Have been shopping from this place for a while now. Really good selection of arab grocery. The meat was excellent and it showed when I cooked it. Best place for fresh meat and I don’t mind driving over for it.

I’ve been going to this store for a few months now. Really good selection of meat and they seem to have been adding more grocery items. Main attraction for me was goat. The lady up front is pretty nice and if there is an item which is not available, she is quite prompt to order for you. Great place for Indian, Pakistani and Arabic grocery.

This store was extremely good, now the management got changed & price increased. Goat meat mix is $ 9.49 /​LB & chicken is $ 3.49 /​LB. This is a bit expensive though quality is good (as good as before). So, I am rating 4⁄5.

I’ve been frequenting Mera Khana for close to 3 years now. I worked for a local butcher in high school and was looking for a similar customer experience that I remember giving in the butcher shop. The meat was delicious and the service was great!
There’s since been an ownership change without a drop in quality of meat or service (The opposite, in fact!). The new marinated meats are very good and made to order.
I recommend MK to all of my friends, family and coworkers. You cannot go wrong.

Alhamdulillah, I have only had good experiences at this shop, even with the previous owners who were very kind to me as well as the new one. Clean, convenient, reasonably priced, and has other basics like masalas, daal, and frozen naan/​roti. Just remember, min $ 10 for card, otherwise bring cash.

Great service! Meats are reasonably priced and have no hormones added! (I’m really picky about my beef.) Clean and uncluttered, they have a nice selection of spices. Supposedly they can prepare specialty meats like tandoori — just talk to the people there, they are super friendly.

I am sad to read the negative review for this wonderful place. My family and I have always been treated with kindness and respect. They are wonderful people at Mera Khana and my children are always happy to accompany me there. I don’t mind paying 10 cents more for fresh superb quality. I am sorry to say that most halal shops serve old items and this place doesn’t. I never have to throw away things just because they have been sitting on the shelf for a long time.

This is a Hfsaa Certified Halal market that sells authenticated Halal meat, but are not very competitive when it comes to pricing their meats. If they want more customers, the owners should try to be more competitive on their meat pricing. Other than the price, I’d given them a 5 star for their friendly customer service & fresh meats.

Did you know that GOAT has more protein than beef and less sat fat than chicken?
Marinated whole chicken is delicious. Tandoori! However, one time I got a plain whole chicken (4lbs) for $ 9.99 and another time I got a marinated whole chicken (2.4lbs) for $ 9.99. I’d rather have a bigger bird. :T
**They also carry Harris Ranch meats which seems like an issue for some people due to feedlots. HR claims they don’t use hormones, but they do use MONSANTO GMO corn for their feed.

Awesome owners who care about what they are selling you. This is my new favorite meat market. They sell Halal Harris ranch beef and free range chickens. They even had turkeys for thanksgiving!

I’ve been looking for a Halal grocer who not just has a halal certificate on the wall, but also takes the time to follow through with checking out the actual farms which raise & breed the animals to make sure they are free range & cage free, & this is the place. The quality of their meat is excellent, the owners are very friendly and helpful, & not to mention they also have a halal deli section on the way. They also have their own marinated chicken & lamb chops, & they are delicious!
