This $hit hole sucks. You can hear your neighbor breathing, stay away… the workers are loud in the hallways, you’d think ppl would be more considerate to the guest staying at the hotel.

Worst motel in the South. Stinky dirty rooms needing critical rehab. Had a suite consisting of 2 motel rooms with connecting door. One bathroom smelled strongly of urine and had barf on the toilet. Carpet and interior looked to be from 1980. Both rooms had am unpleasant odor. Do not stay here unless you have been working on a pig farm and don’t mind strange smells or strange stains.

These reviews are misleading! Here is the truth– coming straight to you from my dingy hotel room. 1. Pool is small & on the side of parking lot. 2. Walk in to lobby, and it smells like weed! 3. Elevator is gross. Wash your hands after. 4. Room is old, smelly, and not appealing, –toilet is always running/making noises. –beds look questionable –carpet smells and is dirty with big stains –the door is chipped off on the bottom –ceiling shows patches from the leaks

I’ve stayed at a lot of nice La Quinta hotels… This isn’t one of them. The room is a good size, but filthy. The chair is covered in pet hair and is incredibly soiled(you couldn’t pay me to sit on it). The tub has pubic hair in it. The whole room just looks gross. I think the only thing they clean is the bed. And the rest of the hotel smells terrible and looks like it’s falling apart. It’s worth the extra $ 10 to stay elsewhere…

If you are traveling with a dog, this would be a good choice but otherwise, I would stay somewhere else. That is not true with most LaQuintas, but this one was not a favorite. The positives were that the front desk was very attentive and our room was large. Wifi had a strong signal. There is a nice steakhouse across the street. Negatives were housekeeping came at 9:30, and I asked them to come back after 12 noon. They never did. Our room smelled fresh but the hall and elevator were reeking of cigarette smoke. I looked to see if we were on a smoking floor, but I didn’t see any symbols one way or the other. The room was nice but could have used some spackle and paint on the walls. Also the window was filthy. If I had some Windex and paper towels, I would have cleaned it so I could have enjoyed an otherwise nice view. It could have been a super nice room with a touch up here and there. The breakfast choices were less than most La Quinta’s. Pool was very tiny and in the parking lot that overlooks the next door’s Super 8’s parking lot. There was a package store across the street. That could be a positive for some, but this one was a little seedy. I’m still giving it 3 stars for being able to take my doggie, nice front desk and the strong Wifi, but my least favorite La Quinta in a long time.

So I did not actually stay at this hotel during my recent visit to Columbus. I did however visit friends here and took a good look at the room because I plan on staying here next time. The La Quinta is far nicer than the Days Inn on Victory Dr. The room was spacious and inviting, and the bathroom was very clean. I’ll take a wild guess and say that the breakfast here might actually be edible. Best perk about staying at La Quinta? Burt’s Butcher Shoppe and Eatery is right across the street!
