials for only $ 6.99. Check them out if you’re in the area.

There is something about fresh tortillas that makes me feel warm and fuzzy on the inside. The taste of a store bought tortilla just doesn’t come close. The same is true of fresh salsa. Costa Vida has both fresh tortillas and fresh salsa. That alone is worth 4 stars. The tortillas really are good, fresh, thick and a little doughy. The salsa is fantastic. The honey habanero was unique and left me imagining all of the things that I could eat with it. Had the mahi tacos and enjoyed them. The only disappointment of the meal was the price. I paid almost $ 10 for two tacos. For this type of restaurant I thought that was a little steep. The hype also left a little to be desired. It was solidly good, but I wasn’t blown away.

I would prefer the option of 3.5 stars, but it was good enough to round up. On a Sunday afternoon(12:30), we stood in line for 30 minutes to order. This is not what I expected, but considering they just opened and they make their tortillas right there, we hung in there. It was evident they were struggling to keep up with the tortilla-making. The food was delicious and fresh. The chicken was very tasty and the pork was tender and sweet. The kids really liked their chicken quesadillas. We will definitely go back. For the«green» folks, they use aluminum for everything. Unfortunately, I didn’t see anything that looked like they recycle.
