A great place to get your hair cut! Ann is great and really knows how to get the cut right. You can’t beat the price! I won’t get my hair cut any other place as long are Premier Cuts is around!

I cannot rave enough about Ann! She is the only person that asks if I’m okay with each cut before she makes it. Ann is so attentive to my requests and very careful with her cuts! I’m so happy with my cut and will definitely be coming back and bringing everyone I know here.

Ann did an amazing job with my trim! I don’t trim my hair as often as I should (I go only once a year) because I’ve had one too many bad experiences but my hair was so dry and dead that it was definitely time for a trim. I Unilocaled so many hair salons after work and ended up making an appt elsewhere but didn’t like the fact that it would’ve cost $ 40. So I Unilocaled some more the same day and came across Premier Cuts w good ratings. I decided to give the salon a call and asked if anyone would be able to see me the same day (mind you this is around 5pm). Ann said she would be able to at 5:15 which excited me. I got there quickly and showed Ann pictures of what I wanted and kept telling her I do not want more than an inch off and she listened! She kept reassuring me that she would not cut more than what I wanted off. I am soooo pleased with my cut! I will definitely be back and will referral people I know as well. For only $ 18 (because my hair is so long), can’t beat that!

Ann did an awesome job on my hair. My boyfriend recommended I go there for an easy trim. I walk in to see calomine colored walls and think «oh god». But surely Ann this small Vietnamese women reassures me to sit down. I called ahead, which I recommend if it’s after work hours.
Shortly after finishing up with the only other person in the salon, she hails me over.
I tell her what I want with short small words like short, tiny, just a bit, and she responds with yes yes.
She makes sure after every segment of my hair due it’s correct and I appreciated that.
She quickly finishes and blow dries me off. Offers me a bit of gel which I put in on my self.
It was only 12 $ and she nailed it.
My hair looks great and healthy. Thank you Ann!

Came here on a whim and because of the great reviews. I went to Supercuts prior to this hair cut a couple months ago and they charged $ 25 for a trim. No style, no blow dry, just cutting 3″ off. When I called prior to coming in Ann had told me it’d be $ 18 for cut & style, she gets it done the right way and for a good price too. She was great to talk to and paid attention to what I wanted and gave me the exact cut I asked for with the pictures I provided. She was awesome and I’m definitely coming back!

Come here for a quick, budget cut!
I booked a Saturday appointment just an hour before closing and got a cut (that I was satisfied with, maybe ⁷⁄₁₀) within 15 minutes. I showed a picture of what I wanted and the lady who was cutting my hair dived in with clippers and some shears. She left the front of my hair looking a little weird but you wouldn’t notice with how I style it. I wasn’t expecting a super refined haircut like those I get in LA for +$ 20 so overall this place was worth the price and definitely worth the time to check out!

After living in New York City for the last few years I gave up on not paying a fortune for an OK cut. Don’t get me wrong you can get great cuts for north of $ 35 at a salon. The Barbers will save your neck and leave you covered in hair and charge $ 25 plus tip
A year ago I went to Ann and like what she did. Honestly I and almost forgot about her. Normally I get cleaned up prior to my visit home. This wasn’t the case this time, and randomly Mom pointed me in the direction of Ann.
She quickly navigated my two cowlicks gave me a great cut. Good cuts twice over a year period not that’s consistency.
Now when I plan to visit Mom I’ll hold off on getting it cut until I come back to Concord.
What struck me funny is a 20 something girl came in for some color. She was out of the color that she wanted and asked about others. Ann was honest and said they won’t look right with your hair. The pointed her to go down street to someone else. She seems to care a lot about her customers.

Unfortunately bad experience at this place. She was always trying to leave my hair longer, this way I need to come more often for a haircut. Last time I went there she cut my hair uneven on the side so I need to go on the next day again. When there is someone waiting at the lobby she is in a hurry and she just wants to finish you as soon as she can so she can get the next customer and does terrible job. Very poor english its very hard to communicate. I will never go there again. sorry

I’m very particular about my hair and haircuts. I’ve bounced around from Barber to hair stylists. Paying up to $ 45 for a standard men’s cuts and recently paying on average $ 25 in Walnut Creek. I’m not even joking… this Lady/​Owner (Ann) gave me the best cut of all time. She’s insanely quick too, which I was concerned with at the time.
I will not go to anyone else besides her from now on. What a treat!

I have bees sporting the same Jennifer Aniston haircut since 1997. This lady cuts it quickly and at a great price. My haircuts are more thorough than the haircuts I have gotten from chain salons.

Ok ladies lets get real. As a mom of 2 I hardly have time for myself no more pedis and manis and luxury hair cuts. I don’t have time for it. Needless to say my hair was in dire need of a cut so I decided to give this place a try. This was the best, fastest and cheapest cut I have ever had! 15 min and 22 bucks with tip later I was good to go! Will be going back every few months, there’s no excuse to have terrible looking hair!

Total Asian feel. Reminded me of the Asian hole-​in-​the-​wall joints I went to growing up. Felt right at home. Now that’s a haircut!

Decided to try this place out since the price was very decent…$ 18! I showed her a pic of an A-​Line and she nailed it! She was so sweet and we had really good conversations. I loved how she continued to take her time with me even though there were a lot of people walking in trying to get a haircut. She is so patient and so worth the visit! Thanks Ann!

I’ve been coming here for the last six months and have never had a bad experience here. The service is great and can usually get an appointment on Saturday mornings.

I needed an emergency cut this past weekend as my friend let me know last minute we were gonna pop bottles in the club. I was in the east bay which is like a foreign country and had no idea to go. One of my friends who’s kinda weird referred me to this place so I was hesitant on going but went anyways as he told me the haircuts were cheap.
I walked in and Ann hit me with the fresh cut. I asked for what I wanted, and I’ll make it known to the Unilocalers out there, she gives the people what they want. She lined me up, cut in a timely manner, and brushed all the extra hair off my face to the point where I didn’t even have to shower, can y’all believe that?
When it was all said and done she told me, ‘I make you look good for da club,” and at the end of the day that’s all a young tall black man can ask for, ladies hmu

I have been coming here for years and have always left happy!!! Ask for Ann because she will cut your hair the way you like. Also, you can’t beat haircuts for $ 11.

Finally! A salon with hairstylists who actually know what they’re doing and don’t charge you an arm and a leg for a haircut! I never understood how some people continue to go to salons that charge you $ 40+ for a simple cut. This salon charges $ 11 for men and $ 15 – 18 for women depending on the length and how much layering you ask them to do. Premier Cuts delivers high quality haircuts at reasonable prices.
Ann always does an amazing job with my hair. She’s not very talkative which can be a good thing or a bad thing depending on who you ask — I personally find it kind of awkward when stylists try to make small talk with you so I’m perfectly ok with sitting back and just letting her do her thing. She always takes the time to ask you questions as she’s going along to make sure you’re ok with what she’s been doing. I usually show her a picture of the style I’m thinking of getting and it always comes out exactly how I want.
The décor is a little outdated but don’t let that deter you from trying this place the next time you need a haircut. I’ve been pretty lucky with walk ins but they do get pretty busy so I’d suggest making an appointment if you can.

The woman who cut my hair stopped several times during my haircut to walk behind the counter and talk with someone who was there on an unrelated matter. Each of these times left me sitting in the chair for up to 5 minutes.
She did nothing of what I asked, which was for a simple fade. She also shaved off a patch of hair at my temple, and did nothing to try and blend in the mistake.
At the end, she didn’t do any kind of wipedown or clean off. I had to ask for a rag to wipe my head and face down to clear off the large clumps of hair.
