This is my favorite hangout spot in Colorado Springs. Good coffee, good beer, decent food. Great for date nights and night caps. Love music almost all the time.

The nitro coffee was great & the atmosphere was really nice and bustling with people. My only complaint was how long it took to stand in line(with only 2 people in front of us) and it felt particularly pretentious. I usually can go anywhere and feel at place, but unfortunately i couldn’t wait to leave! The employees definitely came across as if they have chips on their shoulders. Because I was just traveling through, i was unable to give them another chance, but if I make it back the springs I definitely will.

My favorite things are Water, Coffee, Beer, Nachos and wifi! This place excels at all of those things! They have gourmet water on tap, all you can drink! Ice coffee all you can drink! Fastest wifi downtown! And a great local beer selection! The staff is very nice and accommodating. I would totally recommend this place! Check it out!!!

Very good latte. Good milk ratio, steamed well. The only slightly lacking thing here would be the service. The cashier was standoff-ish which I might have shrugged off except that the ladies behind me were also commenting, so I figured it wasn’t just my perception.

Found it when we went into Switchback Roasters trying to find a great latte. They directed us here because they use Switchback java but, they make an excellent latte. Not only did we get an excellent java, we also had a wonderful lunch. They’ve a tiny menu with a great selection of things. Totally delightful. 2nd time back and we’ll return again… Next time, we are attempting the beer!

Is there anything bad to say about TWG? No, probably not. Every time I’ve been in here it’s hopping and the employees are always cordial and/or ridiculously nice in general. This place has got the hookup. Food, beer, coffee, wifi. Occasionally live music and latte art throwdowns. Good place to chat up a friend, study for your classes or just to grab a book and people watch. Their spiced apple cider was AMAZING and so was their oatmeal cookie dough cold brew affogato. Don’t ask, just buy it and enlighten yourself. Prices are pretty good, offers indoor and outdoor seating. To top it all off, the place just looks cool and plays good music. An absolutely gem in Springs, give it a go.

Such a cute place my boyfriend and I stumbled upon one night for coffee and hot chocolate! The atmosphere is really great and I love the wall of books. I will definitely return again! :)

The atmosphere here is great, a bustling coffeeshop and it also helps that they sell beer as well! Although my issue is that the food there is always lackluster, they have interesting concepts but its never quite«good». I had the baked potato soup, which was the soup of the day it was akin to vomit, not in taste of course, but the texture, I have never had anything like it. The soup had a watery/creamy base, with a couple of pieces of bacon and what I could assume is carrot mixed it, but it was not quite pureed all the way, leaving you with an unpleasant chunky mixture, yet I could not see any actual potato. Sandwiches are lackluster, I’ve had better subway. They get 3 stars for the coffee and desserts!

Have been here several times, and always thought it had a nice vib… still has that, but the employees have become very bored with serving customers and are mostly interested in talking to each other or consumed with their cell phones. The most remarkable thing was the total dive the food has taken, smaller portions, throw away plates… I really think if you are asked to leave a tip they could at least bring you water and silverware. Have crossed it off my list of a quick beer and something to eat place to stop on the way home…

Ugh. I really want to LOVE this place. COS *needs* more places like this. Most of the time, it’s a positive experience but this morning, I ordered a mocha and they said they would bring it out to me. There were no coffee orders in front of mine so after about five minutes, I thought I should go check to make sure my coffee wasn’t cooling off waiting for me on the bar. When I came up to the bar, the barista was chatting with a friend– which is totally cool– but he seemed SUPER annoyed that I was disturbing him. I apologized for intruding and while I scanned the bar said that I had ordered a mocha. The barista said with an unmistakably annoyed tone, «Yep. I’m making it right now. I’m currently melting the chocolate into the hot espresso and about to pour it into the steamed milk and then into a cup.» I smiled and explained that I’d been way in the back and thought that maybe they just couldn’t find me. Without any eye contact, he slid my cup across the bar and sarcastically said, «Thanks so much for coming in.» Yeah, cool, bruh. He was like every bad movie’s characterization of a bitter, asshole barista. I’m sorry– what the fuck did I do wrong here? I’ve personally been a barista in MANY establishments. I know how long it takes to pull a shot, steam milk and pour a mocha and it’s NOT five+ minutes. Give me a break. I’ve received less bitchiness from NYC baristas. Even Denver’s most hipster-mobbed coffee shops are friendlier. Not only that, but the milk was warm. Not hot. The whole thing was a mess. If you’re the owner/manager here, please let this clown go. He’s wasting your payroll, making shitty drinks and being rude to your paying customers. He’s 20-something, slight build, chin length dark brown hair with the sense of entitlement for which his generation is reviled.

Pretty good! I was looking for a coffee shop to set up in and get some work done. This place was perfect. I didn’t get any food or alcohol so I can’t comment on them, but the coffee is some of the best you’ll find in town and very affordable considering the quality. Both times I went up to get coffee the person serving me was incredibly friendly and definitely cared about the product. It was a little busy during the lunch rush, but nothing unexpected. The crowd is a good mix, not to hip to be obnoxious, but just enough to for you to feel smug. I go to school out of state, but if I went to CC this would be a regular spot for me. The Springs has gotten very hip since I’ve been gone. I like it.

4.5 stars I really liked this place. Part of that may or may not be the drinks I had around the corner before coming in so I was in happy food-hunting mode. I ordered some things that were kind of weird. The guy at the front counter recommended them and I ran with it, removing the ingredients I don’t like. There are a bunch of books against the wall and they’re arranged ROYGBIV(mmmm, happy eyes). I started scanning for a food-waiting selection… Wasn’t willing to grab what I really wanted from the red section as the couple sitting in front of it were about to make-out and were having the most mind-numbingly dull conversation… so I opted for a reachable Van Gogh. Then I texted a photo of no-right-ear Van Gogh + the 8 month later version of the left side of face where he looks guilty«Oh yeah, you saw that ear thing, huh? Let’s try this self-portrait thing again.» Food! The soup was awesome. I’m not sure what all was in it, but it was cut up into small piece so I was still getting texture, but not in large chunks. I know that could bother some people, but I loved it. I also got a vegetarian sandwich with pears and cheese and onions and other things that I never thought would go well together, but definitely did. There was a chill band playing and it was somewhat crowded. I enjoyed it.

Hands down, they have a great mocha. Only downside of The Wild Goose Meeting House is that it tends to get crowded and very loud. Some of the tables are arranged a little too close together and it’s not unusual for another customer to bump against you as they walk by.

A fairly unique place. I would describe the atmosphere as chill. Not too loud. Open air feeling(in summer anyway) with their repurposed garage door/window open. The beer selection was definitely unique. More of the unrecognizable beers from the micro breweries. Food was fine. Nothing amazing. I had the BLTT wrap. Overall a nice atmosphere. I liked it and would come back.

Wishing I had this coffee spot in Houston! Very cool and fun place. Their coffee is some of the best I’ve had. Incredible. Ask for advice on what you want. Staff was more than willing to drop some recommendations. I liked their cookies too. The atmosphere is really cool. Some awesome decorations with a Breaking Bad theme(at least when I dropped by). You can get some live music too. The music wasn’t blaring loud either. Parking might be an issue. You’ll have to rely on the street or go nearby. Worth the effort.

If you are looking for a good place to spend a lot of money, but be with«hip» people, this is your place. We had some unusual beers, but two beers were $ 10+. The service was strange. We had to go to the front counter even though we were sitting at the bar to get our orders placed. They would take our orders after we gave them a credit card to hold, making an «open» tab. I probably won’t go again, I’m such a tightwad and there are places to get great beer at a good price within walking distance.

What a great little coffee house. I took my daughter her for a treat one sunny afternoon and we were not disappointed. They have a large selection of coffee and tea. Additionally, they make their coffee in a press or via a hand poured drip and they taste amazing. I had a cappuccino and my daughter had a hot chocolate and we were both pleased. It was full but the staff was nice, promote and helpful.

I like the long tables and free wifi at Wild Goose. I feel there’s enough energy that I’m not falling asleep while working, but also I’m not drowned in noise. Some days there’s live music. On warm days they open up the big garage door and let in tons of fresh air. There are many types of tea and coffee on the menu and there are usually two types of iced tea you can serve yourself. The food menu is pretty small and limited. I’m guessing they don’t have a big kitchen to work from. Most of their offerings are along the lines of nachos and sandwiches, which is great if you’re just in the mood for a nosh while studying. I wish Wild Goose was a little farther from the college so that it wasn’t as crowded in the mid-afternoon. Sometimes I avoid the spot because I have that gut feeling that I won’t find a place to sit and work.

I love the goose. It has a great feel, great beer and great coffee. The staff is so nice and helpful and the food is delicious! I came in hoping to get an apple cider cocktail but they don’t have hard liquor. Not a problem, I got regular hot apple cider. It was delicious and made from scratch. I got the chips and queso as well – the queso is whipped I think, and they give you a lot which is awesome. I love this place and I live two blocks away… it’s awesome.
