China Silk Nails

Refused to do a pedicure at 4:15 pm on a Tuesday… I don’t understand why but I won’t return to support their business. Wow.

I come all the way from Walnut Creek to use this place. They have the best eyebrow wax EVER!!! Michelle is wonderful.

Ehhh, i come here everytime i want my nails done bcus ill be satisfied but after today im done w/​them. owner is rude, the lady who did my nails was rushin & did a crappy job. takin my business else whr from now on!

Okay so this place doesn’t look great but the ladies are hilarious and they did a great job on my white shallac. It was fast and she massaged my arms afterward. Just FYI it’s cash only so I had to walk to the ATM after the fact. I haven’t gotten a pedicure there because they use buckets. The mani was good! Waaaay better than bollinger nail salon which is where I used to go for 3 years.

I love this place! Always get my nails right, even though when I get there I don’t know what I want! KIM IS THE BEST! She always do whatever is on her mind for me & I LOVE it in return! Been going here for most of my life! LOVE IT!

I came here today because one of my best friends has been coming here for the past 15 years. Now mind you, being an avid Unilocaler — I was a little worried before coming here — however my best friends convinced me to be open minded to a place with subpar reviews.
I walked in and there were three very nice and friendly ladies working — I was taken in immediately. I asked for a gel manicure — which is always such a hit or miss — I asked Vicky, a few times for color suggestions — and told her how I wanted my nails to be bright and so often nail colors seem to be dull.
I chose my color and then we got started and done — she did SUCH a terrific job — double coated my gel polish — made sure my manicure was very clean and done well.
I’ve gotten gel manicures at other places before — and to be honest with you — this is the absolute best spot to date — Vicky really listened to what I wanted and delivered.
The price was also only $ 25!!! I tipped $ 5 because I was so happy with the job well done!
This might just become my go-​to nail spot!

Went there today for a pedi, umm… it was okay. The ladies were nice but polish selection is so very lacking (could not find very many or any opi or china glaze products). No massage chairs or jet foot tubs and it was just plain all around. I paid 20 bucks (cash only) and few more dollars for tip. I left with a pedi that I could of done at home. When I did get home I notice I had spots of polish on my toes and it was not painted on very smoothly. I don’t think I would go back unless all other shops were closed!

I’m shocked by the negative reviews prior to mine.
I have been going to this place to get my nails done (on & off) since 2004 and I just love them! I think the reason I love this place so much is the style they do your nails. They put the acrylic on thick and it makes them look curvier (obviously not the «natural» look) no other nail salon will do that for you. even if you beg and plead!
The ladies there are super nice and they will stay late to finish and not even give you grief about it. I noticed that one of the other girl below said they don’t accept credit cards which is a bummer yes, but, I don’t know of any nail salons that do (or at least ones that charge less than $ 40 for a full set)
I recommend them! Especially for acrylics!

Never go here. If the other review from that poor girl doesn’t scare you, read this.
I went in here after work, around 5 pm on a weekday. The manager fit me in, and nearly the entire time I was sitting there get my nails done, she was either talking on the phone, or yelling in Vietnamese at another employee. It was the the furthest thing from relaxing, which I’m sure is one of the reasons women like to go get pampered. Sort of defeated the purpose. Maybe it was the fact that she was paying attention to everything except my nails, but they ended up crooked, and I had her fix a couple.
It was $ 20 with a tip when I was through.
Later that night at home, my nails chipped! No joke. I was so mad I didn’t go back there (as I probably should have, to have them fix it), I just re-​did my nails at home and swore that I would never go back.
Ladies, save your money and don’t bother with this place!

Why is it so hard to find a great place in Concord to get your nails done! I went to this shop years ago when it had a different owner and it was excellent. Flash forward 10 years… it’s horrible! First off… they don’t accept credit cards, I had to drive to the Bof A up the street to get some cash. I wear the pink and white gel nails and needed a fill. The owner helped me. She proceeded to start ripping off my nails, it hurt so bad I was about to cry!!! On the beginning of the torture of my second nail I told her that this wasn’t going to work. Come to find out, she was trying to remove my nails to do a full-​set. I’m not sure if she was shady… but I reminded her that I needed a fill. Let’s just say that it was a very painful experience overall. She pulled out that mechanical nail gizmo and pushed down so hard I could feel it through the nail. I wanted to walk out a couple of times but couldn’t because it was to late to go to another shop and I didn’t want my nails to look jacked up. When she finished they looked ok. I would never go back!!!
