My boyfriend and I went to B&J’s for the first time today, we made it in time for the Lunch Special 8″ pizza up to 4 toppings, we both tried Pepperoni & Serrano and ordered two Sweet Teas The Teas came in personal pitchers, pretty awesome! The pizzas both came out well done, just the way we like(I didn’t have to ask for well done like at most places) it was perfect! My friends have been bragging about this place lately, so I had to give it a shot and being from New Jersey I know Pizza! I enjoyed everything about B&J’s My only complaint was the flavor of the dough, but like I said I’m from NJ I’ve been spoiled w/pizza my entire life(I’ve been trying every place in Corpus Christi searching for that perfect pie) I’ll be back again! You can’t beat that $ 7.50 Lunch Special

Service from restaurant was okay, food was good, bartender was slow and rude. Was closing out tab and noticed he didn’t charge for two beers. He grabs the tab, crushes it, and throws it to the ground. Sorry for being honest. Will not be going to that location.

I’m basing my stars on the pizza because if I based it off the wings I’d have to go with a 1. We had a 12 inch mushroom and cheese pizza. Pretty basic. The crust is really good and the sauce isn’t overwhelming. I could’ve used more cheese, but I’ll remember that for my next visit. Now they’re wings… Way too fatty! Not enough sauce, and they were supposed to be Buffalo. All I tasted was chicken. The bar isn’t stocked with Pabst but I haven’t really found that anywhere in Corpus. Space isn’t crowded and it’s a Sunday night with steady business. 4 tvs and only 1 is a «big screen» so if you’re coming to watch the big game, don’t. It’s cool to hang out and just chill, but I was hoping we’d get a bar and grill type of environment.

We visited B&Js in the Habeeb shopping center and WOW! Seriously great pizza! Hand tossed dough, fresh vegetables, and fresh herbs and spices! We wanted to try more than one pizza, so we got a half Jack special and half garden pizza. A light, crispy bottom was the ideal base for this dish. The perfectly cooked vegetables were super fresh and the pizza was not greasy anywhere. It had just the right amount of cheese and just the right amount of sauce. The balance of flavors and textures was perfect — truly a perfect pizza! We also had the garlic wings… DELISH! Fresh chopped garlic in abundance… yummmmmm… For more dishes that will make you drool, check us out on Drooldish!

This is the best place to eat pizza in Corpus! It’s not the cleanness looking restaurant, but the pizza is good.

Seriously good pizza.(easily one of the best if not the best in Corpus) Everything tasted very fresh. The dough was perfect not too thick not to thin. Flavorful sauce and fresh vegetables. I went on a Saturday night. The place was pretty packed. The atmosphere is casual. They have a great beer selection. One side is dining with tables and the other side is more seating with a bar area. Looking forward to going back and enjoying more pizza.

I was in the mood for something quick for dinner but did not want fast food so my husband suggested this place. I ordered a pizza and wings for pickup and when I arrived it was empty(Sunday @ 5:45pm) and the staff was friendly. It seemed a bit pricy at $ 35 for a pretty average meal for two(pizza & wings). I got the Jack’s Wings and holy smokes, I think these are the best wings I have ever had. At least thats how I felt when I was eating them. They have a powerful garlic taste for sure, so I would not recommend to people who don’t really like garlic(I LOVE garlic). I ordered a jalapeño, mushroom, italian sausage and ham 14″ pizza and honestly, I don’t remember how good it was because the wings completely overpowered the meal. However I think I remember saying that it was one of the tastiest pizzas I have had.

Pizza was good. but some of the workers were rude… bus boy was flat out an a**hole. Kinda uptight… told us to quiet down when they clearly knew we reserved for a party of over 20. the newer b&js on staples is MUCH better

Wow, I thought I had wings but I was wrong. I ordered the Jacks Wings. I was blown away! I also ordered 12″ B & J original pizza pie. The crust was perfectly cooked. All the topping were delicious. I had a mini pitcher of sweet tea. This is a Corpus Christi must visit. The beer selection is world wide and varied.

Great pizza and amazing beer selection. Loved the atmosphere. You could tell after a few minutes this place is a community favorite. Most people walking in knew the staff by name. Can’t wait to go back. The Back Room is where you’ll find the great selection of beers on tap. Take a look around before you order and sit down.

Best pizza I’ve had in a long time! Went with my sister and her in-laws to celebrate a birthday and they were able to accommodate a party of 10+. Great atmosphere, great pizza, yummy wings! Can’t wait to go back!

B&J’s has a great beer selection and delicious food. They have the best wings in town! The pizza and burgers are always good, too. This is one of my favorite places in Corpus, along with their other location on Staples. I always bring new people here and everyone has loved it so far. You won’t be disappointed.

My husband and I go here all the time! LOVETHEPIZZA!!! Except now there is this girl that is working here, and she has the worst attitude I have ever seen. Cops an attitude with you when you ask questions about things and when you ask for ranch she gives you a ramekin with less than a centimeter full of ranch… PLEASETELLMEHOWYOUARESUPPOSETO «dip» your pizza slice in that. I even asked the girl if that’s how much you get… Her reply«mmmmhhhhmmm» so disappointed in them! I have been coming here since a was a child!!!

Best pizza I have had in recent memory. And the coolest setup possible. Laid back friendly staff working diligently to produce excellent pies. Crust was beyond excellent: it’s perfection r squared. A great sauce. Incredible cheeses. Killer toppings. All around incredible. Then, there’s the giant freaking beer cooler. Stocked. And just right there. Where you can help your goofy little self to whatever kick-ass weird beer tickles your pizza fancy. Self-serve honor system, pay when you go. Perfect in so may ways. On the«Repeatedly Return» list.

Came down to Corpus Christi for Spring Break from Houston. Read Unilocal to find a place to eat. This place came up with a four star review really close to us. Seems like a majority of the people love the Jack’s Special. I ordered it. I then waited 55 minutes for it to come out because it was«busy.» Our table was one of FIVE in the front room. Maybe saw two people take carry-out in the course of 55 minutes. I’ve worked in a pizza place with a similar oven. It takes less than 10 minutes for a pizza to go through. Placed order at 7:05, and the pizza got to our table at 8:00. What happened in those 55 minutes? God only knows. The restaurant itself is situated in an older shopping center. The windows on the storefront are grungy. The air conditioning vents on the ceiling are dirty. The beer selection is vast, but also un-sorted. Those glass refrigerator doors could also use some Windex. I found a beer I like, and the can was filthy. Covered in old soda or beer. I put it back and found a cleaner one. The employees don’t wear uniforms, so you can’t tell them apart from customers. You have to walk through a portion of the kitchen to go to the restroom, which is odd. The Jack’s Special was decent after I covered it in crushed red pepper(I must be a pepper belly). We ordered a 14″ and I think the same amount of dough is used for some of the sizes(8″, 12″, 14″, 16″). So maybe ordering a 12″ would be thicker crust. The crust was thin for my liking. This two star review is just a result of the wait time for the pizza, and the cleanliness of the place. It needs some minor tweaks and this would be an awesome place.

This place was ok but not really a destination. It’s a bit of a dive, which I don’t really care about if the food is good. It had a musty smell to it that reminded me of a school cafeteria though. It was a long wait for our pizzas at lunch time and they were a little overdone when they came. No fountain drinks, just cans. That’s a ding right there. The pizza was not bad, but not great either. I had Jack’s special, everyone else had pepperoni. No one could taste the sauce, at all. There were red stains on the pizza that implied some sauce was used, but even when I stuck my finger in the only liquid drop of sauce I could find on my whole personal pizza and licked it alone, it had no taste. The crust was pretty good. Nothing wrong with the cheese, pepperoni or onions. It was not a great quality sausage, it’s not italian sausage but closer to a sage free breakfast sausage. Honestly if it had a tasty sauce and better quality sausage, it might have been a 4 star pizza but I can’t excuse tasteless sauce. The staff was friendly enough but either they have changed their prices or they overcharged for the lunch special listed in the menu download from their website(supposed to be $ 6.70 with drink, they charged $ 6.70 for the pizzas and then $ 1.39 for each drink). At $ 6.70 total per person I wouldn’t have minded so much that nothing was fabulous but that extra $ 1.39 per CAN, plus the long wait at lunch tipped it to the not really worth bothering category.

Corpus might as well be new to me since I never spent much time actually in town everytime I have visited in the past. With that, this past weekend was my first real chance to explore Corpus and some of the solid eateries it sports. In cases like this, usually one of the first places I try to sniff out is a great local pizza joint. The girlfriend pointed to B & J, and off we went. Upon immediately entering, I knew I would like this place. With the massive beer selection in the cooler staring you in the face as you walk in, it is hard not to like it. Unless you don’t like beer… blasphemy! The service and the staff were pretty laid back. You just order up front, grab whatever beers you like from the cooler, and pay at the end. We rolled with the Jack’s Special. I liked their pizza as it wasn’t too cheesy and I would say the crust is the best part. It can be described as thinner crust, since it is not quite thin crust, though not as thick as your standard pizza fare, either. Polishing my meal off with a nice brew from Southern Star, we both agreed that our trip was a success. Needless to say, the great beer selection and simplicity of the place will have you salivating before you even order your pizza. If you love microbrews and divey-laid back pizza joints as I do, then this is your spot.
