Sushi is really good but the way they run there business is not. Called in an order that was supposed to take 15 minutes to make ended up taking close to an hour where I ended up just cancelling the order. Then, called in an order again for them to tell me they cannot take any orders because they are too busy. Another time I called l, I ordered close to 100 dollars worth of rolls and, I was told I had to pay over the phone since it cost so much and being that I’m conscious of my info of course I said no and I will pay in person and not over the phone. Sushi is good but unfortunately not organized at all!

Really good sushi place in corpus area! Big portions but also quite expensive. So be prepared to spend some $$. In my opinion, it is so worth it! They also do reservations and the staff there are really nice and helpful!

Hands down the best sushi in Corpus Christi. I’ve been tirelessly searching for sushi all around this little city being spoiled with amazing sushi in California, where I’m from. Wow! I was getting weary looking for some okay sushi and Yoshi was a good place to land upon. Kind of pricey, but hey, you could pay the same thing at Sushi Bar on South Staples and get sushi the size of an emoji. Seriously. So yoshi it is. Why is sushi so hard to come across in this city?!

I decided to try this place out for lunch today after hearing that this is where my girl friend gets her champong fix. When I arrived to Yoshis for lunch it was unusually slow. I came to lunch alone so I opted to sit in the corner of the sushi bar. I was surprised to see that they had jajangmyun(black bean noodles) on the menu. Being such a rare opportunity to get jajangmyun in south Texas I had to try it out. To begin with I was offered a complimentary miso soup. Making miso soup myself I have to say the soup was quite delectable. The miso soup had just the right amount to miso which gives it that salty flavor I love. The seaweed had a nice thick texture but was surprisingly easy to chew. The tofu was sliced perfectly into tiny squares. I really enjoyed the soup. Next, after a short wait I received my jajangmyun. The initial appearance of the jajangmyun was pleasing. I mixed the concoction as you should and took my first bite. My initial thought was that the jajangmyun was a tad on the greasier side but I suspect that it was because of the healthy portion of pork belly. I will definitely be back to try out their other dishes!

Came for lunch on Friday and there was no waiting. Very quickly served. Our server Brennan & he was great! He was fast. I ordered the Hunan Chicken. It was a huge serving. My friend ordered the sushi Kill Bill. He Said it was awesome and is going back for more. This is one of the best for sushi in Corpus Christi.

I’ve eaten there three times and haven’t had any luck on a good tasting meal. They have alot to choose from so you might want to give it a try.

Orange blue is as good as it gets for sushi!!! We love sushi and have had it all over the country… Yoshi knows how to do it right! Quail egg shooters? Yes, please! There is something for everyone here — from a sloppy chuck, to the standard California roll. If you know what you like, you will love this place! Good service! If there is a wait, just remember… there is a wait for a reason — this place is great! Want a great description? Check out the images, then check out our food blog!

Delicious fresh sushi for a decent price. Rolls are made small for easy eating. Huge assortment to choose from as well as a cooked menu. Great happy hour specials and friendly wait staff. The wait wasn’t long at all and the restaurant filled up as the evening progressed. It took about 2 hours for a party of 8 to order & eat. Get all flavors of the edamame too!

Favorite place to go out to eat in Corpus, bar none. Their selection of specialty rolls is huge, a bit overwhelming, but we’ve never had a bad one there. It’s small and the seating is close, but the atmosphere is pleasant and not claustrophobic. Drinks are good and strong, and the servers are friendly. Definitely our most recommended sushi place in town.

Food was just OK. If you are a real sushi person this is not for you. If you eat California rolls and not a lot else you’ll think it’s Great! Miso was bland as unfortunately so was my favorite — sake nigiri(salmon w/rice). And no gyoza.:-(On a good note they had OK music, our waitress was extremely attentive and helpful.(But it was also Monday and there was only 1 other table.) Appetizers — calamari, fried spring rolls & egg rolls were good. My Polar Bear and Caterpillar rolls were probably the best thing out of the whole meal & they were only good. Hubby’s broccoli/beef would have been better from a buffet. Kids say sesame chicken and shrimp lo mein were good.

After I tried various Japanese Restaurants in Corpus Christi for their sushi, Yoshi Zushi is so far the best sushi place to dine in! I love their top five sushi rolls which are Godzilla, New York, Pebble Beach(wrapped in cucumber), Kill Bill and the Polar Bear. I like the Miso Soup because it has a strong taste coming from the seaweed kelp and tofu. The Zushi appetizers called«New Age Sashimi» are very good and delicious. Although the place is an excellent place to eat sushi, the environment wasn’t’ as what I expected. Quite noisy and people walking back & forth behind you while sitting on the table near the entrance. So that is why this restaurant just lost one star. Waiter was gracious and kind enough to serve you drinks quickly whenever your glass is empty. he always keep me in touch and let me know when meal is coming. The meal arrived no longer than 20 minutes. It may take longer depending on what you ordered from the menu.

So I had pictures to post with my review, then I got a new phone, and my pictures all bit the dust. This is absolutely some of the best sushi I have ever had, in any state. The ridiculous variety to choose from makes it hard to decide what you want though, so come hungry! Indulge in a Sake-tini too, cause they’re great, and have a flavor for everyone. Service has always been wonderful, and last time we had such a LARGE ticket with our group, they even provided a complimentary Saketini, sushi roll, and appetizer.
Love this place. Sushi is excellent. Service is friendly and has a great bar. Recommend the sunshine roll for something different.

Disappointed. Usually a great time and food. Sushi was good but excuses for long wait and poor service unacceptable. Training and a large group is no excuse.

The Christina sushi is awesome. Love the fried rice. Sooo good. I agree the sushi s hit or miss. I have tried numerous rolls and Nigari, and now I stick with one roll out of 100. My husband loves the Korean food. I like the sweet and sour chicken, homemade sauce. I think you have to hunt and be open minded. Because what they do well, he do an awesome job on. Perhaps they should reduce the menu size?

Walked in to see a huge table of Japanese dudes. Instant street cred. Their squid salad was so good I would go back just for that. Agedashi tofu was so-so, bimbimba was pretty legit as well and just the fact they had this on the menu made me a happy camper. Only semi negative was their sushi was really hit or miss, but I’m sure if you asked for omakase the chefs would treat you right! Will be back!
