Excellent place to have a good meal! The waitress gave us excellent service and was very nice. I am very sure I will be going back when visiting my daughter in AZ.

We went to cottonwood for a weekend staycation, and we were on our way back to phoenix to get a family member on her flight home. When we woke up, I had had some ideas to go to eat before heading back but none of them opened early enough. Then I found Georgie’s on Unilocal. We got ready to go, and headed that way. When we got there, they weren’t quite open yet, but there was a few people parked outside waiting. You could tell this place had loyal regulars, and to me that is an excellent sign. I always say that I like«hole in the wall» restaurants. And I don’t mean this disrespectfully. To me is a restaurant that is local driven, cares more about the food they put out than having the newest and best color scheme and decorations, and their customers mean everything to them. We were instantly greater by a warm welcome. The woman, seeing that we haven’t been there before, instructed for us to pick a seat and she would be right with us. We were ready to order when she came back. Everything we had ordered was made to our liking and pretty darn quickly. I’m picky about my scrambled eggs, and hate when they are still«wet» like, so I ordered them dry and they knew exactly what I had meant. I also asked for a glass of orange juice, with our food, and she accommodated that too(I don’t have the will power not to drink the whole glass right away). This place was perfect for what we needed and wanted. Good food but quick so we could get on our way to phoenix to have our cousin make her flight.

Had lunch here yesterday, and they offer some better-than-average diner food. Ordered the patty melt with onion rings — enough ground beef to actually cover the rye bread, cooked to order, lots of grilled onions and cheese. The beef tasted fresh, but could have used a little more seasoning. Minor annoyance with the onion rings — they don’t offer them as a side, so you have to pay for the giant appetizer plate if you want them with your sandwich. Wasn’t overly impressed with the service — it took the girl a long time to get to my table, and they weren’t that busy. Still, she was pleasant when she finally arrived. All in all, I wouldn’t go out of my way, but I’d eat here again if I was in town.

Excellent choice for breakfast. After many years of driving by this establishment, my wife and I finally decided to try it Sunday after church. The good reviews here on Unilocal coupled with a consistently full parking lot were my motivation. We were seated almost immediately upon walking in. The décor is funky. .. like something right out of the 60’s with pinkish upholstery and plenty of local art work for sale adorning the whitewashed walls. It could certainly use a makeover but I wouldn’t want to spoil a good thing. .. the tired décor gives this place a certain level of charm. But it’s the food that is king. They have a big menu selection for all three daily meal times. Breakfast fills two pages with every conceivable combination of eggs, pancakes, french toast, potatoes and breakfast meats. I ordered a No. 7 combo which came with french toast, a huge slice of tasty ham as well as juice and coffee. .. all for 7 bucks! My wife ordered the cheese omelet combo with sourdough toast which also included a small glass of OJ and coffee. We shared with each other and it was plenty of fare for the two of us. The service was friendly, efficient and attentive. Our tab before tip was $ 15.05 ! Can’t beat the price and the food is good. Highly recommended. We plan to try Georgie’s for lunch or an early dinner soon.

My husband and I spent some time hiking through Sedona, visiting Jerome and exploring Arizona. On our first day in Cottonwood, we decided we needed a good hearty breakfast and so we found Georgie’s. Subsequently, we returned every morning of our trip! They have great home cooked food, great service and truly amazing staff. On our last visit to Georgie’s, one of the locals became lightheaded and fainted, and I have never seen people so willing to help. There was a genuine concern and that’s not something you see everyday. We hope Mr. Local is ok. Try the banana nut french toast! It was so much better than I expected! Thank you Georgie’s for such a pleasant week!

We were camped nearby at Deadhorse State Park and awoke to the pitter patter of rain on our tent. It was chilly and frankly, cold cereal wouldn’t quite cut it. In less than five minutes we were seated in a booth and approached by a seasoned but friendly waitress. For $ 3.99 I had my usual: 2 eggs, hash browns and sourdough toast. Delicious! Crispy hashbrowns, toast done right, and the bonus! A small bowl of homemade salsa to put on top of the eggs. This is definitely a locals favorite. A comforting place on a cold, wet morning.

Affordable, friendly and rather tasty. The view was th only down fall across from the cottonwood cemetery and was the only patron under the age of 65. Still great food and a family atmosphere. American diner food is becoming a lost art and breakfast all day is hard to find. A varied menu had a gyro and my wife had a cheese steak both were great have had breakfast there before and is also excellent

Went here with my family of 7 and everyone loved it. This is a diner along the lines of the ones in the New York area where the don’t just have the normal greasy spoon stuff like meat loaf and roasted chicken, but also Greek, Italian, etc. I had the Chicken Parmesan and my wife had the Homemade Macaroni and Cheese and both were delicious. Portions are large and it is a great value for the money.

Dog friendly on patio! I live in Scottsdale but my parents have a house in Prescott. We always travel a little outside of the town & happed to be near cottonwood and they insisted on us going here for brunch. It’s a cute diner that has a big menu and very nice service. The owner is great and I love that my little chihuahua got to join us outside

BESTBREAKFASTEVER! We came up to Cottonwood/Campe Verde for Ales on Rails. We for sure drank our weight in beer and went out that Saturday night. Come Sunday morning, we needed a nice breakfast– to cure our tiresome faces and grumbling tummies. I had an omelet with a huge pancake and breakfast potatoes! I ate most of it. This place is a really cute quaint place. It seems like the locals go there a lot. Highly recommended as it is very easy on the wallet!

While in Cottonwood for an event, we were told by our cab driver that this is THE best place to go for breakfast. He specifically instructed us to get the homefries. Always listen to a local cab driver. They are in the know and this was no exception. I still can’t get over how much food I got for $ 8. Personally I ordered the chicken fried steak, that came with a side of biscuit and gravy, home fries, fruit and eggs. I could’ve split this with two other people. Everything was obviously home cooked, fresh, and absolutely delicious. Others got the hash, omelets, and pancakes. Every single one of us loved our food and waddled out. Cheap prices, huge portions, and homemade goodness all under $ 10. Wow. This is also a great spot for obvious local flavor and is a total hole in the wall: my fav.

Nice bright atmosphere. I like the way the tables have different print material and then covered tightly with a heavy vinyl. Looks clean but homey because of the fabric. Wait staff was very nice. We were here for breakfast. Corned beef hash was real corned beef, which was nice, but the hash itself was unremarkable. Eggs over easy cooked perfectly. Home fries were fresh sliced potatoes grilled. Very simple but whatever seasoning they may add, just gives the right touch. Pancakes were average. I probably would not order again, but not because they were bad, just that I’ll wait for a lighter, fluffier pancake somewhere else. Coffee was good for a little homey restaurant. A decent breakfast at a decent price. We would return.

Don’t let the outside scare you, as it did for us for a few years. Doesn’t look like much, but this place has a killer breakfast, and super-friendly service to boot! Tried this place out while on a 3 day camping trip at Dead Horse State Park, about a mile away. I was a little tired of cleaning dishes«Cowboy Style,» outdoors, so I suggested we try a civilized place in town. Would love to back for lunch some time. Great spot… We’ll be back. Oh yeah– Very inexpensive too.
