This place is adorable, family oriented and everyone is so friendly. This restaurant has a real family ambience which is difficult to find.

This restaurant inside a store is somewhat of a badass. My carnitas where so crispy and flavorful I ended up eating all of my cousins leftovers because I could not stop eating. The service was remarkable. I felt like I was ordering food from a family member :) as much as I love super in depth reviews I really think this is one of those places you have to come and try for yourself. Everyone prefers different hands cooking their meals. These hands are perfect for me!!! Plus the cost is so low it would be a shame to not try once. I am honestly going to eat there tonight now that I have reminded myself about all the pork glory. I have tried most of the tacos and also the chicharron and queso pupusas. :D

Don’t think the reviews are accurate. Possibly some confusion on this place. A: No Salsa Bar. Zero. Zip. Nota. B: Not a carniceria. No pre-cooked meat for sale. It’s essentially a bodega with food to go or you can sit down and eat but didn’t see a waitress. The«market» is even more confusing. Shampoo. Bottled water, phone cards, some fruits and vegetables and pregnancy testing kits? My food? Frozen guacamole and cheese. Stale chips. Meat looks like something out of the scene from National Lampoons Vegas Vacation when they visit the buffet. Save yourself a trip and just hit up El Molino or El Faro.

Los Primos Market has a taqueria within. menu is the usual mexcian fare. pricing very reasonable. eats: tamales: pork, beef.(1.5) –mexican and salvadorean versions available, not sure which i got –masa stiff indicating lard not used –chicken tasted better than the beef one, freshness issue take outs: –fast, friendly service –parking in back is chaotic, watch out for aggressive women drivers

So I been Eatting there tacos for a few weeks I love them until I went there on Saturday and was with my roommate. I had just ordered and was waiting when my roommate spotted a Roach crawling on the wall we inform the young lady behind the counter what we saw. She tried to kill it and told the cook who spoke in Spanish too her didn’t seem like she cared. I got my food and didn’t even eat it. Won’t come there again.

I recently used their Taco Cart to cater my daughter’s bridal shower. Everyone raved about how delicious their tacos were! It was a wonderful success. They arrived on time and were very professional, even in the sweltering heat of the day. The only reason I’m not giving the full 5 stars is because they forgot to include the guacamole that I had asked for in the menu. It’s not a huge thing, except Mexican parties and guacamole go together. I’m sure had I reconfirmed the menu more carefully, it would not have been a problem.

We just used them for a catering event. The BEST food. You will not find better. I have worked with other restaurants and while I was satisfied with the others, they don’t even compare to Los Primos. The food is delicious and I am not easily impressed. Also the best service. The employees made our event fabulous.

Classic Taqueria. Love the tacos. Delicious and dirt cheap so you can order something of everything. Needs to work on ambience. Drop the TV’s and get a jukebox full of mariachi please!

YUMMMMMM! I got a tip from someone to check out this restaurant and it was the best Mexi food on Monument for sure. Super close to a ton of other taquerias, so it’s hard to choose one. I ordered the chicharron and cheese papusa, two chicken enchiladas with green sauce, and a water. I think it came out to $ 7 something and it was a ton of food. The papusa came with a delicious cabbage slaw which added a good crunch to everything on the plate. And it also came with this sauce that was sooo good, I have no idea what was in it. I only ate half my food and totally had to ditch the leftovers because I biked there and already had a bunch of bags with me. I will definitely be going back asap for more papusas. P. s. If you get an enchilada, order it green not red. Most flavorful green sauce I’ve tried yet.

This review is for the Los Primos Taqueria — separate entrance from the Market but they join in the back. I was driving around Monument trying to find a taco that called to me. I had flaked on my 5:00 Taco Tuesday dates and a few hours later I realized it’d be impossible to go another minute without a taco. Monument is the best place to go for these kinds of impulses. I don’t really like Mexican food. Just chips, salsa, and tacos. Soft and crunchy. So I ordered one of each tonight. As I was driving, I saw a sign for another a plaza on Meadow which ended up not having tacos, but this little place was tucked behind there. So I stopped! There was an ally-like lot around the side that I parked in. Very dark. Kind of seedy feeling. I had a dorado(crunchy) with carnitas and it was full to the top with meat(kind of weird) — the lettuce and I thiink sour cream and cheese were off to the side. The meat was good. Nicely seasoned but not as fried as I would’ve liked to see it. Not really fried crispy at all. Boo. The soft taco had pollo and a little cilantro and onion on top. It was almost too fried. The small slices of meat were very crispy, but they had good flavor too. Both were just okay. I washed them down with a large Coke(bottled, of course). And topped them with free chips and a few salsas from a well-stocked salsa bar. This is the place to come for a hot, roasted jalepeno! Or a jalepeno-cauliflower-onion-carrot medley! Yummm! The girl that took my order(Maria, says the receipt) was mopping the floors when I walked in. The place was really clean! She stopped to help me and answered all my questions and was really, really nice. As soon as I was done she cleared the dishes and wiped the table. Great service for a small little place at closing. I spent $ 4.88 plus a couple dollars tip — good food for the price. Fresh salsa for free! I enjoyed watching Telemundo on a large screen TV all the way across the room. Clear pictrue, pretty actresses, terrible storyline/acting!

Excellent food! I had a huge(I mean it when I say huge) super burrito with grilled chicken, rice, beans, cheese, cream, no salsa and they even let me trade in the guacamole for plain avocado which I prefer. I also had a small carne asada taco with onions and cilnatro, hold the salsa. They threw in a bag of free chips all for just over 8 dollars with tax.

Every Friday lunch, they do a fabulous BBQ Roasted Chicken. The serve any size platters – hot off the grill – starting at ¼ chicken with Rice and Beans and fresh tortillas. I can’t get enough of this place! I am inviting all my friends

If you are looking for an authentic Mexican place like you might find in the Mission in SF this is it. We hired them for catering for our daughters high school graduation and it was a smash hit !All our guests raved about the food. And we have eaten in the store too. Very good. Sort of reminds me of the Mexicatessan on 24th and Florida in the Mission. Winner!
