I’m going with 4 stars for now, because I can only base my review off of 1 taco(for now that is). Tuesdays and Thursdays are $ 2 taco days. The taco I had last week was a a pulled pork taco on a blue corn hard-shell. It was great. The other food coming out of the tiny kitchen looked really good as well. The owner and staff all were very friendly. I will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. Pro tip: follow them on Instagram to see what the specials are. Or just to make yourself very hungry.

They say when you’re pregnant, you tend to have vivid dreams and I woke up from a nap after dreaming of a food truck! I headed straight downtown to Pig Latin and am so glad I did! The service was fast and very friendly and I’m assuming I just beat the lunch rush cause there’s no way people don’t flock here! The stacked arepa was so well balanced and delicious!!! Meat was moist, arepa had yummy corn flavor. nice and crispy on the bottom. Loved the textures of this dish. The plantains offered the perfect sweetness to balance the salty and spicy flavors. I also got the perfectly seasoned, fresh and crispy garlic Parmesan fries. YUMMY! This area seems to have very few food trucks but if Pig Latin is any indication, the springs is lucky to have quality over quantity!

The Stacked Arepa Plate is really good. Probably not so good that it would keep me from sampling the rest of the menu if I make it back to Colorado Springs, but still, really tasty in its own right. We took our food to a nearby park, but next time I’d stick around the truck so I can get some more siracha once I start getting to the bottom of the arepa. By that point it was kind of all gone and the flavor of the corn meal gets pretty monotonous. We ordered extra plantains and those were probably the highlight. Really the only negative thing I can say is that they were really slow. We ordered two stack arepa plates and some extra plantains and it took 35 minutes to get our food, which surprised me since they didn’t really appear to be busy. Oh well, good things take time.

Awesome tacos! Only had sliders and tacos so far, and the sliders aren’t an everyday menu item. Both were delicious.

The stacked areapa with fried plantains was fantastic, my wife had the grilled cheese and parm fries and the sanchwich melted in your mouth. The risotto balls were perfect. Can’t say enough good things about this truck. Its a must have if your in the Springs and enjoy unique food.

I had the grilled cheese, parm garlic fries, and risotto cheese balls. When I say it was all absolutely amazing that isn’t even enough. The fries are addicting, the sandwich was perfection, and the risotto balls made me wish I had more room in my stomach. The prices are great as well, check this place out now!

Wife and I are in town on vacation trying all of the triple D spots. This was by far the best food we had on the trip. Their pork was out of this world. The Arepa was to die for. You’re missing out if you don’t stop by. FYI the skirted heifer and spice island were average.

Love love love! I was feeling adventurous and so I got the Piglatin plate with the sweet plantains and everything, and thank God I did! One of the best meals I have ever had. The flavors were seriously perfect down to the lime they give you on the side. I’ve been craving it ever since. My friend got the grilled cheese and it was just as delicious. We finished our food in less than five minutes because it was so delicious, and filling! A bit pricey for a food truck but so, so worth it!

I’ve been driving by this place for a long time and finally had to try it after seeing it on tv. I had the dish with fried cornmeal, plantains and of course pork and it was excellent! I loved all the flavors contained in this dish and look forward to trying some more dishes

Had the stacked arepa. Delicious. Came with fried plantains… they were actually that variety of banana that’s mini and sweeter. I don’t even like bananas(texture issue, I don’t like sweet potatoes or other mealy starches like yucca either) but these were fried to be crispy and carmelized without cooking until the center was mushy, and the only reason I didn’t eat all of them was because I got too full to eat everything in the dish. Decent price, just over $ 9 for more food than I could eat(with a generous amount of tender pork) and a large mango iced tea. Service was fast and friendly. Will definitely be back to try everything else.

Omg I’m so impressed! Awesome food! Even my picky kids are eating it! My husband and I shared so we could try more items… the Kimchi quesadilla is amazing… love the twist on Korean food.

Speak PigLatin for great food Colorado Springs Food Guy went to the PigLatin food truck at the Curbside Cuisine Downtown located at 225 N Nevada Ave., at the corner of Nevada Avenue and Platte Avenue in Colorado Springs. They are only open weekdays for lunch between 11am-2pm. I tried the Piggy Grilled Cheese and it was delicious. It melts in your mouth. The Piglatin Plate was also sampled. Although the rice and beans were a little bland for my taste, the marinated pork and sweet plantains were fantastic. However, the masterpiece was the Stacked Arepa. The marinated pulled pork was succulent, the corn tortilla was just the right texture to carry the pork and the mozzarella cheese however it was the sweet plantains that caused a flavor explosion. To top it off, the staff was super friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. In the quest for good food, stop at the PigLatin food truck the next time you are downtown for lunch. My only gripe with Pig Latin is that they are not open 24/7, and they do not deliver(hint hint). My family has yet to find a menu item we dislike, and the crew knows us on site and had great recall with our menu preferences. The food is delicious and fast, the crew is awesome and friendly, and since they are mobile you can find them all over town.

I finally got to chow on some pig latin and it was most definitely tasty. My arepa was a little under and the plantains were kind of soggy, but the flavors were on point.

I have driven by this food truck for a few months now and finally decided to stop in with a friend of mine. Piglatin knows what people like– PORK! DELICIOUS! I got the piggy grilled cheese and parmesan fries. The grilled cheese is not for anyone on a diet– but I have to admit, I was pleased that it had spinach in it, YUM! The fries were good, but not as tasty as I would have liked. If you’re looking for smiling employees and a quick greasy lunch I HIGHLY recommend Piglatin– they’re perfect for folks that are in a time pinch and on-the-go.

A while back my daughter’s school had a game day and Pig Latin was one of the food trucks there for the families. I have to say their food was excellent!!! Everything we tried was to notch and had a ton of flavor. Hard to believe considering the only thing I have ever had great from food trucks are tacos. Check them out.

The Pig Latin Food Truck; I am 100% proud to say that this is one of the best Food Trucks in The Springs Period!!! The Food is mouthwatering flavorful, fresh and the guys and gals that work behind that counter on this moving truck of goodness are a true pleasure to talk to and ask questions about the many options of food they are serving!
