Koru Street

I absolutely love this place! What a great addition to the downtown shopping scene! This place stocks only handmade items ranging from jewelry and handbags to knick-​knacks and artistic sculptures. Most of the items are made from recycled or renewable materials which adds an environmentally conscious aspect to your shopping experience.
The staff person that greeted us that day was incredibly knowledgeable about all of the items including their artists and makers. She was very enthusiastic about the uniqueness of their items and emphasized the differences especially in the jewelry. Every girl needs a one-​of-​a-​kind piece, right?
To me, this place almost seemed like an affordable art gallery offering not only art you can hang or set some where but art you can wear and be proud of as well. I will most definitely be back!
