The Beauty Lounge

Just got my hair highlighted by Ashley! She is sweet as can be and I enjoyed our conversation through the process. My hair turned out perfect! I have recently moved to the area and was unsure where to go, but because of the reviews on Unilocal I thought I’d try it. The salon is very comfortable and stylish, and everyone was really nice. I will definitely be coming here from now on!!! :-)

I’ve gotten my hair cut here twice and both times were great experiences. I love that they’re open a little later so I can go after work and the whole place just has a great vibe. Highly recommend it!

I have seen both Carol and Nicole and they are both great. The last time I was there Carol spent some time with me talking about the color I had in mind and she got it exactly the way I wanted it! This is a great place and I always love coming here!

Went in for a much needed haircut and Nicole did an amazing job couldn’t be happier with my hair. Hands down one of the best haircuts I have ever had.

Carol is amazing and the shop is so cute. It’s hard for me to find a stylist who gets me and listens. I want to look like I don’t cut my hair and just wear it naturally. She does just that and she’s a doll to chat with. Support this lovely local shop. Beauty lounge for the win.

I hired the Beauty Lounge for my bridal hair and makeup (and to do my bridesmaids’ hair). I’m so glad I did. I’ll say at the outset that when I took a closer look at their Unilocal reviews soon after hiring them, I was a little freaked out to find that some of the reviews were by people affiliated with the salon. But my fears were totally allayed when I worked with Jill, who did my hair, and Cassie, who did my makeup (and mani-​pedi the day before the wedding). I had my trial run about a month before the wedding, and they were both a pleasure to work with. The day of the wedding, I voiced some concerns to Jill that my hair at the trial wasn’t exactly what I wanted, and showed her a new photo, and my hair ended up looking BEAUTIFUL — she did a fantastic job, and I couldn’t have been happier. I know my bridesmaids were also really pleased with how their hair turned out.
Cassie is an excellent makeup artist who really got into talking about different directions we could take with styles and colors, and I was so completely thrilled with how I looked for my wedding day. I got many compliments on the lipstick she used.
They were responsive and professional throughout the entire process, and I would recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone.

I love this place. I am treated like a princess from the time I enter to the time I leave and I always look beautiful when I leave here. I bring my children as well and they live Carole and her staff. You havent been here you dont know what your missing. Make an appt. You will find your new Beauty Lounge and Spa!!!

I love Carole and the Beauty Lounge! Very professional, friendly, unique and comfortable salon. Not only have I got the best hair cuts I’ve ever had in my life from Carole, but always the best color/​highlights too.
Now that I live in FL, I can’t find any salons that compare.

I desperately needed a new hairstyle and chose the Beauty Lounge because of the great reviews. Carole did not disappoint! I got a Keratin treatment and a new cut that I LOVE. I can’t wait to go back!

I’ve been a client at the beauty lounge since it opened. Staff is amazing, friendly, professional. I always feel great when I leave there. I have referred all my friends and family! My 11 year old daughter is always asking «mom when is my appointment at the beauty lounge». I am going to schedule an appt with Cassie very soon for a facial, I’ll write another review for the spa!

I love the Beauty Lounge! Friendly staff that treats you right– I always leave feeling like a movie star. Hip environment where I’m welcomed with a cup of tea and a smile… I moved to the seacoast but still make the trek to Concord for cuts and color where I know the gals at the Beauty Lounge will treat me right and give me just the right amount of attention! Super!

I ALWAYS go to the beauty lounge for a hot new look and a complimentary self esteem boost! I have always been comfortable walking in and love that my awesome hairstylist will give me all the time I need and listen to the type of cut/​color I want. Then she gives me her professional opinion, which I trust and respect and it makes all the difference in the world! I wish i could post a picture of my recent haircolor and highlights, she is truly gifted with the talent to mix complimentary colors to bring out your personality, cover your greys and make you feel ten years younger. I have always left with a huge smile on my face and am amazed I make it home without getting into a car accident because I can’t stop looking at myself in the rear view mirror! I recommend the owner to everyone from my ultra conservative mom to my funkiest friend. She is so warm and genuinely caring and it shows. The salon is huge and feels like your in a trendy, New York lounge but without the outrageous cost. Her prices are ultra reasonable and she even offers a discount if you refer a friend!
