We were looking for someplace just to hang out with our adult kids for a bit. Pleasant atmosphere, lots of flavors to choose from — some really unique! Sampled a few to make sure we got just the one we wanted — gal at the counter was very helpful. We’ll go again when we’re in town! Plus it’s in a great little shopping center!

Still the best in town! Loved the Gnutella Chocolate gelato in a chocolate coated waffle cone. Friendly staff and so many good choices for ice cream and gelato plus the tempting gourmet coffee.

Wow! they let you try«all» the flavors… The only problem here is: that it’s really hard to choose what flavor to get, because almost everything here is so good. I got the pumpkin cheesecake, malt, and the apple cider Gelato, all of them were really scrumptious. Another plus: they have in the back a cozy spot, with some sofas and some reading material…

I’d been here before, and while I thought it was good, I wasn’t as impressed as I was on this visit. The two girls working were both incredibly patient with all our sampling, and they were great on recommendations. The monkey bread gelato was to die for… I’ve never had such amazing gelato and have been spreading the word right and left!

This is one of my favorite places to go for a treat. My husband and I live fairly close, so we like to walk over there during the summer and get a nice little cup of heaven. They always have different flavors available, and a few that are true favorites return frequently. My favorite is the Coffee Caramel Crunch!!!

Seriously how cute is this place and how nice are the employees? They greet you the moment you walk in the door and tell you everything you need to know about their product!(Even grilling them on allergens) I mixed the chocolate strawberry with lime sorbet, while my husband got cherry with salted caramel. All four flavors were delicious, I wish we were going to be herein get to try some more! Give this place a shot, and then go back again. Super cute vibe and they have a few outdoor seats. While its in a shopping plaza you can still see the pretty view so hop to it and get yourself some dessert!

This ice cream was so awesome and creamy. I love the fact it’s local and made in house. It was delicious

Saltine toffee caramel crunch is the way to go. But honestly there are so many different flavor combos I’ve never heard of that you can’t go wrong with stopping by this place! Best ice cream I’ve ever had. Hands down

I order a root beer float. They gave me the ice cream separate in a cup and a soda can. It wasn’t nicely prepared how it should. What a waste of money, I could’ve just gone to the market and buy my own ice cream and just mix it at home with soda.

I was blown away by the options here. I have been searching for a great ice cream place in Colorado Springs. I used to get great Gelato from a Whole Foods in Denver but since moving south I haven’t found any great options until now. The search is over and the whole family and wallet agree. This is our ice cream shop! The cinnamon Gelato was amazing! The cake ice cream even better.

We stopped in here while shopping in the local shopping center. I had salted caramel gelato, and my 8 year old had a cookies and cream ice cream. Both were really good. They have a wide assortment of gelatos and ice creams. I thought the prices were just a bit high, although that may be because we usually go to Josh & John’s where my son gets the .99 kid’s cup. Overall, though, it’s a nice little place, and we would return if we were up in the area.

When Glacier first opened, gelato was becoming trendy and lines were out the door to get to the gelato side of the shop for samples. At the time I was impressed by the variety of flavors from Glacier. On my most recent visit, I noticed a definite difference in the quality of the gelato. Most of the basins were nearly empty and what remained appeared to be have been sitting out for a while. Employees let flavors drip into other flavors without scooping out the runaway bits. Something about the scoops that were being used seemed unclean. The gelato scooped almost like loose pudding and melted fast. It was a bit of a let down.

Glacier is a fun place with great ice cream! The prices are a little steep, but it makes sense, as everything is made here, and the quality is very high. They rotate the flavors pretty frequently, so there’s almost always something new and delicious to try. And even though the price is a little high, they’re glad to give you free samples, so that you’re not stuck with a flavor that you don’t enjoy as much as you thought you would. The exception to the pricey sizes? The 99-cent baby cone. You really do get a decent amount. Whenever we’re in the neighborhood of the UVC, we at least consider a trip to Glacier – you should, too.

Good prices, good variety, cozy atmosphere. Gotta love free samples! Not a big fan of University Center– pretentious, confusing, crowded, redundant stores.

I really enjoy Glacier. It is hands down one of my favorite ice cream/gelato spots in the Springs. When they first opened I would come here almost every week. I loved the fact that they switched out there gelato flavors so often. For those who don’t know, gelato is similar to ice cream but is thicker and creamier. I would always recommend going for gelato over ice cream. Glacier makes all their flavors in house and are always rotating their flavors around. So when you go you really have no idea what to expect with their offerings. I love this because they never remain stagnant and always appear to be experimenting. Now with the bad. I really feel like the flavor selection has gone down in the past year. I think they are getting too comfortable with the flavors people come to expect and generally demand. What really drew me to this place initially was how they thought out of the box. Josh and Johns ALWAYS have the same flavors. As Glacier has gained customers I felt they have become less daring. I’m also not in love with the pricing. A medium gelato will cost you $ 4.50. When I buy it, it’s hard for me to thin that I could b spending this money on a pint of Ben and Jerry’s. The location and set up is great. They have awesome outdoor seating where the kids can play on a relaxed summer eve. They are always playing music and definitely cater to the nearby college crowd. Almost all their workers are young college age kids. The service is good and they put up with my requests for 100 samples when I come in. I highly recommend this place!

Amazon ice cream! Try the sticky bun flavor, also they do double the card punches on rainy days!

Went here cuz had Groupon $ 10 for $ 5. Pleased with ice cream, got cookies n cream and mint. My only disappointment was that my total was only 8 something and they didn’t give me change or help give me more product. I guess that’s just the way it goes. The other reason I’m not giving 5 stars is that we like Josh and Johns better. And to get more for your money… there’s always Blue Bell!

Love this little Gelato place. Very good variety, always had a great products. Staff are always friendly and happy to help. Close by to BJs and Bonefish for a post-dinner dessert. Only issue, in summer can be a bit of a wait.

Lots of flavors(of both ice cream and gelato) — very friendly staff who were willing to let us try a bunch of flavors before making our choice. I ended up with a scoop of the caramel(which tasted exactly like butterscotch angel delight — which is a pudding from England that I miss a lot) and the aztec chocolate which was not too sweet and had a nice tingle of heat from the ancho. I would definitely stop by this place again as there were more flavors I wanted to try(Nutella, coconut etc.)
