Every time I come here’s it’s an unfortunately disappointing experience. Clothes are unorganized and bought in bulk with various sizes and few duplicate items in different sizes basically, you get luck of the draw here, and although it’s all«on sale»… You still over pay for it all. $ 34+ for poor quality = your typical clothing item. I came in on Wednesday with my friend wanting to buy a comfortable dress or pants. Upon walking in, the girl working there was rude from the start. My friend and I were just enjoying their huge selection of Indian/Tibetan clothing and I found 5 pieces I wanted to try on. I couldn’t help but to feel like my space was invaded as this girl that worked here(who was Indian, with a dark ponytail and looked younger than I am, but not much) basically stalking our shopping experience, which I don’t understand. They have signs posted saying«smile! You’re on camera!» So, really… If you think I’m a threat to your merchandise just because of how I look or whatever, watch me on your camera instead of making me feel profiled as a thief. I asked to try on the pieces, basically waving them around to show her how many I had to be transparent and maybe earn some sort of trust. She said something that I understood as «3 many only in room», I really couldn’t catch it all. So I picked the 2 that I was not super in love with, although I may have still bought, and asked permission again to enter their room. She insisted«how many now?!» I held up 3 fingers, and flailed my 3 hangers… and after she thought about it for a minute, she said«okay…go ahead.» My friend had 2 pieces, and this was her first experience at this store. Now’s the part that ruined it all. We go into the dressing room, they have a saloon type door with a crack in the middle that can be seen through, so we picked the rooms all the way in the back end for privacy. I’ve never felt more offended as a customer before. I might as well have invited her to watch me undress. I loved a pair of the pants, and decided to buy them despite my offense. My friend had experienced a sexual trauma and being secretly watched in the changing room pretty much put her in a stress that I needed to calm her down after we left. I was mad, yes. Mad as hell, but I’m an American consumer. I asked her for a discount since it was one of the few items in the entire store without a sale sticker. She reluctantly agreed and I paid $ 34 for a pair of stiff pants that I’ll probably only wear to bed or when I’m sick… I’ll never be back. I can get the same type of stuff on EBay 70% cheaper… I used to shop here on a monthly basis to buy Nag Champa incense, but now… I’m done with this place. It’s gotten out of control. New management/new staff or they’ll surely be out of business soon. I don’t recommend shopping for clothing here, but if you need a fat Buddha statue or some bells… Then knock yourself out.

Everything is «on sale»… But if you know anything about retail– you don’t mark EVERYTHING down to let the customer think they are getting a «deal». Items here are overpriced, and inventory is dated.
