Captain D’s

I wish I could give this place negative stars. I honestly don’t know how terrible the food is as I had to pull up to the window to order after 10 minutes of honking and actually calling the place from my phone before I was responded to at all. I asked for a 10% discount for my 10 minutes of waiting. I was told that I could have a dessert. I didn’t want a $ 3-​$ 5 dessert, just $ 1, as I was ordering $ 10 in food. I was told that only seniors and military got discounts. Funny how the manager never even asked if I was military. Luckily for me I started recording after I was told the drive through wsd broken. I will add the link to my youtube video by tomorrow. When I told the manager he was being recorded his defense was that he wasn’t rude. Good for you buddy! Glad you also failed to provide any kind of service as well.

A lot of healthy choices. I really like my White Fish w malt vinegar. Friend got combo with Crab claws, fish, and more. Looked great.

I eat at this Captain D’s on a normal basis. Its clean and the food is always great for a fast food restaurant. I enjoy the fish and shrimp.

The best battered fried fish at a fast food restaurant! And, if you want healthier alternatives, they offer wild caught salmon, baked tilapia, grilled shrimp, baked potato, and steamed vegetables. Plus, they offer a wide variety of other seafoods including lobster bites, which are real lobster. I’m not saying you can’t get a better variety of fresher, better quality seafood (at a much higher price) on the coast, but this IS Colorado, not Seattle. Plus, kids eat free here on Sundays!

I’m not sure what I expected. I have eaten at Captain Ds for years and never been dissatisfied but this trip wasn’t what I remember. They must not have thought people were coming in. Service was slow and it seemed like everything wasn’t quite done. The only saving grace was that the coupon made it cheap.

This is not very good seafood at all. I think it rates under Long John Silver’s so that isn’t saying much. This particular location isn’t bad, but overall the quality of the fish has gone down. I think it tasted much better about 10 years ago. or maybe my taste buds have just changed. It just seems like they now use a different cut of fish and they’ve changed the batter. For some reason, I always go back just to try it again, and each time I say that will be my last. But I do love fish so I keep trying.
