Over priced water down drinks, Rude staff and forget about playing billiards. They usually have competitions which take up all the tables.

Place kicks ass! Great size, pool tables, outdoor patio, and a stage. The service has always been awesome. All the guys there are freaking on it! Even on the busiest nights it’s never too long to grab a drink.

I like this place. They have darts, pool, and live music on some nights… the owners are nice and are active in the operation of the business. It has a dance floor and smoking patio out back. Drinks are good and price is decent. They also have great food.

Worst service ive seen in awhile. And I’ve worked from philly to Hawaii this year. It doesn’t matter who’s working either. Maybe because their all guys. U still should not have to wait for a beer…

Probably one of the best dive bars in this area. All the bartenders are incredible! Drinks are amazing, The food is always good. They do standup comedy once a month which is always incredible! And I’m not saying that because I’m one of the comic they have live bands on the weekend so far every show I’ve seen has been great!

Serious live rock and roll in here. Check to see what they are doing before you come here. All i wanted was a drink and got a rock concert and a packed place with no seats. Will try again. Drinks are stiff to good stuff.

In the realm of the Todos Santos Plaza bar scene, Vinnie’s is the life of the party. You’ll usually hear this place before you see it, whether it’s a live band playing inside, or the typical biker bar types taking a smoke break near the entrance. Normally, there’s a small cover on band nights, but that’s typical of most bars. Thursday evenings are the best time to come if you’re a salsa dancer; the dance floor opens up and the D.J. plays an awesome mix of salsa, merengue, and bachata. Other nights are a mixed bag, with an even more unpredictable mix of people. Vinnie’s should really charge a fee to people-watch here; believe me, the free entertainment you’ll get here is a steal. I live very close to this place, and even though I’ve had some«interesting» nights here, I wouldn’t be opposed to stopping in again sometime in the not-so-distant future.

This is one of those places that exists just because there is nothing else around. Bartenders have a «ugh– what do you want? attitude… do they even know how to mix drinks? I don’t even want to type about my interaction with them as it may get me upset again for wasting my money. The salsa night was lackluster. Dear club owners– to play latin music and make it fun, you really need to a have a DJ to mix it all up… a couple of salsas, a couple of merengues, a couple of bachata and any other music… 1 hour worth of salsa gets pretty dull after a while.

Probably one of the top 5 places for hilarious people watching I’ve ever experienced. Even when the bands are terrible it’s always such a blast at Vinnie’s! The food isn’t too bad and the pool tournaments are so fun on Friday nights! Love it here, also the vending machine is hilarious.

Still scoping out all the salsa spots in east Bay Area and was told there is one here Thursday night. Visited this bar 10 days ago, had a good time, here is more info: — Located near downtown Concord on Mt. Diablo St. across from Todos Santos park. There was plenty of free street parking available, a $ 5 cover, and no line up up when I arrived @10:30. Walking in, you are immediately on the dance floor, so break a move!!! Lol. Which is no Bueno! You have to walk through the dance floor to get to the bar! Man was I confused when I walked it! Lol. Secondly, there is a number of pool tables on the right of the bar. So this place is basically a hole in the wall bar with a DJ spinning Salsa/bachata tunes Thursday night. It started to get very busy ~11. Lots of people diverse in age and ethnicities, were congregating by the bar. It’s a long bar. There were a few couples dancing and later on, many more jumped in. Worth mentioning, the dance floor or space rather is interrupted by pillars or beams, so it’s not easy dancing in this space. Most of the people were standing around and drinking, and drinking, lots of drinking! Drinks were reasonable and bartenders were very responsive. I give 2.5 as a salsa spot. But has high energy, friendly atmosphere, casual, & fun is my summary. I’ll be back!

Dear bartender, Politely motioned to show a drink to you on my phone and you give me a dirty look then after seeing it reply back condescendingly with«soooooo it’s basically, bleh bleh blah». Your attitude is petty and I still tipped you $ 5 for me and my friends drinks, but the next time a bartender gives me attitude, I’ll make a mental note to react and move to another bartender. Ps: bartending is a job and I know you probably deal with a handful of d-bags, but if your burned out, do something that makes you happy. Signed, Jerry’s and Cherries

Tonight there was a $ 5 cover for a band that I only saw for 20 minutes. It’s not the bands fault as Vinnie’s security guard was collecting the $ 5 cover. After bringing the cover charge up with the security guard, he directed me to the band for a refund which is not professional resulting in my 2-star rating because the bartender was attentive. The band however spoke directly to me regarding the experience however management should have stepped in.

The security guy was an extreme a$$hole. When we got there he told us we have to wait for 15 people to leave! We waited 30 minutes and after 25 people who left we started asking questions why we can’t get it. The security guy said he doesn’t have to let us in and we are being smart with him! We were asking why is he allowing other people in but letting us wait in line. This is a perfect example of corrupted and egotistical security who is looking for sense of superiority and needs to demean people to get it. I’m planning on posting this video on social media and demanding apology and this person to be fired from his job. You do not treat people this way!

Vinnies is a pretty chill bar and concert venue of sorts, adverage drink prices and a decent crowd. A wide range of brews and spirits to cator to a spacific taste. Great service and attentive bartenders, a nice after work or night out type of spot.

Okay, this place is JUST cool! Pool tables, a large bar, gets packed, people rocking out, someone bumps into you, they actually apologize. Down to earth and yet lively and rowdy enough to feel like you are having a great time. I would recommend being careful with the vodka and red bulls. I may have had one too many and I ended up having to take some time in their bathroom. Luckily, it was a nice clean friendly bathroom. Whew! Hey, don’t judge.

Thursday night features salsa, bachata, and merengue music — and the dance floor is packed. No cover! Free parking. Even free water for those who don’t drink alcohol. The music is good and most people seem friendly and open to dancing with those they don’t know. There are also pool tables and big screen televisions(with boxing and other sports showing) for those who don’t dance and don’t want to watch others. The Price is right — but it is also hit and miss as far as who comes. Some night are better than others.

came to Vinnie’s early afternoon. don’t know how it is in the evenings. large space, ½ is pool tables, sound stage visible near entrance, many flatscreens, 9 drafts, many artisan liquor seen. drink: negra modelo(5) –ok, 2 drafts were bud. weak draft selection –noticed 6 count in screwdriver pour(2 ounces vodka) mixed drinks the best value here. on draught: –cool friendly bartender,(aren’t they all?) –no visible anti-… vibes felt in bar, though all patrons of one race unlike DJ bistro(east european patrons where daggers felt all around.) patrons in Vinnie’s all-american. –large space but little seating –would repeat for the mixed cocktails 3.5 stars

This is your classic bar. Live music, pool tables, darts, back patio area, and good bar food. The old time rock and roll, punk, and newer music really makes you want to dance and enjoy the night. I will always love this place and seeing everyone have a good time.
