Decided to give pizza another try. Pizza State was decent. Wife ordered cheese pizza for the kids and I ordered from the buffet for variety. While this is certainly nothing to come back for, it was good if you have a craving for pizza.

They have very friendly staff and plenty of seating. Best taste on pizza in a buffet that I have had in Corpus. Their salad bar is good too and has always been clean. Also have very tasty soups.
I like that I get a student discount and that even though its right next to the university it’s not full of annoying college kids

Great pizza and friendly people working there. I always like to come by and get the buffet when I have some time to eat and relax. This is a college type place since it’s just down the road from the university. They have a decent salad bar and lots of TVs in the sitting area. I’ve gotten a whole pie for take out and it was delicious. The one thing that can be difficult is the parking. Very small parking lot area shared by the book store and gas station (but, what can you do?). Highly recommended.

I’m only giving this place 2 stars because the desert was fantastic! However, the pizza was mediocre at best and the selection was disappointing… very nice staff! Great place to go if you’re short on cash and have no taste buds…

All you can eat pizzuhh. They have fresh salad every time I’m there. And when they run out of pizza, almost instantly a fresh plate comes out. Everything is pretty fresh. At least rarely room temperature pizza is out being served. They don’t have a wide variety of pizza but there are good selections out there. Explore. Plus, students get discounts! The pizza was great, fresh toppings. Salad was also fresh and good portion.
I wasn’t to happy with the Garlic flavored wings, they were nice & crispy, but no flavor.

This place has all the carbohydrates a college student can jam into their gaping maw. The food is average at best but with several styles of pizza, beer, and a couple of TVs it has no choice but to be popular for the fiscally challenged academics.

Not a family friendly restaurant! Stay away from this non family friendly restaurant if you have kids! The owner will tell you your kid ruined their dinner and ask you to leave if your 10 month old child is too loud for their liking. So sad there are people in this world that are intolerant of a children being children. Pizza State should market their restaurant an adult only establishment. I hope if you read this review and have children you will choose to take your child to a truly family friendly restaurant and avoid Pizza State.

Had to be the best pizza I have ever had. The crust is chewy and soft and not greasy, the perfect amount of sauce not to much (I usually get no sauce). The toppings are plentiful and fresh each time I visit Corpus Christi I make it a point to come here. I highly recommend the PJ special (thier combo pizza).

2.5 out of 3 stars. Some pizzas are good here, and and some aren’t. I’d recommend sticking with basics like cheese, or pepperoni, and or sausage n mushroom. I’ve had some fancy pizza here that tasted like garbage

Great place if you are looking for a pizza buffet. The salad bar is super fresh and has tons of options. The pizza rolls are delicious. Good selection of all kinds a pizza. There are about four different desert pizzas as well. They do a good job of getting the pizzas out and it’s super cheap.

When I went to school at TAMUCC this was the hang out of the Geology majors (we even had a special card that got us $ 5 pitchers!). The buffalo pizza and the pepperoni rolls are the best. A cheap and easy place to get food right off campus. I still think about those pepperoni rolls.

Worst pizza I have ever had. At least the beer was cold, because it was at least 95 degrees in the restaurant. They also had a pizza/​salad bar with cold pizza, and hot lettuce. We ordered fresh, and were still disappointed.
