Will never go here again because of the terrible service. All of the staff was high. Not a little happy, clearly high and probably should not have been handling food. They cancelled my egg roll order without telling me. Took about 15 minutes to get the soup included with our dinners. Another 15 minutes later for the wontons and spring rolls included with our dinners. Another 15 minutes then our dinners came out spaced 2 – 3 minutes apart and they never brought rice for one of our party nor did they ever come back to the table to check on us after delivery. My lo mein noodles were over cooked but otherwise tasted ok; that being said — the service was absolutely awful. Fortunately we were catching up with a visiting friend or we would have walked out in between the intermittent food deliveries.

Service seemed nice but I’m sure the young guys serving us were smoking pot. It took forever to get ANYTHING and it’s not like the place was packed. Not sure why it took so long since we never even got our full order — they forgot our rice and egg rolls. 2 hours for Chinese food was ridiculous! Oh! And the«lo mein» was more like angel hair pasta. Weirdest lo mein I’ve ever had at a Chinese restaurant.

I was surprised to see 4 stars when I came to write this review. While the food was good what really drags this rating down was the service and the fact that we did not get half the food. We went in sat and were promptly greeted. We placed our order. I had the Four Flavors with Garlic Sauce. We also ordered some egg rolls. About an hour later our food came out. I got my Four Flavors but not the promised rice. Also the egg rolls never showed up. We ate so we could get on with life — never been to a Chinese restaurant where an hour of my life was wasted on waiting for the food. As the food was nothing terribly special and I can get the same quality a number of other places here in Colorado Springs, I can’t foresee myself ever visiting here again.

Delicious and economical. If you’re ordering take out call ahead of time and that’ll save you some time. We ordered in person it took over 15+ minutes but must say it was pretty delicious. The steamed dumplings and meat sticks! Just because of the wait time I’m taking one star off if not it’d be perfect.

Not only was the food AMAZING and AFFORDABLE, but the service was PHENOMENAL. The staff was so friendly, ESPECIALLY the elderly Asian women; she was so sweet with amazing hospitality!

Went out of our way to try this place, based on many positive reviews. Good thing they all warned about the unprepossessing storefront lol– almost scared us off it was so dilapidated. Soldiered starvingly on, thank goodness. Great, old style Chinese food, with care and attention to preparation. Excellent, good natured, happy service, and the little lady who runs the place is a treasure. Wish we didn’t live an hour away, we’d come all the time! Fav!

Best Chinese food place in town. The owner is amazing and super funny. I haven’t had the experience of delivery but when I sat down to eat their food it was hot and fresh. Other than that it’s a Chinese restaurant what more can you really say about them.

Wow! I found this place on Unilocal and decided to try it out. The wonton soup was everything promised and although the outside sign made me skeptical… it was awesome. The portions are large. The service was wonderful, my glass was never empty! Perfect for my family of 5, with 3 little boys.

Best hot & sour soup in town. Never had a bad meal here. I eat Asian food weekly, and Overseas 101 is consistently my favorite.

A few vegetarian choices. Very large portions. I had the chow mien I guess. It didn’t have any noodles and the sauce was kind of like gravy. I also had the egg drop soup which was really good and had an almost creamy texture. My dad had the sesame tofu which was really great and I’d order it next time.

I’m pretty picky about Chinese food after having a professional chef in the family and this is a solid 9 out of 10, and has become our restaurant of choice for Chinese cuisine for the past 3 – 4 years. Joe is AWESOME and always knows what we want before we order and the food is always hot and most importantly, DELICIOUS! We like the pot stickers(fried dumplings) and crab rangoons to start, and with an egg roll, wonton and soup with every entrée, it’s hard to beat! We like the combo fried rice but their lo mein is always yummy too! Highly recommend! All I have to do is tell him«it’s for Kevin» and Joe has it ready to go!

The best Chinese takeout or dine in that I recommend to all my friends. Manager and his wife and employees are always super friendly and remember me most times I go in. Price is great for the food quality. We usually order for the entire family but combination Lo Mein is my favorite with some potstickers. Beef Broccoli, Sweet n Sour shrimp is also very good.

Great food was fast and arrived here hot. But slight misshap on the order. Overall tons of God food for a great price.

I don’t want to tell people about this place because its our little secret! But I guess I have to share. So yummy, huge portions and great prices. Meals come with soup, egg roll and fried wanton. The staff is so friendly. They are great to eat in, pick up or have delivered. The sesame chicken is my favorite, the sauce is SO good. My kids love the sweet and sour chicken and my husbands goes for the spice, mongolian beef or sichuan chicken. Man, I’m making my own mouth water!

Great portions! They end up giving you an almond cookie, fortune cookie, egg roll and soup along with your meal! Worth the eat.

Humongous portion size with extra stuff on the side. Dinner came with delicious soup, egg roll, and wonton. The Sesame Chicken was way too sweet however. It was bad enough to where I actually threw it away without finishing, and I never throw away food. It was un-eatable, if that’s even a word. The guy working there was super upbeat and friendly. Still, I won’t return here.

Joe is the best! This place is truly satisfying Chinese food. You know how you try a new Chinese place expecting that savory salty goodness but everything is just blah or has some weird off taste that makes you wonder what kind of meat that *really* is? Overseas 101 is the complete opposite of that. Everything is packed with flavor and with portions that could feed a family of four with two dinner entrees. This was our spot before moving to Fountain but we just moved back up north and literally the first night at the new house we ordered take out from here. «It’s been too long, combo fried rice cooked by Joe’s tiny loving hands, it’s been too long… «(said in my head as I inhaled it.) PS. Their egg rolls are bomb dot com and I know good egg rolls(Filipino heritage. If you’ve never tried lumpia with banana ketchup you haven’t lived.)
