My wife and I decided to try the bacon fest with the coupon we had. We checked our jps and found out it was over 7 miles away. We decided to go there any way. The place was half full with only one waiter. The waiter was abrupt to start with but when we found out he was the only one on the floor, we understood. He became very friendly and efficient after we ordered. The bacon burger was amazing, but the scrambled eggs in pancake was not. My wife asked for it to be replaced with a bacon burger like mine. A manager came to the table and we explained the situation and the fact that the waiter made up for the problems we faced. The bill came to $ 22.50 so we ordered a peace of pie to go over the required $ 25 for the coupon to be valid. When paying, I was informed that the coupon was one day over and could not be used. I asked for the manager and she said she was. I was astonished that as a manager, she did not care to make sure we where satisfied. Perkins is back in town but unfortunately not for long if they are not more concerned about the customers they are serving. It is a shame they are back but don’t have their priority in the right place.

When I arrived here, the place was mainly empty, so I thought I’d be getting prompt service, but that wasn’t the case. It took a few minutes for anyone to notice me waiting be seated, and even then, it took someone coming out of the kitchen to seat me. The coffee clearly had been sitting on the burner for a couple hours by now, and had that burned aftertaste. When the waitress did show up, she took my order and then came back with the coffee, and then tried to push me to buy a pie to go, to which I said no. Despite my response being a no, she came back with a pie box, stating«This is for when you change your mind.» The omelet I had was okay, but nothing write home about. After having finished up my omelet, I decided to take advantage of their free Wifi that they advertise, and finish up some work. Before I go any further, keep in mind that no more than a third of the restaurant is full at this time, so it was not like was keeping anyone waiting. This is when the waitress began to not so subtly let me know I should go, as she was stopping by my table every five minutes or so to «Just make sure everything is good.» Either way, I’m not going to come back here.

Took the kids and had no issues. Layout is the same but the refreshed décor has finally left the ’80’s. Food was bland chain stuff but not horrible. Good fried pickle appetizer. Our server seemed on top of things; she got the order correct, kept the drinks refilled and was pleasant. Lemon meringue pie was good if not memorable. Our 5-year-old said the cherry pie was good. Got a chocolate muffin to go and it was fresh. Overall glad it’s back, it beats Denny’s all to heck for late-night.

Food was great but I think the waitress was new, I’ll give her that. Didn’t get the order right and had to ask three times for the extra condiments. Wasn’t even busy.

Had breakfast here when they first reopened, the food was good however the wait staffed seemed overwhelmed with the amount of customers. I have returned today to find the food was good however the cleanliness of the plates in which food was served on lacked the attention. I had greasy finger prints on my plate which grossed me out but would of been a dream for a CSI episode. Hopefully they figure it out before they have to close again. Also before dropping the bill it is always good to check on your customers.
