We came to Columbus to see our son. Spent the first night at a different hotel that he had booked that was unpleasant. My husband made a few calls and we decided on here mostly because of the indoor heated pool. Enjoyed our stay here. The bed was comfortable, room clean and stocked. Had a small refrigerator in the room which is great when you are going to be there for a few days. We spent Friday till Monday there and for an extra $ 10, they pulled our room first to prepare and we were able to check in by about 11AM after going down the road for breakfast. Really appreciated that we could get settled in and go about our day without waiting till the usual 3PM check in time. The staff very helpful and made sure we had whatever we needed to include replacing the heating/AC unit in our room quickly and efficiently when we let them know the control wasn’t working. Enjoyed the breakfast available in the lobby area. Not high end fair, but good enough to start the day with something pleasant. Actually liked the bisquits and gravy. Had a table and 2 chairs in our room to sit at to start the day checking my computer while having coffee. Liked the fact that they offered SMOKING rooms !!! Sorry, if that offends, but it offends me to not have it offered and was really happy with the convenience. Very close to Ft. Benning. Lots of stores and places to eat along the road that it is on to include a Dunkin Donuts and Denny’s to get coffee or breakfast close by. The heated pool was awesome to have in the cold weather that was hitting the area and great to relax in after sight seeing all day.

Stayed for 7 days, my company always finds the lowest rates in town. Saw 2 – 3 cute little baby cockroaches per day, and I stayed in two different rooms, 2nd and 3rd floors. Staff pleasant and helpful. Rooms look a little dated, but had nice large flat screen TVs. Free breakfast buffet is pretty low-end, with southern health foods like biscuits and gravy.

Nice room, nice breakfast bar, nice indoor pool. No where within walking distance to eat(except a waffle house) but a drug store right next door. The one(that’s right one) guest washing machine was broken while I was there but they let me use their laundry room late at night, so that was nice. A little expensive for what you get — but it’s close to Fort Benning and I’m guessing every motel within 15 miles charges about the same.
