I absolutely love this place. They have amazing food consistently. I love the burrito bowl, the potato enchiladas. Really anything you order here is good. I’ve always had a good experience here!

The food here is heavenly and fresh. The salad bar is full of bright flavors and over a dozen options. The staff are so warm and friendly as well. Great little spot to duck into for a lazy afternoon with some delicious food!

Came here with coworkers for lunch on two separate occasions during lunch. Parking was difficult b/c it’s right on PCH and the lot is small. Food was delicious with plenty of hot and cold options. I’ve tried quiche and several cold/salad options. All tasted great/fresh/flavorful. I would definitely come back and recommend to friends. Similar to Moulin on Bristol, but maybe slightly more options.

Honestly, how can you run a café/coffee shop without wifi for your guests? I can’t comprehend why you wouldn’t spend the extra money to have that convenience for your customers.

Cozy, cute brunch spot in Corona Del Mar not too far from Fashion Island. My friends and I decided to have brunch here on a gloomy Sunday and were not disappointed. They have a little market and bakery inside as well. I ordered the breakfast burrito wrap which included vegetarian sausage and chips on the side. I also ordered a chai latte. It was simple, but good and tasty food. They have a small selection of omelets as well. I was pleased with my burrito wrap. We sat outside in the heated patio area which was a nice touch. It’s self service for water, utensils, and etc. They have a small parking lot in the back and parking in the street.

Wonderful café — Zinc truly offers quality food/drink, atmosphere and service. I look forward to patronizing this business each time I visit the area. I love the bottomless coffee, zinc table-tops and high standards.

My favorite place to have a Chai Late. Emilio makes the best one with almond milk and it is not as sweet as most chai late. The employees are super kind and loving. Grateful to have zinc in my neighborhood.

After my last experience I stayed away for a while but decided to give them another try. Some good selections as always. I chose the seitan(a wheat-meat protein prepared like beef) and several side dishes including rice, mushrooms and glazed carrots. The plate looked awesome and I could hardly wait. Then she handed me the plate and I realized it was stone cold. Can you imagine eating cold«beef», cold rice and cold cooked carrots? Who does that? It’s just not natural. «Can you heat this up for me?» «No, these items are considered salads and we don’t heat them.» Cooked«beef» is a salad? Brown rice with cooked mushrooms is a salad? Just because your sauteed carrots have been sitting on the counter and aren’t warm anymore, those are a salad? Keep in mind all this happens while the place is empty and there are large pre-heated ovens blazing away in plain view. They rang me up, charged me a ridiculous amount of money and sent me on my way. I could sense their satisfaction as I walked away dejected to eat my cold leftovers. The food tasted like it would have been really delicious warm but sorry, Zinc, cold cooked carrots are not my thing(or anyone else’s). Guess what Zinc? Thanks to your absurd policies and condescending attitude, I am now considering my money to be salad and you are no longer entitled to any of it. Buh-bye!

Super cute place for lunch with great sunny patio seating. Had the half sandwich with soup and salad combo and a nice glass of iced soy mocha. For the sandwich, ordered the Eggplant Sandwich with Feta Cheese. Divine– the bread was so good and all of the veggies were so fresh. The soup of the day was butternut squash, which interestingly had a hint of Indian spices. Wasn’t my favorite soup, but definitely you could tell this was homemade with fresh ingredients. Salad was simple but refreshing wth mixed greens, tomatoes, and olives. Order at the counter then they will give u a number and serve the food at your table. Loved this place for a beautiful CDM brunch. Be back very soon!

I won’t bother telling people what this place is. Theres enough of that information. I pulled in here for a latte. I asked the people behind the counter«how many shots are in your espresso drinks.?I was told“all over our drinks have one shot but you can add as many as you like.1SHOT!!! 2 shots is a norm for me and is typical at other I order with the extra shot and and ask for low fat milk… and of coarse they are I tell them to cut down the milk and foam to half the amount… FAIL…The total was $ 5.16.The latte arrives and it’s filled all the way up to the top of the cup with their usual amount of milk and foam with the pretty heart design… just like they always do. They did not have a crowd of people waiting when I ordered this and it certainly was not that difficult to get right .Good location and great for moms with strollers who like weak American versions of coffee

Good food but not good service. It took 15 – 20 minutes for them to realize they couldn’t make us the waffles and French toast that we ordered.

Came here to get some coffee and dessert and wasn’t impressed. Banana nut cake: hard, not good. Cinnamon sugar twist: do not recommend. Tiramisu: this was the best out of the three, but average. The customer service was strange too. They said they would be bringing out some of the items to our table, but we ended up picking it up from the counter. Coffee was brought out very late and we requested hot milk on the side which didn’t come.

The location is great if you can walk here, otherwise parking is a little hard, their lot is very small. The place is really nice and very popular with locals it seems, especially ladies, it was just me and another guy for lunch. Locals seem to be regulars and ask a lot of questions and have a lot of requests. Which is OK, it’s jut that I had some odd 2 minutes at the counter before someone could even take a look at me after taking care of all the requests from customers coming on the other side. Had a Lunch burrito and a bottle of Kombutcha, both were absolutely great! Service and all is awesome and it seems a quiet place right next to busy PCH.

the scrambled egg plate is amazing! I’ve been here twice & each time is a pleasure. both times I’ve had the same exact thing b/c why mess with perfection? I am looking forward to eating a breakfast burrito at some point though. the staff is great! super helpful/nice & they work really hard. the food is BOMB& I am salivating just looking at the picture I have. the scrambled egg plate comes with your choice of a bagel or toast & then scrambled eggs(of course) with this amazing salsa, some jam for your bagel/toast & cream cheese(just for bagels) I got the peach juice twice already & have been so content with it. not TOO sweet but not bitter at all which is how I really enjoy my drinks. the whole plate is really filling so I’m excited to get something smaller & try a pastry or two! I highly recommend eating here for brunch

Zinc is an adorable restaurant and deli located in the upscale Corona del Mar neighborhood. The décor inside is very cool and definitely has a French-countryside and farm-to-table vibe. I really like that the menu has so many clean and healthy options– definitely a nice place to have a healthy lunch after all the Fourth of July extravagance. There are many options for both breakfast, lunch and to-go. I ordered from the deli section and got a roasted beet and edamame salad, which was healthy and delicious. My friends ordered a variety of salads and omelettes. My friend Sam ordered an iced chai latte that I tried and it was perfect! Not too sweet but also still tastes like a treat. It is a little bit busy and there is a long line when you try to order, but the staff are very efficient and the line moves quickly. I appreciate that they have a good number of indoor and outdoor tables because it makes finding seating much easier. One thing that would improve my experience here would be to have better signposted areas for to go, deli and restaurant. It’s a bit confusing, especially when the restaurant is crowded.

Very cute spot, near Fashion Island off of PCH. They have so many options to choose from. You can order off their menu, or they ave a bakery that serves up lunch items by weight. I was kind of overwhelmed by all the choices, but ended up ordering the burrito bowl, foccacia and a chai latte. The burrito bowl tasted very fresh, and I liked having the tortilla chips on the side. The foccacia was topped with sweet peppers, onions, and cheese. The chai was delicious! I’d like to think that it’s a spot to go if you’re trying to eat healthy. Not too sure if my choices were, but with all the food items, there’s something for everyone!

I’ve heard about Zinc for a while now and now that I’ve moved back to SoCal, it seemed time to try it out. I went to the Laguna Beach location once in a weekend and decided that was a bad idea. So crowded and busy. So when I went to this one, I chose brunch during a weekday. One of my favorite things to do here is just peruse their products, their deli items and other goodies. Okay, let’s get onto the actual food. A tad expensive. Add coffee to your meal and you’ll easily reach $ 15.00 for breakfast. Anyways. I’d say it’s worth it every once in awhile. 1. Huevos Rancheros. 3⁄5. I love the typical version and this one was pretty different. It wasn’t nearly spicy enough and there was only one egg for the entire plated dish. Two eggs at least, please! 2. Burrito bowl. 4⁄5. This was better, but also missing some of the better Mexican flare. I think they’re going for something different, but in SoCal, the more Latin influence the better 3. Goat cheese mushroom omelette. 5⁄5. I think the price was appropriate for all that you got. A side of fruit an toast options. Their cinnamon raisin toast rocked my world. I loved it. Also, how did they make a simple fruit cup taste so darn amazing?

Very cute little café/market. The right side sells drinks and other refrigerated goods, left side is a full kitchen. Great seating on sidewalk, inside and covered patio. The food on the other hand was good. Please be advised that there are no real meats sold in this restaurant. Their proteins consist of eggs, nuts and beans. Staff was very nice and helpful, female cashier with greenish hair was extremely polite and did not hesitate to explain menu options and ingredients. Unfortunately very unlikely to come back to this place due to the lack of protein available on the menu, specifically real meats.(Visited 4:00PM02÷11÷15)
