I found this to be very expensive for what we received. We were charged .75 for cream cheese and the side pancakes were 5.99 each. Our total bill was $ 100 for 5 adults which I found to be excessive.

I had previously been to The Egg and I and the meal was good, which is why I returned on Sunday — complete 180 I am sorry to say. We were seated very quickly as the restaurant was not full(and we were willing to take a booth by the kitchen as many tables had not been cleared) and given menus, but my daughter and I already knew what we wanted! I The Parisian Benedict for myself and the Arizona Turkey for my daughter. I was told our server would be with us momentarily, however it was a good 10 minutes before we were able to get our order placed. And then the wait… a total of 35 minutes. The staff was running around as if they had no direction, and when I asked what was taking so long, I was told that there were new cooks, and also because I ordered my potatoes crispy. What? Regardless of the fact that I can make my potatoes crispy in about 5 minutes, I did let that one go, and asked if we could get some toast while waiting… never came. By the time our food arrived, the table behind us had left due to the slow service. Now, regarding the Arizona Turkey, my daughter said it was good, but I have to say the Parisian Benedict was so below par from what I had before. The eggs were hard-boiled, the sauce very bland, and the potatoes? Mushy and no seasoning. I did eat part of it though as I was STARVING, but this recent visit has left a bad taste in my mouth(literally). One note: our server did try her best, and while I am not sure if she is new or not, definitely flustered… but she tried. Cannot see us returning here when there are many other restaurants in town.

I’ve eaten here before and it was great. I’m just writing this review to let people know to eat somewhere else on any kind of holiday. It’s Mother’s Day today and we showed up at around 10:30am. It is now after noon and the waitress just informed us that our food is about to be started. It doesn’t even seem that busy, but the staff are running around and they seem overwhelmed. I’m really thinking about not coming back to this restaurant based on this experience alone.

Amazing! My bf and I have come here now a handful of times and have never been disappointed! I always order the Crab Cake Benedict and it’s ALWAYS delicious. Bf orders pancakes, which are HUGE! Their ranch potatoes are incredible,(I can eat just those!!). Basically, this is one of two of our breakfast go-to places.

I had the Parisian Eggs Benedict. Eggs were prefectly poached. Hollandaise sauce was smooth and excellent. So many other breakfast places miss on poaching the eggs and it’s become a common disappointment of mine, but The Egg and I nailed it. Thank you. I’ll be back for more.

Service was amazing, but the food had lack-luster. Plating was awkward at best, placing my food in a weird plate then on another plate, was just weird. Overall the food wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t spectacular.

This place was pretty good the first time I tried it but I just had it this morning and it was a whole different story. The eggs were slimy and soupy, not cooked right at all and my lady and I had to vomit within an hour of eating the food there today. It was completely unsatisfactory and we won’t ever even look at this dump again. Totally unacceptable and disgusting. The wait staff was even night and day from my first to current experience and it was the same establishment. Had to ask for a straw, the ladies coffee carafe had the lid barely on it and we were treated frankly very shitty by the little pudgy Mexican girl that was our waitress… don’t waste your money here. They might kill you.

Absolutely wonderful!!! Not many places in colo. Springs serves eggs Benedict. Delicious breakfast and artisan type atmosphere. Great service, very nice staff, no problems whatsoever. And not very expensive. Definitely one of the best breakfast restaurants I’ve ever been to. I will most definitely come back.

Fast and friendly service. I showed up around 0910 on a Saturday was seated and had my breakfast within 15 minutes. The have an everyday 10% military and senior citizen discount. Also for a limited time at this location only kids 10 and under eat free, one for every adult entrée purchased. I’m very pleased with the service here and will come back. Lastly, the have a free meeting room you can reserve with WiFi and LED projector.

Three of us had breakfast there on June 11, 2015. All our meals were good and service was quick. We each had a different omelette and one waffle that were good. We also ordered a side of biscuits and gravy that was disappointing. The gravy tasted like it was from a can or package and then they added too much salt.

I came here for brunch this past Saturday and really enjoyed it! There were only a couple of tables taken in the resturuant, so I guess I got lucky. I had the Parisian Eggs Benedict, and it was delicious. My food came out promptly. Food was hot and my toasted croissant(underneath the eggs and sauce) wasn’t soggy. Portion was large. It was very flavorful as well. There was an issue with a drink that I ordered(I didn’t like it at all), but they were great about offering me a different option and did not charge me for the first one. Menu is a wee bit pricey, but it was worth it. Staff was super friendly and very attentive.

Horrible experience. The service was extremely slow, it took over 25 minutes to get our beverages after we were sited. Maybe if the server would only take one ticket at a time instead of 3 the service would be faster. When the food arrive, there was nothing special about it. The ranch potatoes were the bland and saggy. The omelets were below ordinary, and made from egg cart in my opinion. You will think a restaurant with Egg in there name will use fresh eggs. The apple juice had a weird taste, which my kids refused to drink it. We will not be back.

Expensive put not bad food. Kids eat free I believe, but they should offer a early bird special. Not everyone has kids :)

Eggs Benedict were pretty good. The waitstaff was very friendly and the hostess just was too! Got my food quick and it was hot. The fact that the place was packed and service was still good is amazing.

I have been to many an egg and I and this one is by far the worst! The hostesses were gossiping about the servers while leaving 5 or 6 tables open when there was a wait of 20 mins. Once we finally got our table and drinks ordered the waitress brought my husband and extra pitcher so she«wouldn’t have to come give him more refills. «Finally I realized we had not seen our server in about 30 mins and still no food while everyone that got seated after us got their food! When we finally got someone’s attention they brought only my husband’s food out and a cold side of potatoes! Long story short the service was not there, the food was bland and cold! Sad to say we will never be going back!

The Egg and I restaurant is a franchise restaurant chain that servers breakfast and lunch in a truly underwhelming dining experience. The whole occasion of eating here was as bland as the food that was served, I know this review sounds snarky and snobbish thus far but, it was a flavorless experience that truly isn’t even worth a review if not just to give people a heads up that they’ll be eating at the breakfast equivalent of the 2 – 4 pm Senior Special at the chain buffet. In short if you’re looking for a quick bite to eat at a breakfast chain restaurant that is not anything out of the ordinary then this is the place for you, just don’t expect much!

This is usually my wife and I first choice to go out for breakfast. Had their stuffed French toast last time we went and almost passed away, it was so good. The staff is friendly, but the place seems very tight. Overall, you get what you pay for people, no need to tell you how to spend your money. I definitely recommend this place.

Service was slow and sub-par. Food was over priced for what you get and didn’t even taste good. We found a hair in my son’s pancakes and the sausage was the kind that you buy at Wal-Mart. We will never eat at this chain again. Go to Omelet’s Ect food is priced right and always tastes Awsome!!!

Hubby & I were highly satisfied with our experience at this restaurant. Very clean, delicious food each time. The pumpkin spice coffee is so flavorful & yummy. The staff were all friendly which was the cherry on top with our experience here. Highly recommend this restaurant! Looking forward to going back.
