The location right on the lake is nice, but the food is just okay. I had a steak fajita enchilada, and the meat was tough. The chili gravy was good, and I was able to enhance it with some fresh jalapeño. Margaritas were okay, and the service was very swift and polite.

We have been here many times. Today we came for happy hour margaritas and appetizers. Our waitress, Tori, was outstanding! Our food was delivered to the table very quickly after ordering. She was very attentive through the entire visit. Great visit overall! See ya next time Fajita Jacks!

My daughters high school graduation was last weekend and I got to say the general manager Aaron came through! We looked at Lupe tortilla but they wanted 850.00 for fajitas for 40 people wow. I love Lupe but fajita jacks did them for half I don’t want to say exactly but I will say service was amazing and the next day I came back to get more tortillas and chips and he gave them to us for free yes free!!! In a world of no customer service and fees you can’t ask for better service than fajita jacks for catering. Thanks again Aaron and his team for a great experience and giving me the time to spend with my daughter and family rather than cooking! GREATJOBFAJITAJACKS!!!

Meh, ok at best. I have passed this restaurant chain a thousand times driving back and forth to College Station. Never stopped in because as we all know, there are like 100 different Mexican restaurants to choose from. The only reason today became the day to finally try it was 1) my friends wanted a lake front patio to eat on so we could watch the storm roll in and 2) it was close and 3) we wanted to try something new. I’ll be honest, I wasn’t very excited to try it out, only because a lot of the reviews on here weren’t very positive… and no one likes to have a bad experience but I sucked it up and put my game face on. This location has nice décor and a nice sized patio… which we were looking for. The receptionist kinda gave me an odd look when we asked to sit out on the patio knowing good and well a Turbo Storm was a brewing but yah, thats how me and my crazy friends roll. We came here around 4/4:30p so the place was maybe 20% full so not busy at all. Our server was pleasantly friendly and attentive(opposite to what many other Unilocalers had experienced.) Very intense menu, took me awhile to let it all soak in and choose a worthy dish; Lots and Lots to choose from. I ordered a beer since it was HH but my friend who ordered the house margarita said«it was very sweet and tart,» so I’m glad I didn’t go that route. Chips and salsa were good. I ordered the Pepe Lopez which was a Chicken Fajita Al Cabon(YUMMY, chk was marinated nicely) a cheese enchilada(I upgraded to top it with CCQ but it was still meh) 2 taquitos(which ended up being made with beef instead of chicken so I gave them away to my hungry friend) rice and beans. My meal was ok, nothing special but doable. But I’m also a mexy food snob so there. My friends dishes: Brisket Enchiladas: said was tasty but was just ok Brisket Quesadillas– he really liked the marinade of the meat. Served with BBQ sauce which was odd to me but whateves Chicken Quesadillas: she also really enjoyed the marinade of the meat and I quote: «the meat was delicious and well textured, the rest of the quesadilla was very average and the guac tasted cheap and like it come from a bottle.» Now for the Winner of the evening… the Free ice cream in the lobby! I know, I know, «really Brittany, the free ice cream??» YES and don’t judge me! Another fellow Unilocaler claimed that the ice cream may be a non diary and possibly vegan??? As much as that would **RoCk**, that ice cream was waaaay to creamy tasting and delicious to be vegan/or good for you… but I’m going with it because I didn’t sneeze ONCE(I have a lactose allergy for all y’all not in the know) Overall, we enjoyed ourselves. Good service, nice view, on the lake, decent food, DELICIOUSMYSTERY(possible semi healthy) ICECREAM. Next time, we should try their fajitas since apparently that it what they are known for.

Service not so good, wait once you order takes a long time! Staff is unatentive, food fair. At best.

Great location but unfortunately the service was not that great. It took over an hour for us to just get our check after we were done eating. The food was very average and expected much more for Mexican. We came on Saint Patrick’s day thinking it would be packed. Parking was a little difficult due to all of the surrounding restaurants.

The fajitas were very good and the atmosphere outdoors while the band was playing was great! This is a great place to go with family or friends.

Very comfortable & casual dining. Food was acceptable tex-mex. The one vegetarian option that i found was veggie fajitas. They were pretty good. Black beans are vegetarian. The free ice cream is soy-based, dairy-free. Not sure if it is vegan. Service was acceptable but a bit absent-minded. Margaritas were very sweet, & margarita-mix flavored. Great patio outside overlooking Lake Conroe.

Actually a last minute decision to stop and eat a late lunch early dinner and not disappointed at all! The chicken fajitas were excellent, ponies were cooked to perfection, buttery and the peppers cooked perfect as well. The beef hard shell tacos were flavorful and and cheese enchiladas had an excellent sauce. We will be back… Great last minute decision!

WEWON’T BEBACK Found a bug AND a hair in our food on a late Valentine’s date with fiancée. Needless to say, we were pretty turned off. Server literally pulled a disappearing act. I saw tons of ‘workers’ sitting around doing essentially nothing. The food itself tasted fine but was cold by the time we ever got any attention. Oh BTW, they gave us a ’25% employee discount’ for finding both a bug & a hair in the food. They should have comped the whole experience…

I really love this place. Amazing location on lake Conroe and they also have parking for boats. The chips and salsa are always fresh and warm. Great selection of beers and a well stocked bar. The Boss margarita is my favorite and is $ 6 during happy hour. I got the ultimate fajita plate for 1 which was a mix of chicken steak and jumbo shrimp. A great place to come hangout with the family and spend the afternoon. Will keep coming back.

I was not impressed at all with this place. I came late on a Friday night and I don’t know if it was cause it was 9 o’clock or what but everything just turned to bad. I got the carnitas tacos, the corn tortillas were a joke, the mean was dry and they put way too many Jalapeños that I could barely eat the taco. And I can handle spicy. The chips weren’t really warm, our waiter seemed to be screwing around. The rest of the wait staff was definitely screwing around. And for 9 on a Friday, that seems a little strange considering it’s still a Friday night. Maybe it’d be different if I was sitting on the patio outback, but the music was so loud I couldn’t hear the person I was with. They were playing early 2000s love songs like Collide by Howie Day. Which is a good song for a different time and place, not a fajita place. I just don’t get it. But I don’t plan on going back.

This place is hard to miss and from the outside this restaurant looks like a lot of fun. The location is conveniently located off the lake offering some views from the giant windows. We stopped in after boating in nearby Lake Conroe. There was a long wait and it was crowded and noisy. But when we got in the dining room there were lots of empty tables? Service was friendly but the food only gets a three-star and it took forever for the food to come out. Thankfully the chips and salsa were edible. Very average tasting almost bland and not worth the price. Maybe they had an off night. Forgettable.

Best Mexican/Fusion place on Lale Conroe. Great Margaritas, awesome owners, bartenders and staff. They are always trying new things, so be sure to check them out often!

The family & I had originally planned to eat @ Sams boat after a long day on Lake Conroe. We were STARVING ! So I ended Unilocaling FJ bc the smell of good food was so intense in the parking lot. We couldn’t help but follow our senses ! Place was definitely a packed house & with a party of 8 we had to wait for an outside table on the dock. Our wait was about 30 mins. BUTWORTHIT! So our original table was in some dark corner to left of the outside patio. We couldn’t even read our menus. BUT. Our server ended up moving up to a dock side table. Happy happy ! Everyone enjoyed the food ! Husband & son shared the fajitas platter for 2& girls got the cheese enchiladas… No complaints ! Food was fresh, hot & very favorable! I dont remember my dish name … But ITWASDELICIOUS(see pic) ! Server was on point & attentive! The other family we were with enjoyed their meal just as much ! Restaurant was nice, clean, decorative to its Mexican theme. Outside dock was lovely(having perfect weather on a Saturday night was a PLUS). And they make their corn & flour tortillas inside HOMEMADE! The only complaint I have is the restroom stall I used was out of TP(I had to get my daughter to hand me some from the next stall). And when they first sat us we were in a dark corner, other then that. So for that im giving them 4 stars. Otherwise it would’ve been 5! But Everything was Awesome! Too bad we don’t have a good restaurant like this in Pearland!

The food was pretty good and our waiter, Jeremy, was really nice. The price was reasonable and the view was amazing. There’s karaōke on the outside deck. We heard the wait is usually long but our wait was quick.

Ate her yesterday with a friend and it was fantastic. Clean on the inside nicely decorated and the staff was very nice. We went for lunch and I ordered the carne guisada the need was seasoned nicely and had plenty of onions and other topping to go with it. Although it came out with this little cup that to me looked like it was pure grease but I don’t know maybe someone can comment and tell Me what it was. The rice was lacking some flavor I thought but it was decent I ate it. The prices for lunch and even taking a lance at the dinner menu seemed very reasonable even especially for being on the lake I was expecting way more expensive. Plus they have soft serve ice cream like gringos that was very good! I would love to come back in the fall when it’s not blazing hot and sit outside and look out at the lake.

The main draw for this place is the view. Nice view of the dock, pier and lake itself. The hostess seated us right away upon arrival. Our waitress took our order pretty quick. Their chips and salsas are good. It took a while for our food to arrive. I had the American enchiladas with beef and they were tasty. My wife had the ceviche and it was not good. Stay away from that one. Prices are higher than they should be, but you are mainly paying for the view. With limited restaurants right on the water, this one is not a bad choice. It is not great either though.

The atmosphere makes this restaurant for me! We sat on the patio with the breezy blowing, watching the boats come and go. We ordered drinks, apps and an order of tacos and none disappointed. We ordered plain queso with tortillas and the tortillas were homemade, very fresh and tasted delicious! They were soft and fluffy! The refried beans were awesome too. We tried the Fireman Tacos and they were just the right amount of spicy and the shrimp were cooked perfectly. All the food was extremely fresh and flavorful.

Bartenders SUCK! Worst service in the Houston area! DONOTSEAT at the bar expecially if your date-girlfriend-wife is hotter than the female bartenders, they’ll give ya an attitude! I don’t need that shit! I’ll go to El Ranchero next time
